Bankim Chandra Chatterjee's Anandmath (1882), a significant literary work of 19th-century Bengali literature, is often regarded as a crucial text in the intellectual and cultural development of modern India. The novel is set against the backdrop of the 1770s, during the time of the British colonial rule in India. It portrays the emergence of a nationalist movement and reflects the socio-political landscape of India under British oppression. This paper explores the politics of identity in Anandmath, focusing on the construction of Hindu identity and its role in the Indian struggle for independence. By examining themes such as religious identity, cultural nationalism, and the role of myth, the paper argues that Chatterjee's work played a pivotal role in shaping the political discourse around identity in the Indian independence movement.

Asymmetric catalysis stands at the forefront of modern chemistry, serving as a cornerstone for the efficient creation of enantiopure chiral molecules characterized by their high selectivity. In this review, we delve into the realm of asymmetric catalytic reactions, which spans various methodologies, each contributing to the broader landscape of the enantioselective synthesis of chiral molecules. Transition metals play a central role as catalysts for a wide range of transformations with chiral ligands such as phosphines, N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), etc., facilitating the formation of chiral C-C and C-X bonds, enabling precise control over stereochemistry. Enantioselective photocatalytic reactions leverage the power of light as a driving force for the synthesis of chiral molecules. Asymmetric electrocatalysis has emerged as a sustainable approach, being both atom-efficient and environmentally friendly, while offering a versatile toolkit for enantioselective reductions and oxidations. Biocatalysis relies on nature's most efficient catalysts, i.e., enzymes, to provide exquisite selectivity, as well as a high tolerance for diverse functional groups under mild conditions. Thus, enzymatic optical resolution, kinetic resolution and dynamic kinetic resolution have revolutionized the production of enantiopure compounds. Enantioselective organocatalysis uses metal-free organocatalysts, consisting of modular chiral phosphorus, sulfur and nitrogen components, facilitating remarkably efficient and diverse enantioselective transformations. Additionally, unlocking traditionally unreactive C-H bonds through selective functionalization has expanded the arsenal of catalytic asymmetric synthesis, enabling the efficient and atom-economical construction of enantiopure chiral molecules. Incorporating flow chemistry into asymmetric catalysis has been transformative, as continuous flow systems provide precise control over reaction conditions, enhancing the efficiency and facilitating optimization. Researchers are increasingly adopting hybrid approaches that combine multiple strategies synergistically to tackle complex synthetic challenges. This convergence holds great promise, propelling the field of asymmetric catalysis forward and facilitating the efficient construction of complex molecules in enantiopure form. As these methodologies evolve and complement one another, they push the boundaries of what can be accomplished in catalytic asymmetric synthesis, leading to the discovery of novel, highly selective transformations which may lead to groundbreaking applications across various industries

This research paper examines the complex interplay between Herman Melville's sharp critique of anthropocentric ideologies and his palatable advocacy for post-humanist perspectives in Moby Dick. Anthropocentrism is chiefly a worldview that places humans at the center of existence, asserting human dominance and hubris over nature and other non-human entities. Per contra, posthumanism reinforces the interconnectivity and equity of all living beings, which dismisses human exceptionalism. Rather than leaving his work any simpler, Melville has significantly blended these aspects, making Moby-Dick a more rigorous fiction that confronts the anthropocentric mindset of his time--an era that witnessed the rise of modernity--while still remaining relevant to contemporary human-nature conundrum. Through an eco-critical analysis of the novel's plot and its dynamic characters, this paper will reinterpret Moby Dick as an early post-humanist manifesto, urging for a strong re-evaluation of humanity's place in this vast world.

The floating drug delivery system or hydrodynamically balanced systems are among the several approaches that have been made developed in order to increase the gastric transit time of drug. The microspheres are characteristically free flowing powders consisting of natural or synthetic polymers and ideally having a particle size less than 200?m. Microspheres incorporating a drug dispersed or dissolved throughout particle matrix have the potential for the controlled release of drug.1 Microspheres are one of the multiarticulate delivery system and are prepared to obtain controlled the drug release from the dosage form to improve bioavailability, reduces the adverse action and prolong the action of drug, reduce absorption difference in patients, reduce the dosing frequency and adverse effects during prolong treatment. It is needed to formulate in long-acting dosage form, reaching to effective biological site rapidly.2,3 Famotidine is H2 receptor antagonist which is used for ulcers thus by formulating it in the form of floating microspheres it will not only show targeted action but also shows sustainability and reduced dosing interval. Thus, by formulating it as a floating microsphere the targeted action can be achieved. Famotidine is formulated as floating microspheres by Solvent evaporation method is the preparation technique that is widely preferred for the preparation of controlled release microspheres. To prepare emulsion by adding the dispersed phase consisting of drug, polymer and appropriate dispersion agent in organic solvent to dispersion medium which is immiscible with the dispersed phase and Mini matrix forms are obtained by removing the solvent used at the dispersed phase from the droplets which are formed in the emulsion5, 6.The obtained microspheres of famotidine were subjected to various analytical techniques like Particle size analysis, SEM analysis, invitro dissolution studies and stability studies.

Empowerment of women is said to be a day dream unless there is proper opportunity for their education. A society can achieve holistic development only when education is equally accessible to both men and women. Higher Education helps the women not only in gaining knowledge but also enables her to earn a living. Money is a necessity in maintaining life and education helps in preserving life. An educated woman plays an important role in a family, dealing with both health care and financial support to the family. As primary caregivers, educated mothers said to have significant impact on children development, nurturing educated families that contribute to societal progress. The paper highlights how women's participation in academia not only enhances their personal growth but also encourages collective upliftment within communities. This study explores the critical role of women in higher education within Barak Valley region of Assam, their presence in academia which tend to reveal the link they have particularly in improving livelihood and social transformation in general.

This paper presents a deep learning approach to detect and classify brain tumors using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). The study leverages brain MRI scans, a non-invasive imaging technique, to detect abnormalities in the brain, which may indicate the presence of a tumor. A CNN-based model is proposed to automatically classify brain images into categories such as glioma, meningioma, and no tumor. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CNN model achieves a high classification accuracy, outperforming traditional methods. This approach significantly reduces the need for manual analysis, providing faster and more reliable results for early diagnosis.
