Humor and satire have always served as effective literary tools to critique society, expose human follies, and stimulate reflection without resorting to overt confrontation. This paper presents a comparative study of the humorous satire of two eminent writers: Khushwant Singh, an Indian author renowned for his sharp wit and piercing social critique, and Stephen Leacock, a Canadian humorist celebrated for his gentle irony and comic portrayals of everyday life. Although belonging to distinct cultural, social, and historical contexts, both writers employ satire to illuminate social absurdities and human weaknesses. This study explores their shared use of satire as a universal literary form while also identifying the cultural particularities that distinguish them. By situating their works within larger traditions of humor theory--from Aristophanes to Freud and Bergson--this paper argues that Singh and Leacock represent two complementary models of humorous satire: Singh's biting realism rooted in postcolonial India and Leacock's genial humor reflecting early 20th-century North American middle-class society.

Global climate change represents one of the most profound environmental, social, and economic challenges of the 21st century. Driven primarily by anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the Earth is experiencing rapid changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, sea levels, and ecosystem dynamics. This research paper synthesizes contemporary scientific understanding of climate change, evaluates its multifaceted global impacts, and explores viable mitigation and adaptation strategies. Using interdisciplinary insights from climatology, ecology, and socio-economic studies, the paper argues that effective climate action requires integrated global cooperation, scientific innovation, and strong policy frameworks. The study concludes that without immediate and sustained action, climate change will intensify existing vulnerabilities and create irreversible planetary changes.

India is projected to become the third largest economy in the world by purchasing power, following the United States and China, by the year 2035. It is anticipated that India's economy will reach 60% of the size of the US economy. However, this rapidly growing economy must navigate several phases before achieving the current milestone of a 9% GDP. Fluctuations in the stock market can significantly influence both the economy and individual consumers, as a decline in share prices may lead to widespread economic turmoil. This paper examines the crucial role of the stock market in the growth of the Indian economy and its impact, utilizing a conceptual methodology based on journals related to the Indian stock market.

Dietary regimens exert a pivotal influence on oral and periodontal health by modulating systemic inflammation, immune responsiveness, and reparative tissue dynamics. Vegetarian nutrition, enriched with antioxidative and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients, has been postulated to confer superior periodontal outcomes relative to omnivorous dietary practices. This investigation was undertaken to comparatively evaluate the influence of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dietary paradigms on awareness and perception of periodontal (gingival) health among the general populace.

Episiotomy is a common obstetric incision performed to prevent uncontrolled perineal tears during childbirth. Proper wound healing is essential for maternal comfort and prevention of infection. Kankshi Ointment is an Ayurvedic topical formulation traditionally used for wound healing. This review summarizes literature and findings from an open randomized controlled clinical trial conducted on 84 postpartum women with episiotomy wounds. Participants were divided into two groups: Group A (Kankshi Ointment) and Group B (povidone iodine Ointment). Assessment was done using REEDA scale and pain scores for 7 days. Both groups showed significant improvement, with the control group showing slightly better results in edema and pain. No adverse effects were observed. Kankshi Ointment is safe and moderately effective, requiring further clinical validation.

The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a structured teaching program (STP) on the knowledge of primary school teachers regarding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A quantitative descriptive research design was used among 50 primary school teachers from selected schools in Bhucho Mandi, Bathinda, Punjab. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire - the Knowledge of Attention Deficit Disorder Scale (KADDS). Results revealed that the mean pre-test knowledge score was 19.04 and post-test was 31.12, showing a significant improvement (p < 0.001) after the STP. Findings indicate that structured educational interventions significantly improve teachers' understanding of ADHD, which is essential for early identification and classroom management of affected students.
