The present study conducted by the researcher makes an in depth analysis into the complex and multifaceted social evil called "Prostitution". Ethically, this might seem a social taboo but individually, this is source of income for the vulnerable section of the society. It is rightly said that the women who are trapped in the web of prostitution are likely to be there by reluctance and not by choice. The underlying causes such as poverty, unemployment, lack of education, scarcity of basic amenities and many other factors have contributed to the growth and prevalence of prostitution in India. This research paper deals with the concept of prostitution, the causes of prostitution, the various judicial pronouncements and laws related to it and the arguments in favour of and against prostitution in India. At the end of the research, the researcher has concluded with suggestions with respect to the steps to be taken for the improvement of the conditions of prostitutes in India.

Abstract Introduction: Chronic bronchitis, a common variant of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), manifests as a persistent cough and excessive mucus production, significantly impairing patients' quality of life. Effective management strategies are required, integrating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Aim: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions in improving respiratory function, reducing symptoms, and enhancing overall quality of life in patients with chronic bronchitis. Settings and Design: The study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital utilizing a convenient sampling method. A total of 16 participants aged 30-65, diagnosed with chronic bronchitis, were recruited for this 6-month experimental study. Methods and Materials: Participants were assigned to the group. The group received physiotherapy interventions, including airway clearance techniques, breathing retraining, and exercise rehabilitation. Outcomes were measured pre- and post-intervention. Statistical Analysis: Data were analyzed using Descriptive statistical tests, including Mann Whitney and Wilcoxon tests to compare outcomes between groups, with significance set at p < 0.05. Results: The study recorded significant improvements in respiratory function and quality of life metrics within the group, including increased chest expansion, peak flow rates, and maximum inspiratory pressure, as well as decreased sputum volume and enhanced performance on the 6-Minute Walk Test. Conclusion: Physiotherapy interventions are effective in managing chronic bronchitis by improving respiratory function and quality of life. These findings underscore the importance of integrating physiotherapy into a multidisciplinary approach to treat chronic bronchitis and enhance patient outcomes. Keywords: Chronic bronchitis, physiotherapy interventions, respiratory function, quality of life, airway clearance techniques, exercise rehabilitation, patient education.

Poster design plays a crucial role in Tamil cinema, serving as both an artistic expression and a marketing tool that shapes audience expectations. This paper analyzes the poster designs of director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his innovative storytelling and visual style. By examining key elements such as typography, visual composition, color palettes, illustrations, and photo manipulation, the study explores how these aspects combine to convey a film's core message and narrative. Focusing on Kanagaraj's films, this research highlights how modern Tamil cinema poster design has evolved beyond traditional aesthetics, enhancing both anticipation and success. The case study offers valuable insights into the creative choices behind these posters, situating them within Tamil cinema's broader visual culture and providing a framework for analyzing regional film poster design.

Amidst the most disadvantaged groups worldwide, gender minorities endure daily discrimination based on their appearances and behaviors while grappling with numerous obstacles. The crisis regarding gender identity that many transgender individuals face stems from the dominant societal framework of gender dichotomy. Society largely acknowledges only two gender categories: male and female, consistently neglecting other identities. This deeply ingrained gender binarism is firmly established in cultural traditions and serves as the primary driver of the discrimination faced by transgender individuals. As a result, the suppression of their identities often starts early in life, compelling many to hide their true selves and authentic instincts. This internal struggle is intensified by societal attitudes toward gender. Trans Indian authors such as Revathi, Living Smile Vidya, and Laxminarayan Tripathi delve into their experiences of growing up within a cisnormative environment, where their true selves frequently clashed with the expectations placed upon them. This conflict between self-identity and societal perception is a recurring theme that influences their experiences throughout different phases of life. Another significant theme is resilience. Despite encountering systemic discrimination, social rejection, and both physical and emotional abuse, these writers emerge as powerful advocates for transgender rights, confronting the oppressive systems that attempt to marginalize their community.

Rishi Agathiar, one of the Sapta Rishis (seven sages) in Hindu tradition, holds a unique position in Indian history and culture. His contributions, especially in South India, are multifaceted and deeply influential, spanning the realms of religion, language, medicine, architecture, and societal reform. While the northern Indian spiritual tradition primarily associates him with Vedic wisdom, his southern legacy extends into Tamil culture, Siddha medicine, and the shaping of Dravidian civilization. This paper examines the historical, religious, and cultural contributions of Rishi Agastya to South Indian society, tracing his presence in Tamil literature, folklore, and the development of key knowledge systems such as Siddha medicine. His influence on temple architecture, literature, and the broader Indian philosophical landscape also highlights his significance in shaping the trajectory of South Indian history.

The interface between both industry and academia has an origin of convergence and divergence. While industry is more interested in market-based applications and profitability, academia is more interested in basic research and knowledge generation. This discrepancy causes problems with innovation, manpower preparedness, and information transfer. Among the most significant differences between academia and the business community include differences in objectives, funding sources, research schedules, intellectual property regulations, and the development of human capital. Industry demands quick, tangible deliverables that support company growth, whereas academia often concentrates on long-term, discovery-oriented research. It takes time for academic findings to be converted into commercial applications due to a misalignment in research objectives. Furthermore, graduates of academic programs typically lack the practical training necessary to meet the demands of the workforce. Stronger industry-academia ties, curriculum changes, and reorganized funding for research are proposed as ways to close these disparities. Effective ways to bridge such divides embrace creating cooperative research initiatives, improving fellowships for interns and encouraging transferring technology frameworks. Students' employment will be increased via updated curricula that prioritize competencies including industry certifications, project-based learning, and problem-solving with real-world entrepreneurial examples. Dynamic funding policies that strike a balance between applied and fundamental studies must additionally be established by governments and non-governmental organizations. Furthermore, creating efficient intellectual property rights regulations can help academic institutions and business organizations communicate information more easily. Case studies of extremely successful organizations, like the Fraunhofer Institutes and MIT, offer valuable insights into practical methods for establishing enduring partnerships. Using global best practices as a guide, this paper thoroughly analyzes these important problems and solutions. Innovation, economic growth, and a skilled labor force all depend on bridging the gap between university and industry. Academic institutions and industry can work together to promote technical developments and sustainable growth by arranging productive partnerships and structural adjustments.

In both national and international contexts, rights that are inherent to human society have been codified into enforceable documents. While these documents explicitly mention certain rights, they are interconnected, often requiring interpretation to understand their full implications. The right to privacy is particularly important, allowing individuals a level of confidentiality in their personal lives. Key international agreements, such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Covenants on Civil and Political Rights, reference this right. In India, the right to privacy is recognized as essential to life and liberty, ensuring that each individual has a personal space free from unwarranted scrutiny by the state or others. Despite the widespread acknowledgment of the importance of privacy, there is a lack of clear international guidelines defining this right, contributing to difficulties in its enforcement. This right is seen as a qualified one, posing challenges in determining public interest and managing the private sector's role. Communication confidentiality allows individuals to share thoughts and information away from societal, commercial, and governmental interference, emphasizing the significance of privacy in communication systems. Since the mid-20th century, the notion of a right to non-interference in personal life has gained attention, particularly with the rise of technology. The integration of technology in daily life has led to concerns about personal data collection and monitoring, prompting demands for clearer regulations. Data protection, a part of privacy, has recently gained global attention, as the right to privacy extends to the protection of one's data. India's growth in sectors like education, health, and communication has been significantly influenced by the Internet and outsourcing, providing employment opportunities. However, India's approach to data protection varies from Western norms, reflecting its unique cultural context. This cultural variance creates a divide in privacy rights discussions, as different social philosophies shape the principles governing data protection. This paper will discuss current Indian legislation related to data privacy safeguarding.
