Soft skills are to be inculcated among the students in higher education. Students learn good habits and good manners at a young age from their parents and teachers in schools and at home. When they come to a higher level of education they have to learn soft skills to get themselves ready to work in a place where there are many people. They must also get ready to get along with their family members. This paper focuses on teaching soft skills through poetry. Two poems - Ode to the West Wind, written by Percy Bysshe Shelley, and If written by Rudyard Kipling are taken into consideration. The authors also compare the poems to the extracts from Thiru Valluvar, the Tamil poet who wrote great lines in his Thirukural.

The rapid rise of cryptocurrency as an alternative investment has garnered significant attention among investors. However, its adoption in Coimbatore remains relatively unexplored. This study aims to analyze investor behavior toward cryptocurrency in Coimbatore by examining their awareness, challenges, and the key factors influencing their investment decisions. The questionnaire comprises 253 variables, with independent variables including risk and return, awareness of technology, trading experience, and behavior towards future growth, while the dependent variable is investment behavior in cryptocurrency. The study employs statistical tools such as ANOVA and regression analysis. The findings indicate that educational qualification significantly impacts the ease of navigating cryptocurrency platforms and the biggest challenges faced by investors. However, it does not significantly influence primary concerns related to cryptocurrency. Regression analysis shows that risk and return, awareness of technology, trading experience, and behavior toward future growth collectively explain 85.9% of investment behavior, while 8.6% remains unexplained by other factors. The study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing cryptocurrency investment and offers recommendations for improving investor confidence and market growth in Coimbatore.

The present study investigates the in-vitro antioxidant potential of the leaf extract of Ficus benghalensis, commonly known as the Banyan tree. The plant is traditionally used in Ayurveda for its medicinal properties, including anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects. In this study, methanolic and aqueous extracts of Ficus benghalensis leaves were evaluated for their free radical scavenging activity using standard antioxidant assays, such as the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging assay, ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)) assay, and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay. Phytochemical screening confirmed the presence of flavonoids, tannins, and phenolic compounds, which are known to contribute to antioxidant activity. The results indicated that the methanolic extract exhibited higher radical scavenging activity compared to the aqueous extract, suggesting a higher concentration of bioactive compounds in organic solvents. The IC50 values obtained for the DPPH and ABTS assays were comparable to those of standard antioxidants like ascorbic acid and quercetin. These findings highlight the potential of Ficus benghalensis leaf extract as a natural antioxidant source, which could be utilized in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations. Further research is recommended to isolate and characterize the active compounds responsible for the observed antioxidant activity.

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in nutraceuticals which offer health advantages and serve as alternatives to conventional medicine. Nutraceuticals consist mainly of nutrients, herbal products, and dietary supplements, which are essential for maintaining health, combating various illnesses, and enhancing quality of life. The rapid expansion, advancements in research, absence of standards, enthusiastic marketing, quality control, and regulatory measures will significantly influence its success or decline. Nutraceutical products arise from collaborative research among the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. As the healthcare sector expands in India, the nutraceutical market is also on the rise as individuals seek to address their health issues by enhancing their wellness through Fast Moving Healthcare Goods. Now, people say "a nutraceutical a day may keep the doctor away," replacing the traditional saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." Consumers are increasingly turning to dietary supplements to boost their health, especially where conventional medicine falls short.

ABSTRACT A pre-experimental study to assess a study to assess the effectiveness of Yoga on Minor Physical Problems Among Antenatal Mothers Attending Antenatal Outpatient Department in Government hospital Sagar. Conceptual framework adopted for this study was general system theory. The research design used in this study was one group pretest, posttest design. The samples were selected by using convenient sampling technique. The sample size consisted of 90 antenatal mothers. The instrument used for the data collection was numerical rating scales to assess the level of low back pain, level of edema, level of leg gramps among antenatal mothers. The interventional strategy consisted of yoga which simple posture to relax, leg folding, leg cross, leg straight leg sideward, chair twisting, Triangle posture, calf stretch sitting on heal exercises. Data was collected for a period of 6 weeks among antenatal mothers. The collected data were analysed by using descriptive statistics (frequency percentage, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics ('t' test and Chi-Square) to test the study hypothesis. Major Study Findings: Regarding to the effectiveness of yoga on minor physical problems among antenatal mothers. The Post test mean value was lower than the pretest mean value regarding low back pain, leg edema, leg gramps among antenatal mothers. The obtained 't' value for low back pain 7.584 was significant at P=0.00 level. The obtained 't' value for leg edema 4.08 was significant at P=0.00 level. The obtained 't' value for leg gramps 4.76 was significant at P=0.00 level. There is no association between effect of yoga on minor physical problem among antenatal mothers with their selected demographic variables. Yoga is becoming increasingly accepted everywhere as part of self-care during pregnancy and preparation for childbirth and motherhood. So, yoga must be taught in the antenatal period and can be practical from early pregnancy.
