Due to its expandability, resource-sharing and cost-efficiency, Cloud has been an inevitable part of day to day life and its usage has drastically increased in last decade. Because of this, number of data centers across the globe as increased severely which has resulted into huge energy consumption. Efficient mapping of virtual machines on physical machines may result into enhancement in resource utilization which in turn reduces number of active physical machines. Energy is directly dependent on number of active servers and other components. Hence, reduction in total number of active servers results into reduction in overall power consumption in data center. In this research survey, we aim to study various existing research addressing the issue of energy consumption in Cloud data center using efficient VM scheduling. This survey shall focus on various VM scheduling techniques, their pros and cons, and shall help the researchers in selecting the approaches approach for their work.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD), a significant and ever-growing problem is now the world's foremost reason of death leading to serious morbidity and mortality, demanding 17.3 million lives every year [1]. Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common type of CVD causing death all over the world. Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) is a non-invasive cardiac imaging modality which is used for the cardiac disease diagnosis. Cardiac vessel extraction is necessary in clinical scenario for cardiac image analysis of CCTA datasets. Hence this paper gives a detailed survey of various cardiac vessel extraction techniques available in the literature used for the diagnosis of CAD. The paper also presents the performance results of Frangi's vesselness measure of various 3D cardiac images.

A distributed system is a collection of autonomous computers with the aim of enhancing resource sharing. In this paper we present an overview of a survey of resource management in distributed system with different approach. The cooperation among all agents achieves the management of the whole system and is the foundation for a fair and efficient resource mapping for all applications, regardless of whether the applications are executed in parallel or not. Whenever a client issues a request for a resource it is firstly checked onto itself and if the requested resource is not available there then it makes a request to its immediate server. If it also fails at its immediate server then with the help of information server the request is broadcasted in the network. If this request reaches a server who is possessing the resource then an acknowledgement will be passed to the server in the network which was responsible for generating the request. Our main aim is to have efficient resource discovery in a decentralised manner for the distributed architecture.

Have you ever wondered how amazon advertises the products you intend to buy on your social media timeline? Or, why brands are increasingly launching their promotional campaigns on the YouTube? These strategies are just a proverbial tip of the iceberg of digital marketing revolution that has peaked since its fledgling steps found their way into your email inbox as spam at the turn of this millennium. Consider this: For the first time in the history of advertising, television was thrown off its numero uno pedestal in terms of advertisement revenue generated, by digital ad-spending in 2017. In the light of increasing digital advertising, we look at how consumer behaviour has been altered by the groundbreaking promotional strategies that have created a unique ecosystem of highly personalized and interactive means of sharing product information and converting potential interest into sales.

Depleting reserves of petroleum fuel and increasing consequence of use of these fuel forces that use to develop the alternative energy sources. One method of the producing on-demand hydrogen for fuel cells is through the use of aluminum by water splitting. This can be used for applications as small as portable handheld devices, onboard generation for vehicles, or as large as a hydrogen refueling center. Hydrogen has all types of properties to be an ideal future fuel. The main problem is use of hydrogen as a fuel is its availability and transportation. In this project, we evaluated the method of production of hydrogen from water splitting reaction using metal hydrogen. The Sodium Hydroxide used as an activation agent. Experimental investigation of hydrogen generation with different parameter has been studied in a flow reactor. Effect of parameter like flow rate of sodium hydroxide, concentration of the sodium hydroxide and the quantity of aluminum has been studied & reported. The flow rate of activator ranges from 0.2 ml/min to 10 ml/min and concentration of the activator ranges from 0.5N to 1.5N. These parameters were optimized for the generation of hydrogen. The above method implies that the flow rate and the concentration of the activator is directly proportional to the time required.

The rapid growth of infrastructure and technology has made our lives easier. The inventions in technology have also increased the road accidents and traffic hazards which causes loss of human life and property because of the poor emergency facilities. This paper provides an optimum solution to this problem. In two wheeler accident alert systems if the speed of two wheelers (Bike) goes beyond the safety limit say to 80Km/hr then immediately alert message goes to parents, and if the accident takes place then immediately call goes to parents informing them of the exact scenario. This is useful in detecting the speed and accident by means of speed sensor and accident sensor. As there is a scope for future improvement, we can add GPS system which will help us to know about the exact location of the accident which will help in understanding the occurrence location of accident and will be very useful to trace the vehicle.

A comparative study was conducted on Academic Achievement of B.Ed students of science subjects. Participants in the study were 100 students, where 50 boys and 50 girls from science stream of different B.Ed colleges at Kolkata. The obtained academic score referred year wise performance of students. The achievement scores were calculated by using the Mean, Paired t-test of significance and One Way ANOVA. Results indicated that academic achievement profile of boys significantly differs from that of girls, though girls had a higher mean score of achievement than boys. The gradual progress of boys and girls in three consecutive years is also differs from each other.
