The Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) is a critical durability issue in Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC), potentially compromising its exceptional mechanical properties and long-term performance. UHPC has emerged as a strong competitor to Normal Strength Concrete (NSC) in several building industries. This research examines the effects of ASR on UHPC, and its fiber-reinforced versions (UHPFRC) compared with NSC. Mechanical properties, including compressive, flexural, and split tensile strength, were assessed over varying curing periods (7, 14, 28, 56, 90, and 180 days) to analyze the influence of ASR. The study highlights the role of fiber reinforcement and optimized mix designs in enhancing resistance to ASR-induced damage. Mixtures of recycled steel fibers, raw slag (RS), and untreated coal ash (CA) were developed for use in sustainable UHPCs. Accelerated ASR conditions (per ASTM C1260) and conventional water curing were both applied to the specimens during the curing process. In addition, they compare the mechanical strength of UHPFRC and NSC over curing periods of 28, 56, and 90 days, focusing on the effects of ASR and water curing. The results demonstrated that the incorporation of fibers, particularly steel fibers, significantly enhanced the mechanical properties of UHPC, including higher CS and FS, while reducing the risk of crack propagation and improving overall durability. The comparison with NSC further underscored the advantages of UHPC and UHPFRC, which consistently outperformed NSC across all strength categories, with CS reaching up to 161MPa at 90 days compared to the maximum 37.8MPa for NSC.

Rasashastra is a special branch of Ayurveda which deals with processing of mercury and making it therapeutically absorbable in the body. The act of imbibing definite therapeutic properties in purified mercury through various pharmaceutical procedures is known as Murcchana. Arogya Vardhini Gutika Rasa is a Khalviya Rasayana Yoga explained in the Rasaratna Samucchaya, Kushta Rogadhikara. Pottali Kalpana is a consolidated form of mercurial preparation which incorporates the Pota Bandha of Parada. Pottali is also type of Parada Murcchana where processing of mineral and herbal drugs is done using Gandhaka Drava Paka. Hence an attempt is being made to do pharmaceutical study of Arogya Vardhini Gutika Rasa and modify it into Pottali and conduct its analytical study. The ratio of the ingredients and Bhavana Dravya were according to classical reference and out of 18g of Kalka, we obtained 8g of Pottali. Gandhaka or sulphur helps in forming a hard compact mass of the medicine which is more stable and difficult to break, thus preventing loss/leakage of medicine and its efficacy. There was considerable decrease in loss on drying from Gutika to Pottali which denoted that Pottali may have more shelf-life. Pottali may be having faster action as the Sukshma Churna obtained by rubbing Pottali has faster absorption compared to Gutika. Hardness of the Pottali is more compared to the Gutika which suggest that Pottali is more stable compared to Gutika. As Arogya Vardhini Rasa is prescribed as Rasayana for longer duration, Pottali form can be a better dosage form compared to Gutika/Vati.

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the ( natural) herbal cosmetic producte like- cold creams by using plant extracts containing aloe-vera and other extracts the cold cream was prepared by using water-in-oil method. The creams showed good consistency, spreading ability, pH, and no significant changes in physical properties. the emulsion slow evaporation of water was found to be cooling and sooting. The cold creams were also found to be physico-chemically, mechanically, and microbiologically stable, with characteristics of a standard cosmeceutical formulation for skincare. The study concluded that these cold creams were a good attempt to incorporate naturally available ingredients like almond and were safe for public and societal use. Pharmaceutical cold creams are used for various functions, such as hydrating, makeup remover, beauty enhancer and also help in improvement appearance.

Ensuring safety in commercial, industrial, and residential settings requires efficient gas leak detection. With the help of the MQ-2 gas sensor and the ESP32 microcontroller, this study presents a novel Internet of Things-based gas monitoring system that provides real-time detection and alerting. When gas levels above specified safety limits, the system initiates multi-layered alerts via visible indications (LEDs), aural warnings (buzzers), and remote notifications using Twilio's SMS and phone services. Accessible through an intuitive website, gas measurements and history data are safely kept in a Firebase database. This interface offers historical trends, real-time PPM readings, and a sophisticated analytics dashboard with machine learning (ML) models for proactive safety monitoring. AI/ML integration improves the system's capabilities by anticipating dangerous situations based on past data, allowing proactive action.

The present study investigates the relationship between emotional regulation strategies and life satisfaction among homemakers from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. The primary aim is to examine the effects of two key emotional regulation strategies, such as emotional suppression and cognitive reappraisal, on life satisfaction. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a sample of 200 homemakers selected through random sampling to ensure the representation of individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Participants completed the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). Descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation, were calculated for emotional suppression, cognitive reappraisal, and life satisfaction scores. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to assess the relationship between these variables. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between emotional regulation strategies and life satisfaction (r = 0.21) and statistically significant (p = 0.001967, ? = 0.05), suggesting that effective emotional regulation may enhance life satisfaction among homemakers in lower socioeconomic settings. Future research could investigate how various factors influence the connection between emotional regulation and life satisfaction. Additionally, intervention studies aimed at strengthening cognitive reappraisal skills could be designed and evaluated, as such programs may enhance emotional well-being and overall life satisfaction within this target group.

This study examines on Junagadh's women investment habits. The study examine women's awareness of and preferences for investing as well as the impact of various demographic elements such as age, marital status, income, employment type, and other people's perceptions of one's investment style. It also shows the respondents' return and percentage of total income invested. It may be inferred from the study that respondents do not like to put a sizable portion of their assets in a single investment and that they would rather invest in safe options such as gold, provident funds, bank and post office deposits, and so on. Additionally, it has been discovered that the demographic variables taken into account include have little bearing on the investment habits of women. Consequently, it may be concluded that women make independent, logical investing decisions.
