Abstract: Culture is one of the complex phenomenon that includes nearly all aspects of the experience shared by human beings. Culture is the fundamental determinant of a consumers wants and behaviour. Many research shows that culture, sub-culture, and social classes are particularly important on determining consumer buying behaviour. Cultures vary according to demographics, language, and values. Because of these variations consumers behaviour also differs. Modern life style with huge technological development made the consumers to opt to a location for shopping where everything available easy. This resulted in the emergence of mall culture. Now malls not only attract elite customers but they also the gateway for the fun, entertainment of common people. People who visit the malls are highly conscious about the behavioural pattern and the dress sense. Those who are new to mall culture also modify their behavioural pattern as they feel the environment is seeking for the same. With this perspective the main objective of our study is to identify the influence of mall culture on the consumer behaviour and the buying decision. For the study both primary and secondary data were used. The scope of the study is confined to selected shopping malls of Mangalore city.

The electrochemical machining (ECM) is to bring highly alloyed materials to the required design configurations. The present work investigates the influence of some predominant electrolytic cavity sinking process parameters such as applied voltage, current, electrolyte concentration, pulse on time, pulse off time and duty cycle on the material removal rate (MRR) to fulfill the effective utilization of ECM of Al 6082, SiC and boron glass powder composites cast by stir casting process. This aluminium matrix composite (AMCs) can be used for making trusses, frames and containers which are used to store chemicals, milk and other corrosive liquids, it can replace stainless steel which is used in the salty environment to avoid corrosion. In this study, the influence on the removal of material, caused by ECM is analyzed.

Introduction of genes into human body in order to replace the missing gene or to correct the defective one is the main goal of gene therapy. Gene therapy is gaining importance and popularity due to its ability of curing various genetic disorders which are otherwise untreatable. Hence, the techniques for insertion of such proteins and macromolecules into the body act as areas for intensive research. One of the techniques known as electroporation uses electric field for greater permeation but has some major drawbacks. Microneedling array is another promising technique to increase permeation. Thus, these two techniques when used in combination can be very effective in gene therapy. This paper not only reviews such systems but also provides a comparative study amongst the proposed systems, concluding that indeed gene therapy can be developed at a multifold rate by utilizing electroporated microneedle arrays.

Steganography is a technique of information hiding. Today there is a very large demand of applications which require data to be transmitted in a safe and secure manner. Steganography is one of the methods used for the hidden exchange of information and it can be defined as the study of invisible communication that does not attract attention from eavesdroppers and attackers. The main requirements of any steganography system are undetectability, robustness and capacity to hide data. There has been a tremendous growth in Information and Communication technologies during the last decade. Internet has become the dominant media for data communication. But the secrecy of the data is to be taken care. Steganography is a technique for achieving secrecy for the data communicated in Internet. This paper presents a review of the steganography techniques based on pixel value differencing (PVD) method. The various techniques proposed in the literature are discussed and possible comparison is done along with their respective merits. The comparison parameters considered are, (i) hiding capacity, (ii) distortion measure, (iii) security and (iv) Computational complexity.

This present paper analyses the impact of the demonetization in two phrases Pre and Post. The period of pre phrase is during the month November-December and the post phrase is after December. The present paper shows that how the people tackle the problem of demonetization, during that period, how they curtail their expenditure. The study reveals the dependence of the people on currency during pre-phrase. The paper also analyzes whether the digitalization proposed of the government work or not during the pre-phrase and post-phrase

Brackish water aquaculture has emerged as one of the fast growing industries in the developing countries both for domestic consumption as well as for export. This industry not only generates foreign exchange to the country but also provides employment opportunities to the skilled and unskilled rural people. The present study identifies and quantifies appropriate sites for brackish water aquaculture development in coastal track of Karnataka using Remote Sensing, GPS and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). A color composite ETM+ image is used to identify the extent of brackish water and to find out suitable site for brackish water aquaculture. The remotely sensed data were complemented by secondary data digitized from a range of sources, including hard copy maps, to create a spatial database that included environmental and infrastructural data. A series of GIS models were developed in order to identify and priorities the most suitable areas for brackish water shrimp and mussel farming. Using qualitative and quantitative output from the models, the benefits of shrimp and mussel farming were compared, based on gross production, economic output and employment potential. Comparisons were made of brackish water shrimp and mussel culture with moderately saline-tolerant tilapia and prawn culture, freshwater carb culture and traditional rice production systems. Shrimp was identified as the most capital intensive and risky production system. The present study demonstrates the usefulness of GIS as an aquaculture-planning tool in a region where natural resources are already under considerable pressure.

In this paper we propose a PFC (Power Factor Correction)integrated improved three level ZVS DC-DC converter with high frequency operationfeeding from a single phase AC source. The rectifier stage is composed of four diodes in the center-tapped rectification. On the primary side of the transformer, the two transformers are connected in series. The middle node of the two transformers is connected to the neutral point of the split flying capacitors. Because it cooperates with the four-diode rectifier stage, the circulating current on the primary side of the transformer decays to zero during the freewheeling period. The zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of the leading switches is determined by energy stored in the output filter inductor, which is similar to the conventional TL converter. The output voltage comparison with input voltage and efficiency calculations are done with respect to change in load torque and the results are presented in MATLAB Simulink software.
