 Abstract

Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) remains a leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Prevention and prompt, evidence-based management are essential to reduce deaths and long-term complications. Active management of the third stage of labour with a uterotonic immediately after birth is the cornerstone of prevention. When PPH occurs, a tiered response--additional uterotonics, tranexamic acid, uterine balloon tamponade (UBT), and, if needed, surgical/hysterectomy interventions--can be life-saving. This article reviews current evidence comparing commonly used uterotonics (oxytocin, carbetocin, misoprostol, ergometrine) for prevention and first-line treatment, summarizes the role of tranexamic acid as an adjunct, and examines the effectiveness and appropriate use of uterine balloon tamponade (Bakri, condom/ESM-UBT and other balloons) as a temporizing or definitive measure. Key randomized trials, systematic reviews, and guideline recommendations are synthesized to provide practical recommendations for clinicians and health systems.

 Abstract

This study explores employee engagement within the training and learning ecosystem at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, with a focus on Marriott's digital platforms Marriott Global Source (MGS) and the Digital Learning Zone (DLZ). Using Kahn's Psychological Conditions of Engagement as the primary analytical lens and supplemented by the Job Demands Resources (JDR) Model and Social Exchange Theory (SET), the research examines how digital learning infrastructures contribute to or challenge engagement in a hospitality context. Primary data was gathered through observations and informal conversations with associates across departments, while secondary data involved a theoretical comparison with established engagement models. The findings highlight that while the training platforms offer autonomy, accessibility, and recognition, which are key enablers of engagement, challenges such as time constraints, operational workload, and uneven managerial support can limit their impact. The study concludes that employee engagement in digital learning is not only a function of available resources but also how embedded, equitable, and supported those resources are within everyday work life.

 Abstract

Motion graphics are now a common element in fast-food advertising, giving companies a creative approach to grab consumers' attention and pique their interest. Little is known about how various Indian generations react to motion-driven food ads, despite the fact that younger consumers are becoming more and more accustomed to fast-paced digital imagery. The emotional reactions, visual preferences, and attentional patterns of Gen Z (18-29) and Gen X (44-59) customers toward motion-graphic fast-food advertising are compared in this study to close that gap. Five semi-structured interviews and an online survey with 83 respondents were part of a mixed-method approach. In order to evaluate a motion-graphic advertising for an Indian fast-food brand, participants looked at factors such clarity, pacing comfort, emotional involvement, appetite appeal, and purchase intention. While interview data was subjected to thematic analysis, quantitative responses were evaluated using descriptive statistics. The results showed notable generational disparities. Purchase intention, appetite appeal, and emotional involvement were all consistently higher among Gen Z. Additionally, they favored visually engaging, fast-paced entertainment. On the other hand, Gen X participants preferred more structured visual communication, slower tempo, and clearer information. Both theories are strongly supported by these patterns, which also demonstrate that motion graphics have a deeper emotional connection with audiences that are digital natives. In addition to showing how motion graphics may be tailored for various age groups to improve engagement, clarity, and persuasive power, the study emphasizes the necessity of generation-specific design methods in fast-food advertising.

 Abstract

This article investigates the profound influence of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) on consumer buying behavior within the highly visual and rapidly evolving Food and Beverage (F&B) industry. Through a review of current literature and empirical findings, this paper establishes that social media engagement, driven by visual content, electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM), and influencer marketing, significantly impacts every stage of the consumer decision-making process, from awareness to post-purchase evaluation. Key findings highlight the crucial role of trust as a mediator between social media marketing activities and purchase intention mathbf{(Source: 3.5, 3.6)}, and the positive correlation between engaging content and impulse buying in this sector mathbf{(Source: 1.3, 1.4)}.

 Abstract

This project describes the design and implementation of a low-cost, intelligent motion-activated camera system using the ESP32-CAM module, which consists of an integrated OV2640 camera with WiFi, an LDR, and a Passive Infrared motion sensor. This project only works in night/dark condition. First , through the LDR, it detects low light conditions of the surrounding area. Once the dark condition of the surroundings is detected, the PIR sensor detects motion for any human or object movement. On detecting motion and low light condition, ESP32-CAM is activated and sends an image to the website via an HTTP POST request. A Website is made which receives an image and further sends this image and an alert to the user. Since most of the components are low-priced, the philosophy behind this work is to make it as simple and inexpensive as possible while being reliable, for home security, wildlife monitoring, and small-scale surveillance.

ABSTRACT: Indian Tax system has been re-tuned as educative tax system to meet the global standard by ensuring Social, economical and legal justice through the effective tax provision for the tax payers. The tax provisions under Income Tax Act have set and ensure some core objective to reach the objectives of global tax system. Trust assessees are facing distinct challenges in navigating the complex tax landscape. Understanding these challenges is crucial for designing policies that empower taxpayers and facilitate compliance tax reforms often include initiatives to enhance taxpayer education and awareness about the core objectives of the tax provisions, exemptions, avoidance and evasions under educative tax global tax system. The trust are make use of the tax provisions in tax avoidance by investments, expenses, and income, in ways that reduce the amount of tax owed without breaking any tax laws. The trust are make use of the tax provisions in tax avoidance by investments, expenses, and income, in ways that reduce the amount of tax owed without breaking any tax laws. Unlike tax evasion, which is illegal, tax avoidance takes advantage of exemptions, deductions, credits, and loopholes provided by tax regulations. While tax avoidance is lawful, aggressive tax avoidance schemes may sometimes attract scrutiny from tax authorities. The tax reforms and changes in the new section 12AB has ended the perpetuity regime for a Charitable Trust introducing a new scheme review on the Trust's operations and its eligibility to enjoy the benefit of exemption to ensure that the conditions of approval or Registration or notification are adhered to and not abused. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Dr. M.  Abstract

Land revenue administration in Karnataka is governed by the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, which provides the legal and administrative framework for assessment, collection, and management of land revenue. Within the state, the district of Coorg (Kodagu) maintains a unique and complex system shaped by historical regulations, particularly the Jamma land tenure. The Jamma system, originating under the Coorg Rajas and later modified by the British, is characterized by hereditary rights, special privileges, and collective family ownership, distinct from standard ryotwari tenures elsewhere in Karnataka. Recent judicial interventions and legislative efforts underscore the continued significance and challenges of integrating historical land systems like Jamma into modern land revenue administration.

 Abstract

The eminent catastrophe for natural resources and diversity is a universal calamity. Natural resources and diversities are steadily disappearing and crumbling at quite an alarming proportion. As a result, this forest cover is divided into small patches of vegetation, a few of them anyhow conserved as Sacred Groves (SGs) due to religious beliefs, myths, and traditions held by indigenous people. However, deforestation and over-exploitation put SGs in a terrible situation. This paper deals with a case study of Biodiversity, Threats & conservation of Sacred Grove in Dharampur taluka from Valsad district, Gujarat, India, carried out through informal discussions and interviews with villagers, priests and sarpanch of the villages. The data consolidate the development of SG, tourism activity, business activity, and economic status, awareness of environmental conservation, natural resources, biodiversity and the current status of the SG. Results show that Villagers are dependent on SG for day-to-day needs and the rate of deforestation is very high due to anthropogenic activities in SG. The community's changing attitude towards spiritualism, destruction of traditional values and lack of awareness put sacred groves in danger. Protection of SGs is not possible without the effective involvement of locals. It is necessary to bring awareness to locals and give them valuable education especially the younger generation, to help in changing attitudes toward materialism to spiritualism, so that conservation goals can be achieved.
