Laboratory environments require strict safety and efficient information access systems to prevent accidents and improve productivity. One of the major risks in laboratories is undetected gas leakage, which can lead to severe health hazards and potential explosions. Additionally, the unavailability of quick access to essential laboratory information often causes delays and errors during experiments. To address these issues, this research presents a Smart Laboratory Safety and Information System integrating gas leak detection and AI-based information retrieval. The system employs a gas sensor to detect harmful gases in real time and uses Blynk Cloud to send instant alerts to mobile devices, ensuring immediate response and safety. For efficient information management, an AI chatbot powered by the OpenAI API is implemented using Python, enabling lab personnel to instantly retrieve data such as equipment details, safety protocols, and experiment procedures. This dual approach enhances both safety and operational efficiency within laboratory settings. The proposed system demonstrates how the integration of IoT and AI technologies can create a smarter, safer, and more responsive laboratory environment.

This study aimed to evaluate the extent to which cleaner production practices are implemented at two factories, Murooj Goods and Al-Muhandis Paints, located in the Bahri Industrial Area. The research problem was formulated in the following main question: To what extent are cleaner production practices implemented at Murooj Goods and Al-Muhandis Paints in the Bahri Industrial Area? The study was based on the following main hypothesis: There is awareness of the concept of cleaner production and its application among the manufacturers of Murooj Goods and Al-Muhandis Paints in the Bahri Industrial Area. The study used a descriptive-analytical approach. The results showed that Murooj Goods applies the concept of cleaner production at a rate of 87%, and Al-Muhandis Paints applies it at a rate of 67%. The Engineer's Paints factory applies it at a rate of 67%. Industrial and technological progress, coupled with the failure to choose appropriate technologies for waste management, has led to the depletion of primary natural resources, the emergence of occupational diseases and accidents, and pollution of the basic components of the environment. The study recommended implementing cleaner production practices in developed institutions and countries to achieve tremendous positive results in environmental conservation.

The growing number of job listings and the wider range of skill requirements have made it difficult for job seekers to find opportunities that match their qualifications. This project introduces an AI-driven Job Recommendation System aimed at simplifying the process of connecting candidates with suitable jobs. The system uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to effectively analyze resumes and job descriptions. Resumes are processed with PyResparser, which extracts key details such as skills, experience, and education. At the same time, job data are prepared and transformed using the TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) method, allowing the system to assess how similar candidate profiles are to job requirements. The Nearest Neighbors algorithm is then used to find the most relevant job suggestions. A Flask-based web interface enables users to upload their resumes and receive personalized job recommendations in real time. The system also includes automated data scraping to keep the job database current, ensuring that recommendations are relevant and accurate. This approach removes the need for manual browsing through many job portals and offers a more efficient, user-friendly solution. Experimental results show that the system greatly improves the speed and accuracy of job matching, making it a useful tool for job seekers and recruitment platforms alike.

Education plays a very important role in shaping the future of every child. It helps students gain knowledge, build good habits, and prepare for a career. Over the years, the way we teach and learn has changed. Today, we live in a modern world where technology is growing fast, new jobs are being created, and the skills needed to succeed are very different from what they were 20 or 30 years ago. In today's modern world, we need students who can adapt, solve problems, and use technology wisely. STEM Education is a learning approach that combines four main subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Instead of teaching each subject separately, STEM blends them to solve real-world problems. It helps students think critically, ask questions, explore ideas, and use what they learn in practical ways. This article explores the transformation of classroom teaching-learning practices through the integration of STEM education. Earlier, classrooms were largely teacher-centred, content-heavy, and examination-driven. With the adoption of STEM, teaching has shifted from delivering information to facilitating inquiry, collaboration, and real-world problem solving. Drawing upon classroom-based STEM lesson implementations and supported by scholarly studies, this paper discusses how STEM integration has redefined the teacher's role, enhanced student engagement, and fostered a culture of innovation and critical thinking--preparing learners for the challenges of the 21st century.

The present study focuses on the development of gastro-retentive floating matrix tablets of Pioglitazone to enhance its oral bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy in the management of Type II diabetes mellitus. Pioglitazone possesses low aqueous solubility and a short biological half-life (3-7 hours), resulting in frequent dosing and fluctuations in plasma drug levels. To overcome these limitations, floating tablets were formulated using Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC K15M) and Sodium Alginate as release-retarding polymers, Sodium Bicarbonate as the gas-generating agent, and PVP as a binder. The tablets were prepared by direct compression and evaluated for pre-compression and post-compression parameters such as hardness, friability, weight variation, drug content, floating lag time, buoyancy duration, swelling index, and in-vitro drug release. The optimized formulation (F4) exhibited excellent floating behavior with a floating lag time below one minute and buoyancy extending beyond 15 hours. In-vitro dissolution studies confirmed controlled drug release for up to 12 hours, following zero-order kinetics with a non-Fickian diffusion mechanism. Stability studies conducted under ICH conditions indicated no significant changes in physical or chemical properties. Overall, floating matrix tablets of Pioglitazone successfully prolonged gastric residence time and improved sustained drug delivery, offering better therapeutic outcomes and patient compliance.
