Customers are gradually moving towards shopping online albeit with several challenges yet to be addressed by online retailers. Shopping in an online environment provides access to a plethora of information about products and services, customer reviews, variety of products, and all this at the cost of spending less time compared to visiting physical retail stores. The question is as to how successful is the engagement strategy of online retailers and how this impacts future purchase intentions and subsequent loyalty intentions. A study was undertaken to examine and analyse these aspects. 416 online shoppers who were well acquainted with the online retailer were surveyed at Chennai to elicit their perception levels and behavioural intentions. Regression analysis was performed on the primary data and the insights thereof are presented.

Loss of tooth is a common problem and its replacement has evolved from removable dentures and fixed dentures to dental implants. The ultimate aim of Prosthetic dentistry is replacement of missing teeth so as to restore function and to a certain extent aesthetics. An implant eliminate the need of deriving support from the oral mucosa in a partially edentulous case, as well as reduces the necessity to derive support from one or more adjacent teeth and focuses on deriving the support from the underlying bone mimicking a natural tooth. Deficiency of residual bone has been a challenge since the inception of implant dentistry. Utilizing a strong basal bone as a support has opened up a new arena in this aspect without the use of graft. Hybrid implants are one such alternative in the functional and aesthetic restoration in regions of narrow residual ridges.

A highly efficient one-pot, solvent-free method for the synthesis of cyclic dithiocarbamates was developed through the reaction of corresponding primary amines, carbon disulfide and 2-(1-oxoacenaphthylen-2(1H)-ylidene)malononitrile employing in the presence of catalytic amount of Triton-B (Benzyl trimethyl ammonium hydroxide). The reaction conditions are milder with extremely simple work-up procedures than the reported methods, afforded the title compounds in high yields (82-98%) of desired product.

Shotcrete is a concrete conveyed through a hose and sprayed pneumatically at a high velocity onto a receiving surface. Pneumatic application ensures proper compaction of shotcrete. It helps in achieving high strengths and low permeability. It has immense applications in slope-stabilization, tunneling and domes. In this paper, the use of shotcrete as slope-stabilizing agent in USBRL project(J&K) of Br. No. 87 A1-P1 is practically accomplished.
