Chemical interesterification between super stearin and palm kernel olein blends were reported to show various degrees of plasticity, which were suitable for commercial margarines and shortenings. The chemically interesterified blends at ratios 70:30 and 80:20 of super stearin and palm kernel olein were shown to be suitable melting point and solid fat content for shortening applications with good plasticity and spreadability. The resultant chemically interesterified blends showed lower slip melting points and solid fat content, while having desirable very fine spherulitic ?? crystals. The interesterified blends exhibited smoothness, with good aeration and creaming properties well suited for the production of vanaspati, margarine, shortening, non-temper-type confectionery fats, and fats for whipped creams. Chemical interesterification is a safe, easy and cost effective alternative method to hydrogenation. With the advanced technology cheap raw material such as super stearin can be optimize for the fat products formulation. The Chemical interesterification process is much more flexible in modifying oils & fats as well as time saving and environment friendly.

Sign language is used by the Deaf people for communicating with others. This proposed system provides an opportunity for deaf persons to communicate with normal people without the need of an interpreter. This paper presents an Automatic translation system for gesture of manual alphabets in Marathi sign language. This system provides system and methods for the automatic recognition of Marathi sign language. This system contains two steps; first step is to create a database of Marathi Sign Language and in second step hand gesture recognition. We have experimented the use of this sensor glove on people of different age groups and proposed system provides the better recognition rates near about 94-95%.

The union territory of 'Pondicherry' Comprises of four regions namely 'Pondicherry, who were the last to settle in pondicherry. However the Genius of the Frenchmen enabled them to cope up with the European rivals.Francois Martin is often acclaimed as the founder of Pondicherry. But even before his arrival, Pondicherry was a famous cloth centre and also had a good port. The English records mention that the pindaris, after the capture of Gingee, had plundered the cloth port of Pondicherry in 1648. His perseverance, his gentleness with the natives, his fair dealing all contributed to the real foundation of the settlement at Pondicherry. The fruits of his excellent rule were fully realized in the time of his successors.

In the aim of achieving greater visibility, too many Arab literary texts have been translated into English. Actually, this work gives focus on the post-colonial era in which too many literary works were produced but the western orientalists and academics continued to consider them as worthless and worked to spread stereotypes until a wave of translations in the Arab literature took place. This paper shows how the orientalist notion that modern Arab literature is not a literature by itself but a social documentary, proved to be untrue through the remarkable translated texts which achieved repute and success inside as well as outside the Arab boundaries.

Banking sector is playing important role for the sustainable economic growth. Profitability in Indian scheduled commercial banks needs to be evaluated for the improvement of banking system. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of the profitability and evaluate the role of bank specific factors on the Scheduled commercial banks in India for the period of 2006-07 to 2016-17. In this paper, financial ratios are used on the basis of factor analysis. The study shows that no individual factor can be solely responsible for the variations in the profitability in the banks; it is a combination of different factors which are associated with the profitability. Factor analyses have selected to identify the factors that get highest, moderate and lowest priority in banking performance. The various analyses have been used to study the profitability and various tests have been applied to know the factors and bring out the variables. Nationalized Banks Group associated with profitability was positioned at the top followed by SBI Banks Group.

Sustainable and eco-friendly natural dyes can be produced different shades of colors and the can have lowers colors fastness when compared to synthetic dyes. As the products of natural dyes are able to produce different shades and eco-friendly nature, they are in high demand. Leaves, barks, roots, fruits or berries of plants are the sources of natural dyes. Such dyes are obtained by boiling leaves, barks, roots, fruits or berries in water. This study deals with the process of dyeing wool fabric with the dye of the barks of Terminalia arjuna.L. In this study, the color fastness and color strength (K/S) of the dyed fabric is assessed and compared. The conclusion arrived at the study is that the fastness properties and color strength of the dyed wool fabric by adopting pre- mordanting method with 3% mordant combination yielded better results.

The future of fiber technology for medical application depends largely on the future needs of our civilization. The use of new polymers for medical textile application has increased rapidly over the past quarter of century. The polymers are excellent candidates for applications in the medical field because of their versatility, biocompatibility, bio absorbability and absence of cytotoxicity. New polymer encompasses practically every facet of modern civilization. In fact along with other medical hi-technology streams like bio-technology, this technology will also be one of the major propellants for developments. Today emerging polymer includes new capability polymers such as alginate, chitin chitosan, collagen, hydro gels, hydrocolloids, superabsorbent polymers and such others.

Food production is a top priority issue in the world. Bakery products are an item of mass consumption in view of their low price and with rapid growth and changing eating habits of people. The bakery waste has a potential value for producing enzymes. Lipase producers have been isolated mainly from bread waste that contains oils, fats etc. In this paper, Staphylococcus saprophyticus bacteria was isolated from bread waste and screened for lipase activity. Parameters like pH, substrate, incubation time, metal ions, carbon source and nitrogen sources, detergents were used for optimization. Among all the parameters the maximum lipase activity of 5.01157U/ml was found in pH8.
