Abstract: This paper explores the ecological worldview and traditional environmental ethics of the Bodo community of Assam, India, through the lens of their indigenous religion, Bathou Dwhwrwm. The Bodos' integration of nature into their social, religious and cultural system reflects a deep ecological consciousness. Through animism, plant worship, animal reverence and sacred rituals rooted in nature. The Bodos sustains a model of environmental stewardship that predates modern ecological movements. Their worldview offers crucial insights into indigenous sustainability practices and spiritual ecology of forest-dwelling communities.

In recent time tribals who have been living the plains have become a part and parcel of rural communities of our country. They are no longer living in isolation from rural or urban or industrial areas. Hitherto isolated tribal land or habitats have been connected with the other developed areas of the country by modern communication systems. As such tribal villages have become an integral part of the villages of the other communities of the country. They have more or less the same problems of development with these or the other communities in general. However the tribals have their own traditional institutions of self-rule like village council, regional council, community or national council etc. known by different names. All problems of the communities were solved by these councils.

In the digital age, fear has migrated from haunted spaces to technological ones. Stephen King's fiction, though widely celebrated for its supernatural terror, equally captures the psychological and cultural anxieties of technological modernity. This paper examines the concept of digital dread, a form of the technological uncanny, through King's engagement with media, surveillance, and postmodern horror. By analyzing novels such as The Running Man (1982), Cell (2006), Mr. Mercedes (2014), and The Institute (2019), the study argues that King transforms everyday technologies into agents of alienation and control. Drawing on theories by Freud, Baudrillard, and Foucault, the paper contends that King's representation of technological horror functions as a critique of postmodern identity, digital culture, and the erosion of human subjectivity in the age of hyper connectivity.

White spot lesions (WSLs) are a common complication of orthodontic treatment, resulting from enamel demineralization beneath an intact surface due to plaque accumulation around fixed appliances. Their prevalence ranges from 30% to 70%, with higher rates in patients exhibiting poor oral hygiene, high carbohydrate intake, prolonged treatment, or pre-existing enamel defects. Prevention relies on a multifaceted approach, including meticulous mechanical plaque control, fluoride-based chemical adjuncts, resin sealants, and advanced remineralization agents such as CPP-ACP, bioactive glass, and hydroxyapatite pastes. Emerging strategies, including probiotics, polyols, laser irradiation, antimicrobial peptides, nano-silver agents, appliance design innovations, and AI-guided compliance monitoring, offer adjunctive benefits. Post-treatment management of WSLs involves remineralization, microabrasion, bleaching, and resin infiltration depending on lesion severity. Despite technological advances, patient compliance and regular professional reinforcement remain pivotal. Future research should focus on long-term, standardized clinical trials to establish evidence-based protocols for the prevention and management of orthodontic WSLs.

Parasymphysis mandibular fractures present unique biomechanical and anatomical challenges due to complex tensile, compressive, and torsional forces in the anterior mandible. Various osteosynthesis techniques, including rigid reconstruction plates, semi-rigid miniplates, lag screws, hybrid systems, and interosseous wiring, are employed to restore mandibular function, aesthetics, and stability. Rigid fixation offers absolute stability and is indicated in comminuted or edentulous fractures, while semi-rigid miniplates preserve periosteal blood supply and are preferred for simple, non-comminuted fractures. Screw selection, single versus double plating, and load-sharing versus load-bearing approaches influence clinical outcomes. Postoperative evaluation demonstrates generally favorable functional recovery, with stable occlusion, restored masticatory efficiency, and early rehabilitation. Complications, including infection, hardware failure, and sensory disturbances, remain low, particularly with single high-profile miniplates and appropriately applied lag screws. Optimal outcomes are achieved by tailoring fixation strategies to fracture pattern, bone quality, and biomechanical requirements, emphasizing evidence-based, patient-specific decision-making.

Abstract: This research undertakes a critical interrogation of the intricate entanglements between trauma, memory, and identity formation within transgender narratives emanating from the Global South. Transcending the epistemic confines of Western-centric trauma discourse, the study elucidates how postcolonial, caste-inflected, and cultural genealogies converge with gendered violence to engender distinctive modalities of transgenerational trauma. Anchored in the theoretical matrices of trauma studies, queer phenomenology, and postcolonial memory theory, the inquiry foregrounds how transgender authors and cultural producers from regions such as South Asia, Latin America, and Africa recuperate occluded histories of embodiment, displacement, and becoming. By examining both literary and testimonial articulations, the paper delineates the aesthetic and affective strategies through which transgender subjects transmute inherited wounds of erasure colonial, familial, and socio-political into acts of narrative insurgency and mnemonic reclamation. Through a constellation of close readings, the study reveals how these texts subvert hegemonic historiographies by transforming trauma into a locus of communal healing, epistemic reparation, and political futurity. Ultimately, this research contends that transgender narratives from the Global South operate not merely as chronicles of abjection but as insurgent archives of resilience, where memory functions simultaneously as a technology of survival and an instrument of epistemic sovereignty. In reimagining the affective cartographies of violence and remembrance, the paper contributes to a decolonial reorientation of trauma studies that situates the transgender subject as a vital interlocutor in reconfiguring the global politics of memory, affect, and representation.

Abstract: Introduction Hamstring flexibility is crucial for good posture and movement. Tight hamstrings, often caused by prolonged sitting, can lead to stiffness, reduced range of motion, and pain in the lower back, pelvis, knees, and feet. Research shows that up to 40% of college students experience hamstring tightness. This study examines the immediate effects of Percussive Therapy (PT) and Active Release Technique (ART) on hamstring flexibility in young adults. ART, developed by Dr. Leahy, breaks tissue adhesions to relieve muscle tightness. PT, using a massage gun, loosens muscles, boosts blood flow, and improves flexibility. Research suggests PT can increase range of motion (ROM) without affecting muscle performance. Objective To compare the immediate effects of PT and ART on hamstring tightness in young adults and determine the more effective method for improving flexibility and mobility. Method This experimental study used simple random sampling to select 30 participants (ages 18-30). They were divided into two groups: o Group A (n=15): Received Percussive Therapy (PT) o Group B (n=15): Received Active Release Technique (ART) Hamstring tightness was assessed before and after intervention using the Active Knee Extension Test (AKET). Results The findings reveal that although both Percussive Therapy and Active Release Technique are effective in reducing hamstring muscle tightness and enhancing flexibility acutely, ART demonstrated a significantly greater improvement compared to PT. The statistically significant outcomes--both within and between groups--highlight the immediate therapeutic benefit of ART over PT in the treatment of hamstring muscle tightness in young adults. Conclusion PT and ART effectively reduce hamstring tightness and improve knee extension. However, ART was significantly more effective in increasing hamstring flexibility and range of motion.

Abstract (English): This study explains the backdrop of history, religious values that are attached to that particular temple, its socio-cultural impacts and spiritual significances of the "Yugal Kishore Temple" in Aranghata, Nadia district. Started in 1728 by Maharaja Krishnachandra and this temple was not just founded for the sake of worship but an embodiment of Bengal Vaishnav's tradition. As per a legend Gangaram Das, a devotee from Vrindavan established the idol of Lord Krishna in his youthful form at Vrundaban near Nabadwip. Subsequently during the Bargi invasion he left with the idol and stayed at Aranghata for shelter. Later on through a divine dream King Krishnachandra was able to find out a metal made idol Radhika from his palace's underground chamber and positioned Her beside Lord Krishna. This divine couple led to temple becoming famous as "Yugal Kishore." The architectural style of the temple, with its five-arched hall, pankha ornamentation, and engraved images of the Dashavatar, speaks volumes about the rich heritage of Bengali folk art. A nearly three-hundred-year-old "Siddha Bakul" tree stands right within the premises of the temple and is believed to be the sacred site of Radha-Krishna's divine union. Every year in the month of Jyeshtha, the Yugal Kishore festival and fair are held, drawing devotees and baul artists from across the state. It is believed that women who offer prayers here are freed from the sorrow of widowhood. Maharaja Krishnachandra donated about 125 bighas of land to ensure the daily worship and long-term sustenance of the temple. Even today, the Yugal Kishore Temple stands as a symbol of religion, art, and communal harmony for the local society where spirituality, music, and devotion blend together, keeping Bengal's Vaishnava heritage vibrant and alive.

Abstract Women's empowerment is essential for the development of the country. However, the role of media in bringing the information that women need most to excel in their life is equally important. Among them newspaper and television play a major role. In this context, a study is undertaken to know the media utilization levels by rural women, and to find out the reasons for using media. The study also sought to understand their information needs, and to know to what level adequate information is given by the media for empowering the rural women's lives. A survey research was conducted among 200 women in Tumkur, Shimoga, Hasan, Beluru, Chikkamagalore, Raichur, Koppal, Gadag and Haveri districts of Karnataka State through questionnaire. The information needs for their empowerment was mostly related to social and political rights, government schemes, Panchayath schemes and bank loan facilities. The study showed that majority respondents were dependent on television for their information needs, while only one-third relied on newspaper. Though the utilisation of television was majorly about gratifying entertainment needs, information was stated to be the second. All the respondents were happy with the coverage of necessary information that they were getting from the both media that resulted in well-being in life.
