Internet of Things is one of the major revolutions of Internet in the recent years. Internet of Things; abbreviated as IoT; is a drastic move from a human centric network; to a network where more devices are connected to the Internet; than human beings. IoT is a new trend in connectivity which is outside the realm of laptops and smartphones. IoT is a recent communication paradigm in which the items of everyday life are embedded with micro-controllers, transceivers for digital communication, and with suitable protocol stacks that allow them to communicate with one another and also with the humans. These networks connected items or devices use unique addressing schemes and are smart enough to share information with human, with the cloud-based applications and with each other as device to device communication; hence automating our tasks by lessening efforts to almost zero and providing us with exciting possibilities for better lives. It is estimated that in near future, the number of things are going to be many; and number of internet of things that are going to be connected; are also going to be many. This explosion in the number of these connected smart devices and things to the Internet will lead to a fundamental problem of address crunch where the number of addresses that could be assigned to each of these devices would run out. So, the current Internet Protocol; Internet Protocol version 4; IPv4; is definitely not a good solution. This situation leads to the invention and migration to a new Internet Protocol named Internet Protocol version 6; IPv6; which will provide almost unlimited number of IP addresses and would be a must requirement for the success of Internet of Things. This paper discusses an immaculate solution and driving force behind IoT; namely; IPv6. Paper also focuses on how IOT is providing us exciting possibilities for better lives.

Accurate solar power generation forecasting is crucial for optimizing the integration of renewable energy into power grids, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and enhancing energy sustainability. This research explores advanced machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models, focusing on long short-term memory (LSTM), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) algorithms, to predict solar energy output accurately. Leveraging a dataset comprising historical solar irradiance, temperature, and power generation data, the study develops a robust pipeline incorporating data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model optimization. Key innovations include implementing synthetic data generation for augmenting training datasets and optimizing hyperparameters for superior performance. Evaluation of models is conducted using root mean square error (RMSE) and mean absolute deviation (MAD) metrics, demonstrating the efficacy of ML and DL-based approaches in capturing dynamic environmental dependencies. The findings underscore the potential of these methodologies for real-time solar energy forecasting and integration into energy management systems

Dimapur is located in the southwest corner of Nagaland, with the Dhansiri River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River, flowing east of the city. The majority of the area is flat, making it prone to various natural disasters. Summers in Dimapur are characterized by hot and humid weather, while winters tend to be relatively cold. According to a report from the Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services, there were 878 fire incidents reported between 2013 and 2020, resulting in the loss of 13 lives. Unfortunately, there have been several fire accidents in Dimapur in 2021-2024, leading to devastating consequences such as the destruction of homes, loss of valuable property and cash, injuries, and the misplacement of important documents. Fire disasters are among the most common emergencies faced in Nagaland, alongside earthquakes, floods, and landslides. The Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services are working diligently to safeguard lives and property from such disasters, even as urbanization continues to expand in towns like Kohima and Dimapur. In response to the increasing frequency of fire incidents, the Department has submitted a proposal to the government, urging the inclusion of fire disaster prevention measures in the Kohima Smart City Plan. While the department and firefighters are prepared to respond to fire emergencies, it is crucial to assess the readiness of the public, families, and children in handling such crises. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to examine the level of preparedness among families with children in the event of a fire disaster. It is essential to ensure that all members of the community are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively respond to and mitigate the impact of fire emergencies.

The use of natural, environmentally friendly fibers as reinforcement in the production of lightweight, low-effort polymer composites is continuously growing on a global scale. One such material of interest presently being broadly utilized is basalt fiber, which is savvy and offers uncommon properties over glass fibers. The conspicuous focal points of these composites incorporate high specific mechanic-physicochemical properties, biodegradability, and non-grating characteristics to give some examples. This study presents a survey of basalt fibers utilized as a reinforcement material for composites names as basalt fibre reinforced concrete (BFRC). The study also discusses the influence of curing on the strength of concrete. Separated from this, an endeavor to grandstand the expanding pattern in research distributions and action in the territory of basalt fibers are also covered. Further segments talk about the improvement in mechanical, warm and synthetic safe properties accomplished for applications in specific enterprises. The results of this study reveal that the optimum value of strength is obtained for a mix made with 1% of chopped basalt fiber 50% 6mm Long BFR and 50% 12mm Long BFRC.

Extinct earthquakes events demonstrate that, a building with irregularity is vulnerable to earthquake damages. So as it's essential to spot the seismic response of the structure even in high seismic zones to cut back the seismic damages in buildings When constructing a steel building on sloping ground, the angle of the slope can significantly impact the design, construction, and overall feasibility of the project. Buildings situated in hilly areas more seismically vulnerable due to irregular configuration in both horizontal and vertical directions. . In present study, the structure is totally commercial building. The structure is examined for seismic zone III and soil condition is hard consider. The structure is compared the sloping ground and plain ground and also with and with-out bracing system. The different model is done on STAAD.pro software. Some model is analysis on plain ground and sloping ground with-out Bracing system and some model is analysis on plain ground and sloping ground with- Bracing System. The different slope is 10-degree, 20-degree and 30- degree is considered while analysis. The bracing is considered at outer peripherals and at Centre of core. The Models are analysis for various aspects like Story Displacement, Storey overturning moment, Storey Drift, Lateral Displacement, etc. In this research P-delta is not Consider.
