Nowadays, Breast Cancer is considered to be a major threat to women which is leading to an increase in death rates of women causing a major concern in the society regarding it. This disease may be a major threat but today medical-science is capable enough to cure such threats without causing any harm to women if detected at early stages. Detecting the cancer and differentiating between the diagnosis that affirms whether the patient has breast cancer or not is considered to be the major challenge. For accurate diagnosis of breast cancer many research paper throws light on Machine Learning Algorithms like Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The following paper talks about the diagnosis of breast cancer using Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) which are supervised machine learning techniques for breast cancer detection. The proposed model is tested on Wisconsin breast cancer diagnosis data set which is selected from UCI machine learning repository. The data was pre processed which was followed by feature extraction of the data set using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the performance of the model was diagnosed using six different machine learning algorithms namely Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Classification and Regression Trees, Logistic Regression, Linear discriminant Analysis and k-nearest neighbours. The technique proposed in the paper achieved an accuracy of 99.30% by Support Vector Machine with Principal Component Analysis.

Our problem statement is about waste management in India. In our country, we keep our houses by dumping the waste into public spaces. To overcome this problem of waste dumping in public spaces we have built an incinerator, which is powered by solar energy. We proposed an innovative incinerator, which has a scrubbing module attached to it. The advantage of our proposed model is that it burns out all the waste and the by-product is clean air and ashes. This can further help in ensuring clean public space, clean water bodies and polluted ground water. The system we have developed can be customized based on requirement.

A zinc oxide coated-chitosan tripolyphosphate (CTPP) polyelectrolyte membrane which can serve as bioactive-selective properties to improve adsorbent or the antifouling performance in membrane surface. In synthesis of CTPP membrane, the concentration of tripolyphosphate (TPP) may varied , (0.5%, 1.0% & 1.5%) at pH 5.0, where the chitosan to zinc oxide nanoparticle ratio is 8:1, 4:1 and 2:1 , with specific wider pore radius of CTPP-ZnO membrane. The membrane performance test have applied by using of methylene blue solution with a 4ppm concentration is passed or diffused through the membrane under pressure controlled by valve in 10 bar. The addition of zinc oxide reported that the interaction of methylene blue and ZnO nanoparticles mainly consider as the ionic bonding between the positively charged of ZnO and negatively charged of methylene blue (-SO3-), which led to affect in hydrophilicity of polyelectrolyte membrane with high performance as reverse transport in osmosis during performance test.

Chronic illness can have a severe impact on the wellbeing of individuals. It could be quite stressful to make adjustments in day to day life to manage the chronic illness and cope with reduced quality of life. There is a two way relationship between chronic illness and stress. The purpose of this study was to compare the perceived stress and life satisfaction among adults who have chronic illness with those who do not have. A brief questionnaire on perceived stress, life change units stress scale and life satisfaction scale were administered on a group of 140 individuals (70 adults with chronic illness and 70 adults without any chronic illness). The sample was taken from various parts of Goa. t test was used to measure the significance of difference between the two groups. Results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups with regard to perceived stress level, life change units and life satisfaction.

The simplest definition of the term blended learning is the use of traditional classroom teaching methods together with the use of online learning for the same students studying the same content in the same course. It is a thoughtful fusion of face-to-face and online learning experiences (Garrison & Vaughan, 2008). There are also blended programmes, in which students study some courses in face-to-face classrooms and other courses are delivered fully online. In other words, blended learning is a term applied to the practice of providing instruction and learning experiences through some combination of both face-to-face and technology-mediated learning. During the technology-mediated components of these learning experiences, students are not required to be physically together in one place but may be connected digitally through online communities. Classroom instruction time may be replaced or augmented by online learning experiences, and online learning can include varying degrees of interaction or just time alone in independent study and learning activities. However, in a quality blended learning experience, the content and activities of both in-person and online learning are integrated with one another and work toward the same learning outcomes with the same content. The various learning experiences are synthesised, complement each other, and are planned or orchestrated to run in parallel. Blended learning is sometimes called hybrid or mixed-mode learning. These systems of instructional design use many types of teaching and learning experiences and vary in design and implementation across teachers, programmes and schools. The potential variations of mixed-mode learning are virtually endless.

Abstract: The history of indenture has always been narrated from a dominant male perspective. The subaltern status of women relegated them to a secondary position or even had led to the silencing and marginalization of women from the narratives. The contribution of women forming a diaspora needs to be acknowledged and this study aims to locate the valuable position of women in the Indo Caribbean diaspora as migrant labourers who fearlessly journeyed across the forbidden kala pani and recreated a new life in a far away land focusing on the novel Jahajin by Peggy Mohan.

Humans have an amazing ability of spatializing and locating the sound. Having such an ability, it is a clear evolutionary advantage. The auditory system uses various different cues for location of sound source, such as time and level differences between both ears and spectral information. The vision of paper is to describe the process of reproducing a more natural stereophonic sound giving a realistic sensation in spite of the influence of differences in the shapes of ears or an irregularity of the recording system or the reproducing system, through a combination of an air conduction sound produced through bone conduction by an acoustic output device. Provided is an acoustic output device having an air conduction sound providing unit configured to provide an air conduction sound and a bone conduction sound providing unit configured to provide a bone conduction sound. The bone conduction sound providing unit is positioned near an ear of a user.
