 Abstract

Sign language is a crucial medium of communication for the hearing and speech impaired. "Sign Language Detection using Deep Learning and YOLO Models for Real Time Recognition" project focuses on developing a real-time sign language detection system leveraging deep learning techniques. The existing system employs Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and transfer learning with SSD MobileNet V2 for detection, achieving limited accuracy under uncontrolled conditions. The proposed system integrates YOLO (You Only Look Once) models to improve real-time object detection, leveraging its high-speed processing and accuracy. This system identifies hand gestures captured through a webcam and classifies them into predefined sign language categories, enabling seamless interaction between individuals with hearing impairments and the general population.

 Abstract

One of the pillars of the health care system is pharmacovigilance, which involves evaluating, tracking, and identifying drug interactions and human effects. In the practice of drug safety monitoring, a wide range of partners--including industry, hospitals, the government, patients, etc.--have crucial relationships. For pharmacovigilance to advance and thrive, ongoing dedication and cooperation are essential to overcoming upcoming obstacles. Pharmacovigilance is a well-organized activity inside the professional healthcare system that has significant social and commercial implications. Its goal is to identify and track the risk/benefit ratio of medications in order to improve patient safety and quality of life. The foundation of the pharmacovigilance system is the spontaneous reporting of adverse events and ADRs. Physicians, the pharmaceutical industry, and patients are all accountable for preventing harmful medication reactions. Only when healthcare professionals encourage the voluntary reporting of adverse drug reactions will the Pharmacovigilance program yield its full benefits. In order to avoid and lower the incidence of ADR, this step is essential. Drug therapy had a negative impact on several ADRs. The primary causes of adverse drug reactions (ADRs), which are predicted to be much more prevalent in emerging nations, are self-medication and phony or contaminated medications. Improved patient care and medication safety, improved public health and medication safety, and the identification of drug-related problems are the goals of pharmacovigilance. Patients play a critical role in preventing adverse drug reactions by guaranteeing a high degree of adherence to medical advice that can reduce the deadly effects of medications. Modern medications that can successfully prevent, regulate, and treat illness states are now accessible due to the pharmaceutical and medical sciences' rapid and furious expansion.

 Abstract

The concept of sacred sites plays a crucial role in the economy of many countries, particularly in South Asia. Two prominent sacred sites in India, Ayodhya and Rameshwaram, have been chosen for this study to explore the economic and cultural significance of these sites in promoting tourism and temple economics. This paper examines the relationship between tourism, temple economies, and the socio-cultural dynamics of these sacred sites. It seeks to understand how the economic activities surrounding these sites impact their spiritual significance and the communities that depend on them. The study reveals that tourism has transformed the economies of Ayodhya and Rameshwaram, creating new opportunities for local communities. However, it also raises concerns about the commercialization of sacred spaces, cultural homogenization, and the impact on the spiritual experience of pilgrims. The paper argues that temple economies can be harnessed to promote sustainable tourism practices, preserve cultural heritage, and support local communities.

 Abstract

A pacemaker is a small medical device that helps regulate the heartbeat by generating electrical impulses that stimulate the heart to beat. In this work we have presented the techniques of graph theory and developed a model for micro cardiac network system. The sinoatrial node, a cluster of specialized pace making cells in the right atrium of the heart, spontaneously generates an electro-chemical wave that spreads through the atria and the cardiac conduction system to the ventricles, initiating the contraction of cardiac muscle essential for pumping blood to the body. The main concept is to get the blood flow system in human heart with respect to oxygenated and d-oxygenated blood circulation using the network graph theory. The crossing numbers are the most important parameters for obtaining exact results in an electrical circuit represented by a planar graph. This concept may help in blood flow system in human heart. The graph theory and its applications in human heart are presented in this paper. The graph theory and its applications in human heart are presented in this paper. The stereographic projection of a graph is presented with an algorithm in order to improve the performance of the model.

 Abstract

The concepts of economic growth and development are often used interchangeably, despite their distinct implications. Many emerging and underdeveloped nations adopt policies that exert immense pressure on both socio-cultural structures and the environment due to a lack of clarity on what constitutes true development. The trans-Himalayan region of Ladakh has experienced similar challenges, particularly after 1974, when significant shifts in its socio-economic landscape began. The 2010 flash flood in Ladakh, which resulted in the loss of 234 lives and widespread destruction, serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of rapid and unchecked development. Historical events such as the establishment of the Indian Army, the Public Distribution System, and the rise of tourism have shaped Ladakh's trajectory, contributing both to its progress and its vulnerability. This study examines the distinction between growth and development in the context of Ladakh, questioning whether the region's post-1974 transformations can truly be considered development. Furthermore, it highlights the large-scale development measures undertaken after 2010, which may pose future environmental threats. The paper underscores the urgent need for sustainable development policies, particularly in fragile ecosystems like the Himalayan and Trans-Himalayan regions, where development strategies must balance progress with environmental preservation.
