The contact stress in the mating gears is the key parameter in gear design. This paper presents the stress analysis of mating teeth of spur gear to find maximum contact stress in the gear teeth. The results obtained from Finite Element Analysis (FEA) are compared with theoretical Hertzian equation values. For the analysis, steel, grey cast iron, aluminium alloy and ASTM A572 HSLA steel are used as the materials of spur gear. The spur gears are sketched, modeled and assembled in CATIA V5. As Finite Element Method (FEM) is the easy and accurate technique for stress analysis, FEA is done in finite element software ANSYS Workbench 18.1. Also deformation for steel, grey cast iron, aluminium alloy and ASTM A572 HSLA steel is obtained as efficiency of the gear depends on its deformation. The results show that the difference between maximum contact stresses obtained from Hertz equation and Finite Element Analysis is very less and it is acceptable. The deformation patterns of steel, grey cast iron, aluminium alloy and ASTM A572 HSLA steel gears depict that the difference in their deformation is negligible.

The aim to build generative classifiers is to estimate the joint probability p(x, y) indirectly, estimating the conditional likelihood p(x|y) and the prior probability p(y). To predict the likely class that maximizes the posterior probability p(y|x) using Bayes rule. The paper propose a generative classifier which estimates the joint distribution directly through a data modelling mechanism called mass estimation. The generative classifier makes prediction based on decision rule that maximizes mass, better than Bayes rule.

Abstract- Crude oil plays a very significant role in the development of economy of any country. Any slight change in the prices of crude oil causes a direct or indirect effect on the production level of any country. Due to fluctuations in crude oil price the stock market also gets disturbed. This paper attempts to analyse the reasons for fluctuations in the prices of crude oil and how these fluctuations affects the stock prices of NSE by taking three particular stock for the time period (2008-2017).Since in the mentioned period many historic and global events like Global Recession (2008), Arab Spring (2011) etc. happened hence they are also taken into account. The study employed trend analysis and regression as statistical tools. The results concluded that the historic events had major impact on the crude oil prices and there was a significant impact of fluctuations on stock market in particular to three stocks (ONGC, IOC, Reliance Ind.) of NSE.

The aim of this paper is to study the different types of superchargers and turbo chargers in modern trends and those how far useful in now a days, as a demand of new efficient and eco friendly engines is incrementing new technologies are developing. Due to the rich air fuel mixture combustion emission will increase hence by turbo-charging the engine more power can be obtained with low emission. The behavior of IC engine with application of turbo/super charger and need of turbo/super charger installation is studied by observing of its effects. The environmental atmospheric density reduces with the increased altitude. However, boost pressure recovery cannot make sure the power recovery of diesel engines due to the changing overall system efficiency and pumping process. The principle aim of the designer is to improved power output by minimizing the exhaust emissions like CO, CO2, NOx ect.., the power output of a naturally aspirated engine depends on amount of air inducted into the engine cylinder, extent of utilization of the inducted air, the speed of the engine, quantity of the fuel admitted and its combustion characteristics, thermal efficiencies of the engine. Supercharger may also Called as forced induction to increase the power output of the engine. It is a pressure boosting device which supplies air or mixture at a higher pressure to the engine cylinder is mostly applicable for modern applications like racing cars, marine and automotive engines where weight and spaces are important.
