This paper presents harmonic reduction in distribution system using hybrid filter to improve power quality. Now a days we are using non linear loads in distribution system. These non linear loads are creating the power quality problems, reduction of voltage and increase the voltage. To improve the power quality different types of methods are there,in that main is the active and passive filter. In this project proposing the hybrid filter, both active and passive filter compared with conventional methods.By using this hybrid filter it reduce the harmonics and improve the power quality. In active power filter it has the voltage source inverter (VSI), and storage as an active and then passive filter. The result of the proposed filter improve the power quality in distribution system, the converter has been simulated in matlab/simulink platform.

This paper analyses various students’ movements and activities particularly the MZP, which is the oldest and biggest students’ association in Mizoram. Several students’ movements and activities for peace process, technical education, unification and brotherhood of Zo-ethnic tribes etc. are analyzed and discussed in this paper. Moreover, the origin and formation of MZP and other students’ associations which were formed to play constructive role in peace process during insurgency period in Mizoram has also been analyzed. The paper attempts to provide the readers to acquire basic knowledge with regard to the contribution and role of students in various important issues in pre and post statehood era of Mizoram.

In the Article, Author tries to highlight the Gold Loan Market in India. In India, it is estimated that most of the gold is held by people in rural areas where, often, it is the only asset people have in their possession though in limited quantities. A rural Indian knows that if his crop fails or his family is sick, he can raise cash at short notice from the goldsmith or pawnbrokers and moneylenders. Gold has a formidable part in showcasing Indian customs and traditions. Women richly clad in gold jewellery are a familiar sight in Indian tradition and is a sign of prosperity and well being in a society. Also, in a rich social heritage filled with celebrations and gaiety, gold jewellery was always esteemed and in demand. Gifting of gold on auspicious occasions is also a common tradition in the country. The study is conducted to understand the gold loan market in India and its impact and gold loan and financial inclusion. The study aims at collecting information regarding the nature, character and composition of gold loan business in India, its socioeconomic impact and problems associated with the sector

Image segmentation quality is usually governed by two main parameters associated with a particular segmentation method: threshold selection and seed-point selection. Various methods such as the histogram method, entropy based method, busyness measure methods, etc. are well known for threshold selection in the image segmentation problems. In this thesis, threshold selection is done on the basis of different entropy measures on both grayscale and color images. Study of the Shannon and non-Shannon entropies (Renyi, Havrda-Charvat, Kapur and Vajda) with Otsu Method is done to obtain image segmentation. We classify these methods according to their evaluation criteria viz. PRI (Probabilistic Rand Index), VOI (Variation of Information) and GCE (Global Consistency Error). These underlying metrics and combination methods help in determining the performance of an evaluation measure. It is observed through the simulation experiments performed on images, that the position of the smallest minima obtained in the entropy versus gray-level plot is different for each entropy measure. For a particular definition of the entropy plots are generated and the threshold values obtained from these plots possess the segmentation results. It is observed that Havrda-Charvat entropy measure is better matched with Otsu Method than other entropy measures.

“Sri Mad-Bhagavad Gita” is a universal message from Lord Krishna to this humanity. It is a part of Ancient Indian Samskrit epic “Mahabharata.” It is also considered as a religious document in the Hinduism. It is a sacred document. It gives a complete guideline for personnel and social excellence. In every kind of management, management functions play a vital role. Management functions include Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Decision making, Motivation, Leadership, Budgeting and Controlling. The present paper “Management functions from Sri Mad Bhagavad Gita for excellence” is an attempt to present the various management functions described in Gita. Gita presents a holistic approach towards management functions. Gita presents the concept of inspiration in comparison of motivation. The ethics of management in Gita is altruistic and based on co-operation. Every one has to perform these functions in life. It is only the degree which varies otherwise everyone is a manager in this world. When one follows these functions according to Gita, one can live happily, merrily and stress-free with Excellence.

Trivial safe communications between a random set of network nodes requires each node to keep n - 1 pairwise keys within the situation of symmetrical cryptography and n - 1 people keys within the situation of uneven cryptography where n represents the amount of fret nodes. In the cobweb operation faze, each host finds the hade footway length joined second-hand its hide neighbours by resign simple route requisition. A viable pool for key pre-distribution schemes that's constructed according to symmetrical cryptography concepts contains secret pairwise keys. Within this note, we constrain reference to the mesh bed along the underlay layer and also the cryptographic belt that the overlay course. Our hint option would be really the reply to an LP problem flow by loose all the Boolean constraints within the inventive problem. The effectiveness of our formula is within explanation the Boolean LP trouble with an era complexity not exceeding those of resolve the relaxed LP problem while warrant to recognize the perfect solution. We noted the principal help of our formula as having the capability to solve the perfect routing problem for exact nearly any diagram either directed or misled in addition to weighted or unweighted. evaluating network performance, security, and loss characteristics from the insinuate formula for symmetric and uneven keystone pre-distribution methods operating on the top of on-claim course procedure. In the present study, efforts have been made to analyze selected physico- chemical characteristics of the water bodies of Kulasekaranpattinam, Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, India. The comparative analytical study of both onshore and offshore was conducted for three Months. The study area is geographically located between latitude 8?4?N and longitude 78?06?8? E. It is a very good tourist place. In the Kulasekaranpattinam village there are about 12,010 populations are dwelling. This small fishing village is known for its fishery resources. The fishes were transported to Udangudi and its surrounding area. Physico-chemical characteristics of seawater were assessed through the standard protocol suggested by APHA (2005). Statistical analysis such as single factor ANOVA is performed to the data set to know the relationship among the studied parameters. All the physico- chemical parameters were not showed any significant variations among the parameters within the sites as well as between the sites. pH and nitrate were elevated in the onshore, while the parameters such as turbidity, salinity and phosphate were elevated in the offshore. The study showed the present status of the physico chemical parameters, which is very useful to evaluate the health of the coastal system and also to take regular monitoring to save the coastal environment.

Sambalpur, the hub of western Orissa has permanently registered her name in the glorious chapter of Indian history especially freedom movement of India. During the freedom struggle of Orissa as a whole and undivided Sambalpur district in particular many freedom fighters had participated in the national movements and played a vital role but remained unrecognized and unknown. The freedom movement in Sambalpur passed through three well marked phases. The first phase (1803 -1885) witnessed the foundation of British rule in Orissa and armed resistance of the people against the imposition of new system of Government highly prejudicial to their interest. The second phase (1885-1920) saw the birth of political institutions in the wake of the formation of the Indian National Congress and the radical growth of political awareness among the people. The third phase (1920-1947) is related predominantly to the congress. However, in spite of their dedication and sacrifice in these above movements, they could not occupy a permanent place in the Pages of Sambalpur history and remained unsung and neglected. They should be highlighted and brought to lime light. So, humble attempts have been made to enlighten some of the obscure freedom fighters of Sambalpur in this article.
