 Abstract

The study titled consumer perception towards Electric Vehicles explores consumer awareness regarding Electric Vehicles (EVs) and its impact on the adoption of sustainable transportation solutions. With the global push for reducing carbon emissions and transitioning towards greener alternatives, understanding consumer behavior and knowledge is crucial for promoting EV adoption. The study investigates key factors influencing consumer awareness, including environmental benefits, economic incentives, technological advancements, and infrastructure availability. This research contributes to identify the factors considered while purchasing the Electric Vehicles, satisfaction towards various features of E -Vehicles and the association between age group and attitude towards E-Vehicles.

 Abstract

Regressive alteration is a complicated condition that causes enamel and dentine to deteriorate. Erosion, abrasion, abfraction, attrition, resorption, or a combination of these lesions are typically the cause. With intervals of activity and inactivity, regressive alterations are shown to progress slowly. Prevention is still the best way to keep a tooth healthy for as long as possible, even though restorations are sometimes necessary. For the diagnosis and treatment of these lesions, a comprehensive understanding of their origin, symptoms, and signs is essential. This page helps readers diagnose the type of lesion and determine the best course of treatment by outlining the etiological causes.

 Abstract

The Potential and Difficulties of Artificial Intelligence in Improving Internet of Things-Based Surveillance Systems Aaryan Agrawal*, Aasha Shah*, Ayush Bhardwaj*,D Abdul Rahaman*, M Dakshayini* * Department of ISE, B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence with Internet of Things is revolutionizing the IoT-centric surveillance system, making it more agile and proficient in identifying, monitoring, and responding to all forms of threats within seconds. The varieties of sensors and drones continue to capture numerous data around them, and the AI algorithms calculate this data to identify patterns, alert anomalies, and predict potential security threats. The AI-driven system has the ability to autonomously detect intruders, monitor suspicious activities, and monitor environmental hazards like a fire threat. The advanced deep learning algorithms and computer visions have started to be used to help identify objects, support autonomous decision-making processes, and enable quicker responses. These surveillance drones now can be deployed and utilized for reconnaissance missions in highly vast areas and then send back autonomous responses. AI in IoT-based surveillance, though, brings forth challenges such as issues with data privacy, the need for robust energy-efficient devices, and complexity in real-time processing. However, AI and IoT together are creating smarter and more adaptive surveillance systems, offering advanced solutions in security within smart cities, industries, and public venues.

 Abstract

Water, a vital component of life, wastewater quality parameters are crucial for analyzing water that has been impacted by human or industrial activities. Treatment of waste water is done by many methods. In the present study, the quality parameters of wastewater are reduced by using natural adsorbent mixture, which is a mixture of wooden sawdust, ceramics from waste cups and saucers and river sand. The effectiveness in the treatment of wastewater is very high of using this mixture of adsorbent. The quality parameters are determined before and after treatment, which saw a reduction in TDS-91.2%, BOD-82.6%, COD-79.5%, hardness-94.3%, Sulphate-86.3%, Nitrate-60.6%, Chloride-70%, TSS-84.4%. The mean value flow rate is 15sec/liter. These materials saw their effectiveness in both acidic wastewater and basic wastewater.

 Abstract

This study attempts to explore the role of Naga mothers, specifically the Naga Mother's Association (NMA), in conflict resolution and peace-building in Naga society. It examines how mothers strategically employ their motherhood identity to mobilize conflicting groups to make peace and how, in the process, the NMA has achieved to create a political space for women in a patriarchal Naga society. It primarily emphasizes NMA engagement in peace activism and peace projects.

 Abstract

To understand the evolving perceptions of Muslims around the world after the Palestine-Israel war, Shivi Soni has researched for more than 2 months to get an in-depth knowledge on this. Under the guidance of a Harvard student, Shivi has learnt different ways to go about this topic. In her research, she has explored how different ethnicities, groups, and people viewed Muslims and how their view on them has evolved and changed, including topics of relations of Americans and Muslims, and relations of Indians and Muslims. Additionally, the perception changes taking place from the Palestine-Israel war, and also during the conflicts during Indo-Pak war and relations are addressed In this paper, she will further elaborate upon the views on Muslims and how exactly they have changed over the years and the reasons behind those changes as well.

 Abstract

Community participation plays a critical role in the successful implementation and sustainability of rural development policies, especially in regions grappling with socio-economic challenges. This paper explores the role of community participation in enhancing the outcomes of policy implementation, with a focus on the Bihar JEEViKA Program, a prominent example of community-driven development. Launched in 2006-07, JEEViKA aims to empower marginalized groups, particularly women, by organizing them into Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and federations, enhancing access to financial services, promoting livelihood diversification, and fostering social capital. The paper examines the transformative impact of such initiatives, noting how community engagement in decision-making processes leads to improvements in financial inclusion, service delivery, and local governance. Drawing on case studies and relevant literature, the paper highlights the importance of bottom-up approaches in bridging the gap between policy formulation and local realities. The involvement of rural communities in policy implementation strengthens local institutions, builds accountability, and ensures policies align with the specific needs of the people. The paper also discusses key challenges faced by the JEEViKA program; the paper offers policy recommendations to enhance community participation. Ultimately, this paper demonstrates how community participation fosters a sense of ownership, leading to more sustainable and effective development outcomes, which can be replicated in other regions facing similar challenges.

 Abstract

In the modern world underwater images have become a very important aspect of various different fields and industries. Due to this, the requirement of high-quality underwater images has become very important in recent times. These images can be used for environmental monitoring, biodiversity, documentation, ocean exploration, as well as pollution awareness. Although all of these require high-quality underwater images it has become a constant challenge in order to obtain them. This is due to the fact that underwater images tend to have various problems that they face which degrades the quality of the image itself. Some of the issues that are faced when dealing with underwater images are color distortion, low contrast and blurriness, uneven illumination, and noise from the various particulate matter that is present in the water. All these issues sort the image to make it unusable in all the fields that we previously talked about. This is why we would like to use convolutional neural networks in order to create a model that is able to enhance these images to increase the quality. In this study, we would like to address the various issues that underwater images face, and how we intend on solving them. To do this, we will have to use various data sets in order to train the model, which we will create in order for image enhancement, and then vigorously test it using various different parameters, which we will also explain in our report. Through the study, we aim to create a model, which is able to take any form of underwater image and accurately enhance it so that it can be used in the many fields that are required today., which we will also explain in our report. Through the study, we aim to create a model, which is able to take any form of underwater image and accurately enhance it so that it can be used in the many fields that require it today.
