The connection between humans and nature is inseparable. The environmental consciousness emerging today is a response to the ecological damage caused by technological developments. Still one can see that in ancient India people showed much respect for the environment in which they survived. Hinduism is a belief that has an ecologically rational theory. The Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Ramayana, and Mahabharata are age-old holy texts that include notes for maintaining an eco-friendly balance and the protection of environment. Man is guided to live in complete harmony with nature. Man is the creation of five components e.g. earth, water, fire, sky, and air. If all five elements are equally balanced the human body remains healthy. Any inequality creates a break down in the body. Despite this, man is influenced by other factors, for example, kind of his diet, water, and climate. Environment awareness is discovered in India right from the Vedic age. In different ancient texts, importance of environment and their conservation have been discussed. Indian saints have always considered the natural powers to be local deities. In 'Bhoomi Sukta' of Atharva Veda and in Yajur Veda it is asked to give respect to environment as gods and goddesses. Purity of water, natural elements mixture, awareness is discussed in Vedic texts. Respect towards trees is depicted in our great epics i.e., Ramayana and Mahabharata. In Puranas, cutting of trees has been described as a punishable offence. The earth has been regarded as the mother. This paper makes a peep into the environmental and ecological awareness in the Ramayana, Mahabharata and the Vedic Period of Ancient India.

The study examines the socio-economic characteristics, health status, and overall well-being of elderly individuals residing in the Waghodia area. With the rapid growth of the aging population in India, this research aims to identify the challenges faced by older adults and provide insights for policy development and community support. A case study design employing a mixed-method approach (quantitative and qualitative) was used. Data were collected from 60 respondents aged 60 and above through structured questionnaires, interviews, and field observations. The study utilized non-probabilistic purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Findings reveal that the majority of the elderly live with their children (55%), reflecting strong intergenerational dependency. However, 13% live alone, raising concerns about social isolation. Financial security varies, with 47% of respondents falling into the middle-income group (INR 1,500-5,000 per month), while a significant proportion relies on pensions or family support. Common health issues include muscular pain (23.3%), diabetes (11.7%), and gastroenteritis (11.7%), with 58.3% describing their health as "partially healthy." Government hospitals serve as the primary healthcare provider (60%), though concerns about overcrowding and quality persist. Physical activities such as yoga (35%) and walking (35%) are popular for mental well-being, while leisure activities like reading, gardening, and socializing contribute to life satisfaction. The study underscores the diverse challenges faced by older adults, including healthcare accessibility, financial dependency, and social isolation. While family support remains crucial, there is a growing need for enhanced healthcare services, financial security programs, and community-based mental health initiatives. Strengthening government policies and local interventions will be vital in ensuring a dignified and fulfilling life for the aging population in Waghodia.

Abstract The way Generation Z (Gen Z) learns, communicates, and succeeds academically has changed dramatically as a result of the digital age. This study investigates the complex relationship between Gen Z learners' digital impacts and academic achievement. Social media, digital collaboration tools, and online learning materials are all more accessible than ever before, and as a result, technology is having an increasing impact on academic performance. Examined are important elements including time management, mental health, digital literacy, and the effect of social comparison on academic motivation. The study also explores the effects of online learning, emphasizing Digital technologies provide personalization and accessibility, but they also increase the risk of burnout and distractions. By highlighting these important factors, this study offers guidance on tactics that parents, legislators, and educators can use to create a positive online learning environment for Generation Z, which will eventually improve their wellbeing and academic performance.it contributes to academic flexibility and engagement.

This research searches the use of ML procedure to forecast Cardiovascular disease, one of the main factor of mortality globally. The study leverages a public dataset containing patient health indicators and employs advanced preprocessing techniques, including SMOTE for addressing class imbalance and feature scaling for normalization. Multiple ML models were trained and evaluated, including Logit model, KNN, RF, Naive Bayes, SVM, & a Voting Classifier. The Voting Classifier exhibit superior performance, emphasizing the potential of ensemble learning methods in predictive healthcare. The results highlight the efficacy of machine learning in providing accurate & scalable diagnostic tools for heart disease prediction.

Partition literature is a complex portrayal of the tragedy of Partition, a difficult moment in Indian history. It combines history, conflict studies, border studies and politics. In Partition literature, the multi-layered dynamics of India's partition are remembered and explored from various perspectives, including its political but also its metaphoric and symbolic significance and implications. Its ultimate purpose is to go beyond and refute the state's homogenised, one-dimensional narrative of India's Partition when necessary. India was split into two parts in 1947, terrible period in world history occurred between India and Pakistan. The severe problem of India and Pakistan's division has always been a long and permanent anguish for both countries inhabitants. Several people have been murdered, kidnapped, displaced, robbed, women have been kidnapped and raped. The traumatic experience of the partition left deep scars on people's minds. For the populations of both countries, the partition of India and Pakistan was a never-ending agony. On the surface, only boundaries were divided but in reality, hearts were divided and the two cultures were divided as well. Thus, despite achieving long-awaited independence after much pain and effort, 1947 proved to be a year of less joy and more sadness. This study analyses the traumatic characteristics of a few Indian English literary Partition novels. An exploration into how these writers depict the people's terrible situation in their partition tales as well as how they blend memories, pangs, sufferings, thoughts, riots and experiences with their past and sense of trauma. The consequences of disaster or crisis on the inner psyche of characters and awareness that demolishes an individual's identity will be investigated in depth in this study.

The use of folktales in language learning has long been recognised as an effective method to enhance linguistic and cultural understanding. Indian folktales, with their rich cultural significance and universal themes, offer an engaging platform for learning English as a second language (ESL). This research paper explores the pedagogical potential of Indian folktales in English language acquisition, highlighting their contributions to vocabulary expansion, grammatical understanding, cultural insights, and narrative skills. The study shows Indian folktales in English as a natural and effective medium for increasing intercultural awareness and English competence by analysing their linguistic and cultural aspects.

Abstract: The Indian higher education system has experienced different regulatory mechanisms since past decades. One of the prime organisations to ensure the quality of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India has been NAAC. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) assesses the performance of Higher Education Institutions in India on different parameters like teaching and learning, innovation, infrastructure, research culture, governance, student support etc. In this study an effort is made to analyse the NAAC status of government provincialized colleges of Dhemaji district of Assam affiliated to Dibrugarh University.
