 Abstract

The present study attempts to examine the strength of e-journal collection in the university libraries in West Bengal. It is observed from this study that not all the university libraries in West Bengal possessed e-journal collection yet and among those having e-journal collection, there was a wide disparity seen in the number of e-journals accessible to the university libraries in West Bengal. It is also seen that there was a significant relationship in availability of e-journals between the university libraries established before 21st century and university libraries established in 21st century in West Bengal.

 Abstract

High Performance Concrete can be considered as a logical development of cement concrete in which the ingredients are proportioned and selected to contribute efficiently to the various properties of cement concrete in fresh as well as in hardened states. Higher strength is one of the features of High Performance Concrete which provides significant structural advantages. The three major components contributing to the cost of a structural member are concrete, steel reinforcement and formwork .This paper aims at comparing these major components when concrete of higher grade is used in the design and to establish that High strength concrete provides the most economical way for designing the load bearing members and to carry a vertical load to the building foundation through columns. The mix design variables affecting the concrete strength which are the most critical in the strength development of concrete includes water-cementitious material ratio, total cementitious material, cement-admixture ratio, amount of super plasticizer dose .These factors are to be analyzed in order to obtain a mix for concrete of higher grade.

 Abstract

A numbers of research are being conducted for the use of frp in the repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete member. Repair and strengthening of concrete structure using such advanced material is a great revolutionary in the field of structural engineering. Research are being carried out on reinforced concrete beam of different shapes to check the behavior of fibre reinforced polymer on shear and flexural strength of beam. Many authors have performed certain experiment for different parameter and examined the change in property of beam or member. This paper presents review on the effect of different parameter such as type of FRP sheet, dimension of structure, no. of layers of FRP etc on the behavior of RCC beam in shear and flexure. For this analysis of numbers of research is being done and their results have been used here.

Gandhi ka jivan darshan Kabir ke jivan darshan par aadharit tha aur usi darshan ko aadhar banakar swatantrata ki ladai ladi . Kabir aur Gandhi ne manav samaj ke har kshetra pr chahe wah rajnitik, sanskritik, samsajik, dharmik, aarthik ya naitik ho sabhi paksho pr apne vichar prakat kiye hai.

Sufi darshan ki niv islamic darshnik paddhti pr aadharit hai. Sufi darshan islamic rahsyavad ka prateek hai. Sufi bahya anushthano ki apeksha aantrik sat pr jyada jor dete hai. Islamic darshan me ise 'Tasawoof' ke naam se jana jata hai. Sufi darshniko ne islam ke darshnik prabhao ko grahan to kiya lekin sath hi sath kai anya darshnik prabhao ko bhi swikara tatha apne darshan ki niv rakhi. Sufi darshan pr mool prabhav islam ka hai. Islamic darshan sufi darshan ka kendra bindu hai. Sufiyo ne islam ke kuchh darshnik siddhanto ko swikar kiya lekin kuchh siddhanto ko way aswikar karte hai. Sufi darshan pr islamic darshan ke sath sath bhartiya darshan ke kuchh sampradayo, isaimat , navplatovaad ka bhi prabhav raha hai.  Abstract

This paper is an endeavor to discuss the issues and difficulties faced by novice school teachers starting out their teaching career and profession. The beginning years of school teachers are like sink or swim and they the face physiologically, psychologically and often culturally difficult situations to go ahead and handle especially in culturally, geographically, and demographically diverse societies as India has and present time which is the age of technology and knowledge explosion. Now only subject mastery is not enough to deal with teaching but it needs expertise in various fields as management, administration, decision making, policy making, pedagogy, scientific and technical knowledge, educational psychology, guidance and counseling, educational philosophy, educational sociology, prevailing national and global educational system and its history, knowledge about working condition, environment, culture, history and aims and objectives of the institution as well as society, demography and culture of that region and background of their students and a lot more. Therefore, beginning years are difficult and crucial for novice teachers to handle and retain and sustain in the profession. That is why attrition rate of teachers are more than other professions as engineering, medicine, management, administration, policy making and tourism etc. It may not be surprising to anyone that new teachers often speak of just struggling to survive during their initial years of teaching. The paper focuses on the role of induction and mentoring in supporting new teachers retaining and helping them sustain in the profession. Researchers have proven that support and help in initial periods of teaching have always played a positive role in sustaining and retaining novice teachers in the profession.
