The vast adoption of mobile devices with cameras has greatly assisted in the proliferation of the creation and distri- bution of videos. For a variety of purposes, valuable information may be extracted from these videos. While the computational capability of mobile devices has greatly improved recently, video processing is still a demanding task for mobile devices. Given a network consisting of mobile devices and video-clouds, mobile devices may be able to upload videos to video-clouds, which are more computationally capable for these processing tasks. However, due to networking constraints, when a video processing task is initiated through a query, most videos will not likely have been uploaded to the video-clouds, especially when the query is about a recent event. We investigate the problem of minimal query response time for processing videos stored across a network; however, this problem is a strongly NP-hard problem. To deal with this, we?rst propose a greedy algorithm with bounded performance. To further deal with the dynamics of the transmission rate between mobile devices and video-clouds, we propose an adaptive algorithm. To evaluate these algorithms, we built an on-demand video processing system. Based on the mea- surements of the system, we perform simulations to extensively evaluate the proposed algorithms. We also perform experiments on a small testbed to examine the realized system performance. Results show the performance of the greedy algorithm is close to the optimal and much better than other approaches, and the adaptive algorithm performs better with more dynamic transmission rates.

This project is intended to present the Health, Safety & Environment Best Practices guidance to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Practices for the Management of the Health, Safety & Environment for the Road Transport of Petroleum Products. Oil Marketing companies have a very strong commitment to health, safety & Environment (HSE).There Goals are simply- No Accidents, No Harm to people and no damage to the Environment. Transporters as important Business Partners, have a critical role in the achievement of these goals. Throughout road transportation of petroleum products, motor vehicle accidents are one of the primary causes of injury to employees, contractors and third parties. Significant property damage, disruption of service and product spills also result. The HSE BPs describe the guiding principles and management practices for Transporters to specifically focus on providing the right people, equipment and supportive environment so that the driver is an engaged, safe driver, making a difference on the road. The benefits that come from improved HSE performance include decreased costs and increased employee satisfaction.

Abstract : Grape seed extract (GSE) is a complex mixture of several compounds, mostly represented by polyphenols and phenolic acids. Their consumption is safe and is recognized to exert several and meaningful health benefits. In particular, grape-related anti-tumoral activity encompasses a wide array of biological mechanisms and cellular targets, eventually leading to inhibition of cell growth and to enhanced apoptosis in several cancer cell lines, including lung, colon, breast, bladder, leukemia and prostate tumors. Those effects are likely modulated at the molecular level through selectively modulating the redox balance and displaying anti-oxidant as well as pro-oxidant actions, according to the specific context. GSE-related anti-cancer activity mostly relies on the induced increase in reactive oxygen species, followed by the orchestrated down- and up-regulation of several key-molecular pathways, including MAPK kinases, PI3K/Akt, NF-kB, cytoskeleton proteins and metalloproteinases. This review will focus on Grape seed extract (GSE) may have a great relevance as source of potential new pharmacological molecules, and could represent an important opportunity for clinical research in the context of cancer.

One of the major criteria for the success of a publication is readiness of the target group to use the information provided by it. There for the present study an effort has been made to know the extent of utilization of the content of the articles of Rajasthan Kheti Pratap. The study was conducted in Bhinder panchayat samiti of Udaipur district, Rajasthan. The sample consisted of selected 100 readers from four villages of Bhinder i.e. vallabhnagar, Bhinder, Bhatevar and Vana. Personal interview technique was used for collecting data from the respondents. Frequency distribution, percentage, mean percent score were used for analysis of data. Majority of the respondents had a favourable opinion towards the utilization of articles on agriculture published in the farm magazine.

This paper presents the design of vapor absorption refrigerating system of capacity 1 tonne based on the basic concepts of thermodynamic principles. In design the area of all the major components of the system is calculated on the basis of enthalpy parameters at different points in the system. The data is analyzed using the first and second laws of thermodynamics to determine the refrigerating effect, the net heat required to run the system and the coefficient of performance (COP). Refrigerant used in the system is Ammonia (R717) and water is used as Absorbent. Solar energy is utilized as heat input in absorber.
