 Abstract

In this paper, we prove the existence of mild solutions for a first order impulsive neutral differential inclusion with state dependent delay. By using a fixed point theorem for condensing multi-valued maps, a main existence theorem is established .

 Abstract

Tribes and Pre-school facilities in the District of Wayanad Research across the world in general and India in particular in the area of primary education specially in the field of tribal education is in a primary stage. The studies in generally emphasizes the fact that the aboriginal communities, educational issues today itself is a sensitive one, whether it is primary, Secondary or higher education level. The 86th constitutional amendment bill 2002 that makes free and compulsory education, a fundamental right for all children of 6 to 14 years age group makes the dawn of the second revolution in the chapter of citizens rights. The mile stone in the development of tribe is with the formation of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, on 15th October 1999, a historic provision to bring the most under served community of this country into the mainstream. Core of this attempts are integrated socio-economic development providing protection against exploitation, tribal welfare planning policy formulation, research and training tribal development including scholarships to aboriginals and promotion of voluntary efforts in their development. But here arise a critical and sociological question that the early child hood care and protection activities we can solve maternal under nutrition, inter pregnancy interval and related health issues. Health education and related protection service is one of the core concern and vigilant eye in the early childhood service.

 Abstract

Spent pickle liquor (SPL) of electroplating industry is a major source of hazardous industrial wastes. Various methods have been investigated for the recovery of acid(s), Hydrochloric acid and Sulfuric acid from SPL. Each has got its own merits and demerits. Solvent extraction is one of the method used for recovery of inorganic acids from wastewater. Extraction of hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid by solvents was studied from spent pickle liquor containing 92 g/l hydrochloric acid and 491g/l sulfuric acid . Recovery of all two acids increased with the increasing concentration of the solvents. For all the solvents studied, the species extracted into the organic phase appears to be associated with nearly one mole of solvent. The acids extracted by Aliquat 336 and Tributyl phosphate (TBP) were easily stripped with water. But sulfuric acid extracted with Alamine 336 was not stripped with water. The stripping efficiency was ?11% with dilute sulfuric acid and increased with 0.1 N NaOH for acid loaded onto Alamine 336.

 Abstract

The textile industry and the legal profession is one of the classical industries in the world. Both the industries are universal in nature because almost all nations produce textile and practice law. This global growth of these industries has however, created hurdles to women who work in these two industries. This paper highlights the shocking conditions of women in textile industry and legal profession and also comes out with suggestions to provide a hassle free work environment for women.

 Abstract

Recently in the 12th five year plan of India the focus has been to ensure faster inclusive and sustainable development which means that all the sections of the society have to enjoy the fruits of development on a sustainable basis. Since ST and SC and OBCs are among the weaker and vulnerable sections of the society therefore the issues pertaining to them are worth investigating .The objectives of the present study are: to ascertain the Demographic profile of the weaker sections of the society in the border area, to examine the nature of their occupation, their income and expenditure & to investigate the problems being faced by them. The present study is based on secondary & primary sources. The secondary data has been collected from the Ministry of tribal affairs, annual reports, Journals, etc. For the conducting the primary study district Poonch from Jammu and Kashmir State has been selected. The data has been collected on a well-structured questionnaire through personal interview method. After the collection of the data it has been tabulated and analyzed with simple statistical tools. The literacy rate is lower among ST’s and their economy to a considerable extent depends on dairy farming, cattle rearing and agriculture. So for as the living conditions are concerned 30 percent of ST households had( kula/Kotha) kuchha houses, 45percent semi-pacca, 25 percent pacca houses .In case of Non-ST households 25 percent had Kuchha, 27.5 percent semi-pacca&47.5 percent had pacca, houses .The living condition of Non-ST households has been better in comparison to that of of STs. The ST and Non-ST households in the study area have been facing a number of problems and are lacking basic amenities in their life.

 Abstract

Abstract: The present paper has been attempting to study the hierarchical organisation of rural market Centres in Wai Tahsil Dist. Satara, Maharashtra state. The tahsil consist 624.58 sq.kms. and has contrasting economy i.e, irrigated and nor-irrigated. The tahsil consists of four rural market Centres with 128 villages. The study is based on primary and secondary data from the field investigation and the published records. The spatial organization of rural market centres and their orders distributed geographic space is the main consideration in the present paper. Hence, the gradation and re-grouping the market centres into size of classes is termed as hierarchy. The concept of hierarchy is fundamental to the central place theory. Some of the market centres such as Wai,pachwad etc., with low population size are found in high order of hierarchical groups. Similarly, many examples can be cited. Hence, the present central place system is not directly correlated to its population size .

 Abstract

Celosia argentia L. is dominant weed reported in crop fields of Islampur of Sangli district of Maharashtra, India. It has been scrutinized for its allelopathic potentiality against guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba L. Taub.). The laboratory experiments were conducted to assess activity of ?-amylase during seed germination of guar after treating different concentrations (5, 20, 40, 60 and 80%) of stem, leaves and inflorescence (flower) aqueous extracts separately. There is positively correlation between the aqueous leachate and activity of ?-amylase. The activity increased in germinating seeds of guar after treatment of aqueous leachates of all plant parts. The treatment of 40 to 80% inflorescence, leaf and root aqueous extract recorded doubled ?-amylase activity as compared to control in germinating seeds. The activity of ?-amylase was more pronounced in leaf leachate treated seedlings as compared to other leachate treatments. It indicated that allelochemicals are more in leaf than other plant parts. This study indicates that some allelochemicals are present in aqueous extract of C. argentea and regulated the activity of enzyme ?-amylase.

 Abstract

The kinetic and mechanistic study of some cyclopentanol by N-chlorophthalimide in acetic acid medium was carried out at 3080k. The follows pseudo first order kinetics each in [NCP] and [cyclopentanol], and reaction is acid catalysed. The study completely discarded the formation of complex and rules out the involvement of cations in mechanism. The study reveals that the reaction velocity retarded with increases in solvent composition. Thermodynamic parameters were computed. A suitable mechanism with the kinetics results has been proposed.
