 Abstract

This paper aims at providing an account of the non-concatenative word formation processes adopted by Molsom language namely compounding and reduplication. In Molsom, the most productive types of compounds are the endocentric compound and exocentric compound. Endocentric compounds in Molsom are further classified into two: left-headed and right headed. Reduplication is also another productive morphological process in Molsom. It can be of two types: complete reduplication and partial reduplication. Molsom has plenty of partial reduplications; and the less productive one, i.e. complete reduplication has also been observed in Molsom. Molsom attests partial reduplication where the reduplicative template copies the entire part of the base from the right edge excepting the initial consonant. A fixed consonant begins the reduplicant which is predominantly a coronal [+cor] one: /t?/ or /s/. Instances of reduplicants with /b/ as the initial consonant are also noted. In cases where the base begins with a coronal i.e. /t?/ or /s/ the reduplicant prefers to keep the consonant unchanged and changes the immediate vowel after the consonant in a systematic way.

 Abstract

Housing for all and "Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation" (AMRUT) scheme made by the government of India contribute for the increase in consumption of medium and economy range Decorative Paints. The preference of the people in paints has changed in last few years from traditional white wash to higher quality paints like emulsion and enamel. This change is due to media exposures and innovative marketing techniques adopted by the paint companies. The paint companies are doing efforts for the growth by focusing on distribution network, product portfolios, brand building, skill development of painters and digital advertising.

The outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in China in 2019 is such one type of worst impact on world after influenza in the decade of 1911-20. The socio-economic conditions of every country and every person are affected by covid-19. The world economic growth rate declined as well as of India. This article is intended to understand the Covid-19 pandemic origin, spread worldwide, to assess the impact on Indian Economy and to know the sectoral changes in India during the Covid-19 pandemic. As per the data revealed by the Ministry of Statistics, India's growth rate was fallen to 3.1 percent in the Quarter 4 of the 2020 Financial Year. The unemployment has risen to 26% in April, from 6.7% in March 2020.  Abstract

There are some conversations one never forgets, and one such conversation we had with a child while undergoing our study made us realise that even though we are at a peak of global economic boom, we have failed to consider these children belonging to the streets in every aspect. Be it education or basic healthcare, the street children are often being neglected. Seldom do we hear from our authorities, any major work being undertaken for these kids. Over the course of time spent studying these street Children, one can effectively agree that children are the first victims of the urbanisation that is being forced upon the world. There are several studies supporting my claim, that around 38000 kids live on the streets of Mumbai who are deprived of the basic facilities of food, clothing, and shelter that is required for their bare survival (according to a report published by TISS and Action Aid India, 2013). Their vulnerability is captured by the fact that two out of five of them have had to face physical, verbal, or sexual abuse and forced starvation at some point of time in their lives. Government protection like the Right to Education Act seems to bypass them, with nearly one out of four in the school-going age remaining homeless and illiterate. Hence, we believe incorporating these kids in the planning of towns and considering them at urban level is of prime importance, to ensure the primary right of all children: the right to their childhood, for which, we need to focus on the plight of the homeless children by creating some momentum to the existing Urban planning policy to ensure that no more children are delivered up to the harshness of life on the streets by introducing temporary and modular shelters. The first step in all of this is to provide shelter to them where they can live, learn, and work without pressurising the already crowded town of Mumbai.

 Abstract

At current situation, Manyasthambha is most commonly occurring disorder due to changing lifestyle i.e. dietary habits, travelling, stressful jobs, computer work, improper posture of sitting and sleeping etc. According to Charkacharya Manyastambha is a disease which occurs because of entry of Prakupita vayu in both ManyaNadis, it also called as Antaryam. But Sushrutacharya told that Manyastambha is of Kaphavrutta Vatavyadhi and it is different from Antaryam, in which the patient is unable to move his neck and back, unable to talk, unable to yawn, excess salivation is there, stiffness of the muscles of neck and back. Manysthambha can be co-related with cervical spondylosis in modern prospective. Cervical spondylosis is a chronic degenerative condition of the cervical spine that affects the vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs of the neck as well as the contents of the spinal canal. Among elderly person above 42 years, it is more common. Nasya karma is one of the effective treatment in Urdwajatrugatavikara including Manysthambha.
