The prices of gold have been rising at a very fast pace. This study focuses and observes the effect of different macroeconomic factor which include the foreign exchange rate, crude oil prices and the rate of inflation which may have a significant effect on the price of gold in the context of the Indian economy. For this purpose, in the study the data of foreign exchange rates and crude oil prices have been collected for a period of 10 years. The tools of correlation and regression analysis have been used primarily to evaluate the relationship between each of the independent variables along with the dependent variable. It can observed from the results that the price of gold has a minimal relationship with the price of crude oil and a significant relationship with the foreign exchange rate. The results of this study can be useful to policy makers, analysts and investors which can help them understand various determinants of the price of gold and the help them make more informed decisions.

Kenya governments interest is realized in TVET institutions evident in enhanced support by way of funding for projects and increased enrolment, training of TVET tutors and management , and formation of TVETA, to fill the job skills gap towards Vision 2030. However, one component that has been overlooked is student leadership that links TVET management with the beneficiaries, the students, for focused operations towards individual specific TVET institutional goals. This is evident in student unrest and uncoordinated activities which together lead to general failure to achieve expected outcomes. In unravelling the underlying courses, it was realized that overally, less than 3% of students apply for consideration for leadership, only 15% of them were formerly students council members in their high schools hence 85% had no formal institutional leadership experience. Therefore administrative vetting for appropriateness based on academic performance and discipline records does not result in quality contestants due to the small size of the pool of applicants from which to qualify candidates for election campaign. Despite the enticing monetary allowances and other non-monetary incentives for students council membership, a preliminary survey revealed that out of the 81 TVET students (formerly high school students council members) only 39(48%) would wish to serve in college leadership position. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to establish the extent to which high school students council membership experience was a motivator for seeking student leadership in TVET institutions in Lake Region. The study was based on optimal anticipation model of decision making (Gollier & Muermann, 2010). The population consisted of 12 Deputy Principals (Administration) and 81 TVET students (formerly high school students council members). Census method was used to select 10 Deputy Principals (Administration) and 71 TVET students (formerly high school students council members). Instruments of data collection were questionnaire for 71 TVET students, and interview for 10 Deputy Principals and 20 TVET students(formerly high school students council members). Validity of instruments was ensured by subjecting the tools to expert scrutiny while reliability was established through test-re-test method for 2 Deputy Principals and 10 TVET students whereby Pearson-r of 0.7 and above at a p-value of 0.05 was considered acceptable. The study finding was that there was a statistically significant positive relationship between high school students council membership experience and motivation for seeking student leadership in TVET institutions. One way ANOVA revealed that at F = 0.106, df = 71, with a significance level of 0.042 at a p-value of 0.05, the set hypothesis that there was no relationship between the 2 variables was rejected. Therefore, the curriculum should include a compulsory leadership training course for all students at the initial stages after admission into TVET institutions given that TVET institutions have no control of the high school experience. The findings can be significant for TVETA in coordination and supervision, TVET curriculum designers and TVET management in ensuring availability of appropriate management skills and attitudes for students seeking student leadership in TVET institutions.

Hyperpigmented gingiva becomes an aesthetic concern when it is associated with gummy smile. In such cases Correction of gummy smile and depigmentation together are important to establish the patients aesthetics and satisfaction. Out of different treatment modalities, the most economic and easiest method is by using surgical blade. The 3-month follow-up results showed excellent colour and contour of the gingiva. Mere depigmentation without correcting gummy smile may look cosmetically good but aesthetically unacceptable. Considering the cost effectiveness of surgical blade over other modalities of treatment, this article will focus on the management of such a case using surgical blade.

This paper discusses the design of a pyramidal horn antenna with high gain, suppressed side lobes. The horn antenna is widely used in the transmission and reception of RF microwave signals. Horn antennas are extensively used in the fields of T.V. broadcasting, microwave devices and satellite communication. It is usually an assembly of flaring metal, waveguide and antenna. The physical dimensions of pyramidal horn that determine the performance of the antenna. The length, flare angle, aperture diameter of the pyramidal antenna is observed. These dimensions determine the required characteristics such as impedance matching, radiation pattern of the antenna. The antenna gives gain of about 25.5 dB over operating range while delivering 10 GHz bandwidth. Ansoft HFSS 13 software is used to simulate the designed antenna. Pyramidal horn can be designed in a variety of shapes in order to obtain enhanced gain and bandwidth. The designed Pyramidal Horn Antenna is functional for each X-Band application. The horn is supported by a rectangular wave guide.

The net sown area, current fallows and land under tree crops and groves are included in agricultural land use. Use of land is an important factor for planning process because of the finite nature of land resource. Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra covered an area of about 17 lakh hectare comprising nearly 73.52percent area under net sown area in 1971-1972. Area under forest decreased slightly, area not available for cultivation decreased by 0.52 percent, other uncultivated area increased by 0.38 percent, while fallow land decreased by 0.92 percent during that period. Among the tahsil, overall volume of change is greater in Nagar, Sangamner, Shrirampur and Newasa tahsils probably due to dynamic conditions existing there.

There are only two principal sources either a gift by paternal ancestor or a share in partition, the property will be considered as HUF property of the individual. The Supreme Court restricted the source and prohibited the tax planning of an individual who inherited the property from father treating it as HUF property, Even for HUF, the taxing authority has to examine the residential status. The source of HUF property and the nature and right of individual coparcener in relation of HUF property, There is a basic distinction between Mitakshara and Daya Bhag regarding HUF property because in Daya Bhag son does not have birth right in the property during the life time of the father. Only after the death of the father brother's can consider the property as HUF property till they remain joint and can be assessed as HUF whereas in Mitakshara ancestor property from paternal side automatically takes shape of HUF property and every coparcener has fluctuating interest in the property under the concept of common ownership and unit of possession. From time to time the taxing authorities restricted the source of HUF property and prohibited blending of individual property in common pool of HUF even then in hundreds of cases HUF property has been separately assessed. If a coparcener transfers his individual property in the common pool, the property would become HUF property but the income from that property will be treated as individual income.
