HPV is responsible for causing around 90% of anal and cervical cancer, approximately 70% of vaginal and vulval cancer, and over 60% of penile cancer. [1] HPV type 16 and 18 are responsible for about 50% of high grade cervical pre-cancers.[3] In India, cancer of cervix is a significant public health problem, but there are effective and safe vaccines available for HPV-naive women.[4] But the vaccines have not achieved widespread acceptance. Healthcare practitioners since time immemorial, have a pivotal role to spread awareness among the masses regarding health, diseases and vaccinations [6]. The community of patients, and the layman as well, trusts and have faith in the advice, suggestions, and recommendations of the healthcare practitioner. So, in order to improve HPV vaccine coverage in India, it is fundamental that the healthcare practitioners should address, recommend and encourage the parents of all adolescent girls to get their daughters vaccinated against cervical cancer. This is a mixed-method study conducted to assess healthcare practitioners' attitudes and perceptions towards advocating HPV vaccination to parents of adolescent girls and to understand the barriers perceived by them against the uptake of HPV vaccination. The study found that all healthcare practitioners were knowledgeable about HPV vaccination and its contraindications, with the majority advocating the vaccine to adolescent girls or their parents. Most practitioners suggested administering the vaccine at age 9 years or above, with some advocating it at 11 years or above. About 81% of adolescent girls or their parents showed interest in getting vaccinated, but high costs and lack of awareness about the vaccine for HPV were the main barriers to its uptake among adolescent girls.

The dynamic nature of diseases requires flexible approaches to health and treatment, especially for emerging conditions like amoebic meningitis caused by Naegleria fowleri. This article explores the Ayurvedic concept of Anuktha vyadhi (unspecified diseases), which accommodates the evolution of new diseases through principles derived from texts such as Charaka Samhita and Susrutha Samhita. Ayurvedic frameworks like Adidesha and Arthapatti1 enable the adaptation of classical principles to modern pathologies. Amoebic meningitis, or Primary Amoebic Meningoencephalitis (PAM)2 , is a rare and fatal brain infection often contracted through exposure to warm freshwater contaminated with N. fowleri. Its rapid progression from fever and meningismus to seizures and coma, coupled with a high mortality rate, underscores the urgency of exploring both modern and traditional approaches to understanding and managing this disease. Modern diagnostic techniques, such as CSF analysis and PCR, alongside antifungal therapies, are highlighted for their clinical relevance. The article draws a conceptual parallel between Primary amoebic meningoencephalitis and Ayurvedic conditions like Shleepada and Mastishka jwara, emphasizing similarities in symptoms, causative factors and pathogenesis. Ayurvedic principles such as the involvement of aggravated Kapha and Pitta, explain the inflammation and obstruction observed in PAM. Additionally, the Shleepada nidana in Ayurvedic texts closely aligns with the environmental risk factors for PAM, such as exposure to stagnant or contaminated water. Treatment considerations in Ayurveda, including Sira vyadha and Roga-Rogi pareeksha (disease and patient examination), are discussed as potential complementary approaches. By integrating insights from Ayurveda with modern medical practices, this article advocates for a holistic understanding of rare and emerging diseases like amoebic meningitis, bridging ancient wisdom and contemporary science.

A new efficient procedure for the synthesis of 9(2-chlorophenyl aridine) under microwave irradiation and derivatives were characterized by different spectral technique IR and NMR spectroscopy. Reactions proceed with very good to excellent yield at room temperature. Further were screened for their in vitro antibacterial activities against pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella typhi, Proteus vulgari, Klebsiella pneumonia, E. Escherichia, Shigella Flexner (gram -ve) and Staphylococcus area (gram +ve) bacteria by using agar-agar well diffusion meth- od. The results were evaluated after 24 hour of incubation. Chloro-substituted compounds showed antibacterial activity values in the low microbial range.

Digital is growing, print is declining. By the time the standard newspaper lands at the front door the next morning, the headlines have already been covered online by multiple digital media outlets. The rustle of turning pages, the inky scent of fresh print-these are sensory hallmarks of the traditional newspaper. The best qualities of a printed newspaper is its tangibility, credibility and trustworthiness. The fate of newspapers in the present era is a topic of much debate and speculation. In the age of instant information, a question arises: Are newspapers destined to become relics of bygone era, eclipsed by the vibrant glow of online news sources? Reasons for the decline of print includes rising costs, declining advertising revenue, reduced readership etc. But we cannot conclude by saying that print is useless because the future of newspapers is likely to be a hybrid model that combines print and digital elements. Some potential scenarios for the future newspapers include niche publications, community newspapers, digital-first approach. While Print newspapers are facing challenges due to the rise of digital media, they are not entirely obsolete. They continue to hold a special place in our hearts and minds. In conclusion, Print is not useless, but it's USP isn't as strong as that of Digital journalism.

Osteoarthritis also known as degenerative joint diseases .Osteoarthritis of knee commonly known as wear and tear arthritis because the natural cushioning between joints and cartilage wear away. Due to this, the bones of the joints rub more closely against each other, so the shock absorbing benefits of cartilage is lost in a great way and progressively it may lead to disability. It is believed to be the fourth leading cause of disability in the world. The prevalence of Osteoarthritis rises strikingly with age as it is weigt bearing joint. Osteoarthritis is uncommon before the age of 40 and highly prevalent over the age of 60.Therefore it is most common in elderly. It is more common in women than in men. It is also common in persons who are involved in physical labour.

Abstract: Fabric waste has become a pressing environmental concern, with the global fashion industry contributing significantly to the problem. Patchwork, a time-honoured craft, offers a creative and sustainable solution to fabric waste. This paper explores the historical roots of patchwork, its evolution in fashion, and its potential as a sustainable practice in modern textile production. By examining case studies and current practices, we aim to establish patchwork as a viable strategy for reducing fabric waste and promoting sustainable fashion. By exploring its formal beauty and use in women's clothing design, the research provides innovative ideas for advancing sustainability and artistic expression in the textile industry.
