This paper reports experimental data of the isobaric vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) for the mixture methyl acetate + ethanol at 0.3 and 0.7 MPa, determined using a copper still ebulliometer. The activity coefficients obtained from the experimental data were correlated by using different thermodynamic mathematical models. All the binary systems show a positive consistency when subjected to the point-to-point test of Van Ness. The prediction of VLE data obtained with the UNIFAC and ASOG methods has been verified with experimental data.

Forecasting plays a vital role in helping organizations anticipate future demand and optimize decision-making processes. Classical statistical forecasting techniques continue to form the foundation of quantitative analysis within management education, particularly for students beginning their study of analytical methods. This paper presents a comparative evaluation of three fundamental forecasting models: Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Exponential Smoothing (ES), and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR). A simulated monthly demand dataset is used to illustrate the application of each model under controlled conditions. The study includes a review of key forecasting literature, theoretical underpinnings of the models, detailed methodology, and accuracy evaluation using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE). Results show that Holt's Exponential Smoothing performs best for datasets with stable linear trends, followed by ARIMA, while regression captures the deterministic trend but is less responsive to random variations. Simple Exponential Smoothing performs weakest due to structural limitations. The study reinforces the importance of selecting forecasting models that match data characteristics and highlights the continued relevance of classical statistical techniques for introductory management and analytics education.

The state of West Bengal faces a unique educational challenge defined by high rural school enrollment ratios combined with the urgent mandate of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This context necessitates the adoption of pedagogical solutions that are not only equitable but also scalable and efficient. The historical model of inclusion, exemplified by programs such as the Inclusion of Disabled at Secondary Stage (IEDSS), focused primarily on specific support for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) to ensure they complete four years of secondary schooling. While crucial, this approach is fundamentally reactive and operates within a deficit model.

The film 'Victoria and Abdul' is about a burning discontent in the royal household of Queen Victoria - the epicenter of the Empire's colonial enterprise. The Queen of Great Britain mixes with a brown Indian Muslim servant by the name of Abdul Karim. An Indian waiter turns into the Queen's Munshi, the Queen's teacher and official Indian clerk in the span of a year. While Bertie, the future King Edward VII and the other members of the household, along with the director Stephen Ferars, perceive it as an unusual, rather a scandalous relationship of love and friendship, one that shakes up the very foundation of monarchy, it calls for a careful look to see that the nature of this relationship is not quite what it appears. What Frears recreates out of Shrabani Basu's account is a story imbued with strong overtones of love that definitely is not platonic by any chance, if not bordering on the sexual. But even a contemporary film like this glosses over the complex ramifications of this situation and chooses to tell a story of "History's most unlikely friendship" weaving an emotionally charged tale of love and affection. This paper will explore the nuances and intricacies of this relationship between Queen Victoria and her Indian servant and argue that it is more a case of 'pathological narcissism' that only helps the monarch redefine herself as 'The Empress of India', her recently acquired title. I would refer to Lacan's psychoanalytic concept of the mirror stage and the formation of the ego to analyse the nature of objectification and representation of Karim. In the light of Abdul R. Jan Mohamed's classification of 'imaginary' and 'symbolic' texts, the paper would also like to analyse whether the film, which seems to hint at a syncretism between the native and his ruler, can therefore may be categorized as a 'symbolic' text.

The study assesses Gandhi's philosophy, especially focusing on his central concepts of Truth (Satya), God, Non-violence (Ahimsa), and Satyagraha. Gandhi did not see religion as a set of rituals or dogmas, but as a path toward the realization of Truth. Influenced by Vedic thought, basically the ideas of ?ta (cosmic order) and satya (truth), Gandhi equated Truth with the highest reality and ultimately with God. In a significant philosophical shift, he declared "Truth is God" instead of the more conventional "God is Truth," emphasizing the universality and undeniability of Truth. He also rooted his moral and political philosophy in Ahimsa, not merely as non-injury, but as a positive force of love, compassion, and service. These ideas found practical expression in his method of Satyagraha, or non-violent resistance, which was used as a tool for personal growth, social transformation, and political liberation. By examining those key elements, the essay employs how Gandhi's thought offers a comprehensive ethical and spiritual framework that extends beyond sectarian boundaries and continues to inspire global peace movements.
