Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder of proteins, fats and carbohydrate, affecting a large number of world population in the world Diabetes mellitus is known as a group of chronic metabolic diseases characterized by rise in blood glucose level due to defects in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. Women play a significant role in the history of humankind. However, their valuable contributions to the society have not been recognised and are looked upon as inferior to that of men. They are always treated as second to men and not as equal. The society has restricted them to certain roles within the domestic sphere. There are various myths and legends knitted around women in the society whereby they are projected as inferior and men as superior. The rise of feminist movements through the various waves in the late 19th century and the 20th century has paved the way for women to break the shackles of stereotypes and demand for equal rights as of their male counterparts. The feminist tries to re-evaluate gender inequality in the society. It is a common belief that only the women in the patriarchal society face such subordination by men and the society and not the women of the matrilineal society. However, at close observance we will find that even in a matrilineal society the rights enjoy by women are limited and they are often enclosed to a limited space of expression. Many literary expressions have attempted to portray this marginalisation of women even in a matrilineal society. Their experiences seem no different to the women in rest of the patriarchal society. She is treated as a passive receiver of the male dominated society. This paper aims at exposing the marginalising of women in a matrilineal society of the khasis through the feminist interpretation of the two khasi novels, KamKalbut and ka Jingieit ba Nylla. Since literature is the reflection of the society, the analysis of the position of women in the two novels will give us an insight into the understanding of their status in the society and help us to evaluate the gender equality that is present in politics, society, family, religion etc.

The conventional oral dosage forms has significant drawbacks of poor bioavailability due to hepatic first pass metabolism and tendency to produce rapid blood level spikes (Both high and low), leading to a need for high and/or frequent dosing, which can be both cost prohibitive and inconvenient. To improve such characters transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS) was emerged which will improve the therapeutic efficacy and safety of drugs by more precise (i.e. site specific) placement within the body thereby reducing both the size and number of doses. TDDS is such a mode of delivery which has been explored extensively over the last 25 years, with therapeutic success. TDDS is ideally suited for diseases that demand chronic treatment. Topical administration of drugs offers many advantages over conventional oral dosage form. Important advantages of TDDS are limitation of hepatic metabolism, enhancement of therapeutic efficiency and maintenance of steady plasma level of the drug. Keywords: Transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS), Bioavailability, Hepatic first pass metabolism, therapeutic efficacy.

An expense ratio shows how much a financial institution costs investors to manage a portfolio, mutual fund, or exchange-traded fund (ETF). The ratio shows the fund's total management and operating costs. The expense ratio is derived by dividing the operational expenditures of a mutual fund by the total dollar value of all the assets in the fund. Expense ratios can be found in every fund's prospectus and on numerous financial websites. The annual maintenance charge levied by mutual funds to pay their expenses is known as the expense ratio. It covers the fund's annual running expenditures, including as management fees, allocation charges, and promotional costs. The value of an expense ratio is determined by the mutual fund's size. A fund with a smaller pool of financial resources must devote a percentage of its resources to effective management. As a result, the relative worth of the expenses in relation to the overall amount of funds available rises.

Aim & Objective - This study was designed to compare the antiemetic efficacy of Ondansetron, Dexamethasone and combination of both (Ondansetron & Dexamethasone) for reducing PONV and to assess advantage of one drug over the other. Material and Method - A total of 270 patients of age Group 18 to 65 years, with ASA I and II, scheduled for open cholecystectomy under spinal anesthesia , They were divided into 3 Groups i.e. Group O, Group D & Group O + D. Frequency of Retching, Nausea & Vomiting, need of another drug and patients satisfaction were noted for next 24 hours . Result - The incidence of nausea and vomiting was highest in Group O i.e., 87%, in Group D it is 70% and in Group O+D it is 10% during Intraoperative period (0-1 hr), incidence of nausea and vomiting was less in 1-6 hour period as compared to 0-1 hr. Incidence of nausea and vomiting was high in intra-operative period in both the Groups (Group O and Group D) as compared to Group O+D and it was statistically significant (p<0.05). On comparing with Group O & Group O+D it was statistically significant (p<0.005). Conclusion - Combination of Ondansetron and Dexamethasone are very effective for PONV, and have great patient satisfaction.

Abstract- PCOS is a diverse endocrine condition with a varied prevalence that affects roughly one in every 15 women throughout the world. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is diagnosed when at least two of the following criteria are metoligoovulation or anovulation, clinical or biochemical evidence of hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovary shape. PCOS appears to increase the risk of metabolic disorders, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease in women. The purpose of this paper was to give a review of articles relevant to polycystic ovaries, including pathogenesis, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment features, as well as its relationship with ardiovascular and arterial hypertension diseases, utilising the databases Pubmed and Scielo.

The extremes of Climate post challenge to the building elements, Building Skin or Building Envelope has to face the Brunt to the most. Thus, its design and treatment for better thermal performance is extremely significant in the present scenario of energy deficiency. By designing envelope according to the climate, making suitable material choices, fenestration and shading devices sizes, the load on the mechanical heating and cooling can be reduced

COVID-19 has created turmoil in our lives. Lockdown, closure of schools and physical distance, all these are having a deep impact on all of us. The parents give birth to the child. No one can take their place, we cannot repay their debt in any form. Teacher is given equal status as parents in our Indian culture as it is the teacher who makes us worthy to live in the society. That is why the teacher is called the architect of the society. Guru or teacher is not only concerned with giving education to the student, but he guides his student at every turn and is always ready to take his hand. A teacher is a person who sets high ideals in the society. Education has an important role in the building of any country or society, if said, teacher is the mirror of the society. In Hinduism, it has been said for the teacher that Acharya Devo Bhavah means that the teacher or Acharya is equal to God. This status is given to a teacher in return for the contributions he has made to the society. The status of teacher has always been revered in the society. Some call him Guru, some call him teacher, some call him Acharya, some say teacher or teacher, all these words portray a person who gives knowledge to all, teaches and whose contribution to any country or country. To build the future of the nation. In true words, a teacher creates the life of his student. And teacher is the cornerstone of the society. A teacher plays the role of a guide till the end of his life and keeps showing the way to the society, only then the teacher is given a high status in the society. COVID 19 has affected the life of teachers adversely.

Suppose there are 3 persons in a society, with one having Re.1, and, he buys something from another person, a good, with that rupee. The cost of production to the second person is nil. Suppose the second person buys something (i.e. a good) with that rupee from the third person, , to whom also the cost of production is nil . Again, the third person buys something for Re.1 from the first person to whom the cost of production is nil. Notice we had one rupee in our hand but our GNP has become Rs.3. It proves that, in a society where there is no deficit financing, the more we use the money in money supply, the more will be our GNP. With the help of this theory, we can solve all problems of financing a project where there is dearth of money, but unexploited resources, increase exports and imports, wipe out recession in an economy.
