This pilot study explores the role of professional development (PD) in enhancing the work efficiency of primary school teachers in Prayagraj. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of PD programs in improving teaching practices, classroom management, and overall work efficiency. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A survey of 50 primary school teachers was conducted, supplemented by interviews and focus group discussions to gather in-depth insights into teachers' experiences with PD programs. The findings reveal a positive correlation between PD participation and improvements in work efficiency, with 75% of teachers reporting better classroom management and student engagement. The data indicates that continuous PD, including workshops, peer learning, and technology-based training, significantly enhances teacher confidence and instructional quality. However, challenges such as time constraints, lack of resources, and insufficient follow-up support were identified as barriers to the full effectiveness of PD programs. The study concludes that PD plays a vital role in improving the work efficiency of primary school teachers. It recommends that educational authorities in Prayagraj invest in regular, context-specific PD programs, foster peer learning opportunities, and integrate technology-based training. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of providing ongoing support to teachers to ensure the effective implementation of new strategies. Further research is needed to explore the long-term effects of PD and to conduct larger-scale studies in other regions for a broader understanding of its impact.

The research article examines the politicisation of space and ecological elements by exploring Ngugi wa Thiong'o's The River Between (1965), exploring the complex world of cultural conflict in Kenya during colonialism. The action is set among the Gikuyu people's settlement, paying special attention to the surrounding villages of Makuyu and Kameno. The Honia river that separates them is a metaphorical symbol of the widening gap between the traditions of the Gikuyu and the emerging fabric of Christianity. The worlds of the Gikuyu are threatened and torn apart by the struggle and division emerging from the collision of the paradigms. A middle-aged conflict lies at the heart of this movement; a conflict propelled by a young man - Waiyaki - who has it at the back of his mind that he will one day be leading his people. It provides critical insight into the social, communal, and cultural complexities while portraying the representation of nature and the political situation surrounding the Gikuyu community.

Oral literature is the form of literature that has been passed down for generations orally. In those days, there were no scope for writing or in fact obtaining education, which is why the folktales used to be told and passed on from generation to generation orally. There are different types of oral literature. They are folklores, folk songs, repartee (Phumukmung), idioms etc. Folklores are the stories of the past which are shared and passed on by grandparents to their grandchildren or by older generation to younger generation. Folk songs are the songs sung by a particular community since the old days. The main folk song of the Tiprasas is Jaduni. The lyrics of the song are usually about yearning someone, expressing passion or pain. It is a form of expressing one's pain of separation, heartbreak or when someone has madly fallen in love. Idioms are phrases which have double meaning and are spoken in indirect manner. It is a way of expressing one's thoughts. Although, the younger generation or children might not be able to understand this kind of phrases. Repartee (Phumukmung) is a way of giving witty replies to each other between two parties of people in a conversation with sarcasm, humor or in a fun and light manner. These are usually humorous and fun to listen to, especially during the evening hours.

Abstract Tripura is one of the northeastern states of India. On the scale of the geographical area, it appears small but on the aspect of history, culture, and heritage it has a vast sphere. From being ruled by the Kings of the Manikya dynasty to a full-fledged state under the Indian Union it has witnessed a long journey of constitutional transformation. To unearth the royal history, acquaint with the past, and reconstruct the chronology of Tripura, scholars are still heavily dependent on a primary source named, 'Sri Rajmala', a chronicle of the royal family of Tripura. Women played an equally pivotal role along with men in shaping the history of mankind but surprisingly most of the time history remains silent about them. Through this paper, I have attempted to find out about the prominent feminine figures mentioned in the first two volumes of 'Sri Rajmala' who shaped the course of Tripura's history. The fundamental objective of this paper is to know the influential females represented in the the first two volumes of the 'Sri Rajmala' minutely and present their contribution in a systematic synthesis. This paper is also a small initiative for the history enthusiast to see Tripura's history from a different perspective of 'women & history' and to carry out further study and enhance subjective knowledge. In modern recruitment processes, the verification is conducted manually, leading to inefficiencies and potential errors. The proposed solution utilizes by automating the verification of biodata applications and supporting documents by Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) techniques, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to streamline the extraction and validation of information from various documents such as educational certificates and GATE scorecards, which may be in image or PDF formats and in languages other than Hindi or English. Candidates will upload their biodata and documents through a web portal, where a Translation API will assist with language discrepancies. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) will be employed to extract text from these documents, storing the information temporarily for validation. NLP techniques will then process this data to ensure accuracy, while MapReduce models will facilitate rapid processing within three seconds per document. In cases of mismatches, alerts will notify users immediately. Upon successful verification, both the documents and validated user data will be securely stored in a database. This innovative approach aims for high accuracy in data extraction (Three Sigma accuracy) and significantly enhances the efficiency of candidate assessment, ultimately transforming the operational workflow.

This specific research examines the emotional aspect of Arun Ferreira's memoir, The Colours of the Cage by analyzing his terrible second arrest. Imagine how it would feel to have your liberty forcibly taken back after you had tasted it that is what Ferreira went through. This paper examines his psychological and emotional reactions to this unfair treatment, revealing the intricate inter- play between fear, hopelessness and resistance he underwent on being thrust into incarceration again. A closer look at how Ferreira portrays this tumultuous period will not only help us understand his personal struggle but also its wider implications in terms of human suffering caused by systematic oppression. The writer uses this experience to provide insight into the psychological impacts of human rights violations.
