 Abstract

The main objective of the present research paper is to study the effect of the advertisements and age of housewives and working women (office) on consumer buying behaviour for purchase of household appliances.50 each housewives and working women (office) were selected randomly. They were divided in to three age groups- >35,35-50,<50.Questinnaire to study impact of advertisement prepared by the researcher was administered on them. ANOVA was used for statistical analysis. The result show that there is no impact of age of respondent and advertisements on consumer behaviour to purchase household appliances of housewives and working women (office).

 Abstract

Shampoo is the most common form of hair treatment. Shampoos are mainly used for cleansing the hair and scalp. But these days additional benefits other than pure cleaning of the hair are expected from shampoo formulations such as conditioning, smoothing of the hair surface, good health of hair including hair free from dandruff, dirt, grease and lice and, above all, it should be safe to use without any harmful effects. So to popularize herbal shampoo, the consumer expectations from a shampoo have to be changed, with emphasis on its safety and efficacy. The challenges also lie in selecting materials that can be reasonably justified as natural and also match the performance characteristics of the chemical shampoo formulations available in the market. The increase in variety and the number of chemicals introduced into the market and also into the environment has resulted in the requirements for protection of human health and the environment. This has necessitated the monitoring of materials used and the development of rapid and reliable methods for toxicity evaluation and risks. This investigation reveals that the various chemicals and synthetic preservatives used in synthetic shampoos sometimes have been the cause of harmful effects among consumers. As our scalp is one of the most absorbent parts of the body, products applied to the scalp enter directly into the blood. So it is very important to know the effects of ingredients used in shampoo formulations. In the present review the shampoo formulations based on synthetic ingredients and herbal ingredients are compared for their effectiveness and safety.

 Abstract

The detection of duplicate images is a useful means of indexing a large database of documents. An algorithm for duplicate document detection is proposed in this papar that operates directly on images that have been symbolically compressed using techniques related to the ongoing JBIG2 standardization effort. This report describes a hidden Marko model (HMM) method that recognizes the text in an image by deciphering data from the compressed representation. Experimental results show that it can recover better than 90% of the text in compressed document images and that this is sufficient to identify duplicates in a large database. This describes a method for duplicate detection on symbolically compressed document images. This paper describes a method for duplicate detection on symbolically compressed document images. It recognizes the text in an image by deciphering the sequence of occurrence of blobs in the compressed representation. We propose a Hidden Markov Model (HMM) method for solving such deciphering problems and suggest applications in multilingual document duplicate detection.

 Abstract

Mining Industry has rapidly deteriorated quality of the natural wealth called as resources. These industries are getting centers of the pollution sources; we need timely actions and various mitigative measures so that natural resources can be confined. To assess the impact on air one of the marble mine was selected in Tehsil- Kotputli, District-Jaipur. Ambient air quality monitoring was conducted in summer seasons 2013 & 2014 for 8 locations in the core & buffer zone of the project site for parameters like PM10, PM2.5, SOx, NOx. The data on pollutants concentrations were processed for different statistical parameters like arithmetic mean, minimum & maximum concentration and various percentiles values. The monitoring results shows that all the parameters studied were within the permissible limit except PM10. PM10 for all the 8 Stations were found between 107.1 + 5.79 to 140.4 + 5.58 in Summer Season 2013 and 102.5 + 2.60 to 135.1+5.44 in Summer Season 2014 respectively. The minimum concentration was recorded in the mine site 107.1 + 5.79 & 104.3 + 5.31 in 2013 & 2014 and maximum in Village Dantil 139.2 + 5.59 & 134.6 + 5.38 and Village Dandha 140.4 + 5.58 & 135.1 + 5.44 in 2013 & 2014. We concluded that in Summer Season 2013 the production of dust occurs from many operations in the mining like quarrying and by processing viz. drilling or blasting from deposit beds, loading and transportation, crushing of stones, etc. So, the air pollutants are on maximum side. But in 2014 results are reduced with the comparison to the Summer Season 2013 because when the mine digs deeper the most of the air pollutant concentration were encircled in the mine.

 Abstract

: Intrusion Detection Systems are used to monitor computer system for sign of security violations over network or cloud environment. On detection of such sign triggers of IDSs is to report them to generate the alerts. These alerts are presented to a human analyst who evaluates them and initiates an adequate response. In Practice, IDSs have been observed to trigger thousands of alerts per day, most of which are mistakenly triggered by begin events such as false positive. This makes it extremely difficult for the analyst to correctly identify alerts related to attack such as a true positive. Recently Data Mining methods have gained importance in addressing network or cloud security issues, including network intrusion detection and cloud Intrusion detection systems, these systems aim to identify attacks with a high detection rate and a low false alarm rate. Consequently, Unsupervised Learning methods have been given a closer look for network and cloud intrusion detection. We present unsupervised based Clustering Technique and compare with traditional centroid-based clustering algorithms for intrusion detection. These techniques are applied to the KDD Cup98 data set .In addition; a Comparative analysis shows the advantage of proposed approach over Traditional clustering-based Methods over in identifying new or unseen attack. Experimental result show that A.I based Hill Climbing aided k-means Clustering algorithm improves the detection rate in IDS than K-Mean algorithm

 Abstract

Consumer perception is a measure of consumer approach to products, services or brands. Though it has always been smart to keep the consumer happy, but consumer perception has become popular with the total quality movement in 1980. Consumer perception is a word, which shows how to meet the needs of a customer, or the way to overcome customer expectations. This study is primarily focused on understanding the level of consumer perception of Airtel broadband in Ahmedabad. In order to understand the level of customer preference in relation to Broadband connection and to provide better services to its customers, the results of this stock can be utilized by Airtel to increase their market share and brand image. This letter also attempts to understand the brand awareness, competitive power of the company and the problems faced by the customer, which helps the company to take appropriate measures to solve the problems. Ahmedabad city's 200 consumers have been targeted to understand and understand the perception of consumers towards Airtel broadband services.

 Abstract

The aim of this paper is to develop, analyze and simulate a control strategy through SIR mathematical model for H1N1 with the help of periodic contact rate. Since H1N1 spreads through contact with an infected individual, therefore an effective contact rate has been modelled to minimize the effects of the disease on the society. The effective contact rate, which has been taken as a parameter earlier has been considered as a function of time t for the present study. Numerical simulations of the model have been performed with the help of fourth-order Runge Kutta method to illustrate our results. With the help of simulation, spread and control of disease has been demonstrated for different values of effective contact rate and action time, which have been found playing crucial role in controlling the spread of the disease, and differences have been displayed with the help of the graphs.
