ABSTRACT Catharanthus pusillus belonging to family Apocynaceae is known with various names in India and all over the world. It is widely used as various treatments of diseases and traditionally used as herbal medicine. The present investigation deals with the GC-MS determination of methanol extract of the above said plant. Thirty three phytochemical constituents have been identified by comparing the chromatogram, peak value of unknown compound with entries in NIST database. The presence of various bioactive compounds confirms the application of C. pusillus for various ailments. However, isolation of individual phytochemical constituent may ensue to find a novel drug. This is the first report of identification of active constituents from whole plant of C. pusillus.

David Punter wants to outline some of the limits against which critical theory is currently punishing. In doing so, he will necessary be travelling again some of the terrain already dealt with in other chapter- on psychoanalysis, for example, and on deconstruction. But his purpose is not so much to establish or describes single unified critical position as to try to demonstrate something about instability, or a set of instabilities, that are increasingly coming to characterise some areas of critical activity.

A Direct evaporative cooling system cannot cool air below wet bulb temperature, while indirect evaporative system is not much efficient in producing required temperature drop for its given size and usually works on two different fluids. The maisotsenko cycle combines both evaporative cooling and Indirect evaporative cooling in same system and gives higher COP. Maisotsenko cycle can cool beyond wet bulb temperatures, the theoretical limit being the dew point. The crossflow recuperator bleeds the product air into wet channels and exhausts it after addition of moisture by evaporation of water absorbing latent heat, thus imparting cooling effect to dry channel air for usage without additional humidity. The paper aims to develop a low power air cooler that runs on the same Maisotsenko cycle. Along with reduction in power consumption, cost reduction was also an aimed for and hence the cooler is made from easily available materials, Photo paper is used for the Heat and mass exchanger unlike other costly materials that are usually preferred.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was although a Mahar by birth but was born in a family that had already risen above traditional Mahar village service by seeking employment in the British army. He was born in a family where his grandfather was literate, father was literate and so were the women in family and therefore, there was absolutely no suspicion that Ambedkar would be educated. But education for Ambedkar was not as rosy as it was for the upper Caste as access to education was based on caste not merit. The objective of the paper is to analyse the socio-religious context under which the Maratha rulers namely Sayajirao Gaekwad of Baroda and Shahuji Maharaj of Kolhapur contributed in making Ambedkar, The Intelligentsia Ambedkar.

Collagen was extracted from Rat tail source and purified in acetic acid solution at 4 degrees Celsius for 24hours.The rat tail source collagen consists mainly the amino acids like, glycine, proline, hydroxyproline and glutamic acid. Electrophoresis pattern demonstrated two distinct ?- chains (?1 and ?2) and ? chain, indicating that collagen is a major component of rat tail, which is perform using FPLC Method, with the use of standard. we characterise the type 1 with the peaks in monitor later, and confirms the process by SDS Page study. The study demonstrated that rat tail collagen extraction and isolation method is possible as commercial alternative biomaterial

Carbon-carbon bond construction is one of the most fundamental reactions in synthetic organic chemistry.1 Many carbon-carbon bond forming reactions have been established in the literature.1-10 Grignard reaction,2 Diels-Alder reaction,3 Wittig reaction,4 aldol reaction,5 Heck reaction,6 Friedel-Crafts reaction7 etc. are few such significant reactions are very popular and famous in carbon-carbon bond forming reactions. Applications also have been well known in the past several decades.

This paper is a survey of library staff about the prison libraries in Tamil Nadu. Through Questionnaire methods, the data was collected from the Library staff. Based on the responses the collected data was analyzed. The study revealed the role of library staff in prison and their better understanding of their library. The survey revealed that the inmates also helping the library staff for the betterment of the library service to the inmates. It also revealed that the stock was maintained by the staff without having training in the library field. It is noted that there should be little more attention by the government & other sectors. The prison libraries are the place for the reformation and recreation center for the inmates.
