The allure of yoga's physical practice, or asana, has been the primary reason for its popularity in the West during the past 50 years. The majority of us are familiar with a particular kind of yoga that places a strong emphasis on asana practice. India is the birthplace of yoga, a spiritual science of self-realization that dates back thousands of years. Abstract: The study was conducted in the selected teaching institutions at Vijayapur. The design selected for the study was one group pre-test and post-test , pre-experimental design. Convenient sampling technique was used and the sample consisted of 40 perimenopausal women aged between 40-50 years. The soya milk was administered to 40 perimenopausal women in the teaching institutions, following inclusion and exclusion criteria. The assessment of severity of menopausal symptoms was done by Menopause Rating Scale and is followed by administration of soya milk and the effect of soya milk is found out by using Menopause Rating Scale after weeks of administration. Results and interpretation The menopausal symptom score was high in the pre-test than in the post-test. Mean pre-test menopause symptom score wsas 23.7 and mean post-test menopausal symptom score was 16.43 which is significantly less at p-value 0.0001.Findings of the study indicated soya milk has an effect on menopausal symptoms among perimenopausal women. There was no significant association menopausal symptoms and selected demographic variables such as age, education, occupation, type of diet, nature of bleeding, age of menarche and family history of attainment of menopause.  Abstract

The effect of stress and anxiety on post-operative wound healing, has not been well studied. Anxiety and stress have greater impact on wound healing. This correlated to the dental treatments. The negative experiences in the previous dental treatment can also affect the stress and anxiety levels. Stress and anxiety usually affect the daily routine, including dental treatments such as tooth extraction which induces anxiety level more when compared to other treatments.

 Abstract

Menstrual Health Management (MHM) remains a crucial determinant of public health and gender equality within higher education. Despite increasing policy related to menstrual health, persistent barriers such as stigma, misinformation, and inadequate facilities continue to constrain effective management of menstruation among students in India. This study critically examines the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of female students toward MHM at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad. Employing a structured KAP framework and a descriptive cross-sectional design, data were collected from 200 students across diverse academic programmes and analyzed using descriptive and thematic methods. Findings reveal that while 78% of respondents' demonstrated moderate knowledge of menstruation, 15% was highly informed, and 7% low. Although 79% perceived it as a natural biological process, misconceptions regarding diet, exercise, and social participation persist. Approximately 68% used sanitary pads, 8% menstrual cups, and 5% tampons, whereas 41% reported absenteeism linked to pain, stigma, or lack of facilities. The study underscores institutional inadequacies, gender-sensitive policies, awareness initiatives, and improved infrastructure to enhance menstrual dignity, reproductive rights, and gender equality.
