 Abstract

Image retrieval has been one of the most interesting and vivid research areas in the field of computer vision over the last decades. Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) basically is a technique to perform retrieval of the images from a large database which are similar to image given as query.CBIR systems are used in order to automatically index, search, retrieve, and browse image databases. Every image is very rich in the information hence if you use different features in an image for comparison purpose then the performance of system will improve. In this paper we are extracting color feature by using RGB, HIS extraction also this color feature is integrated with texture extraction. For extracting Texture wavelet transform is used. We have compared different techniques as well as the combination of different features and compared the results. By using an integrated approach of image retrieval the the efficiency of system is increased. We have also compared the effect of different matching techniques on the image retrieval .

 Abstract

Abstract-An alternative renewable energy sources such as solar-photovoltaic/Wind is an integrated form which are connected together to produce electrical power to the consumers under standalone system. Distributed generators can provide high reliability by providing on-site generation. As a result of this many hybrid systems like PV cells, fuel cells, micro turbines, wind, diesel and small hydro systems. The distributed generation system having Photo Voltaic (PV), wind turbine and diesel generator is simulated and analyzed. This paper gives simulation results of PV-Wind-Diesel hybrid system under standalone conditions. HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Models for Energy Resources) power optimization software by NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) is used to simulate and analyze the PV-Wind-Diesel hybrid system.

 Abstract

The Internet has become an integral part of the life and business. It has contributed to a change in society, significant impact on business, manufacturing, service industry, government services, critical infrastructure, security setup and other fundamental aspects of modern society. Mobile technology, Internet, cloud computing and advances in networking through fourth and fifth generation technology has brought everything on the palmtop. With the advancement in the technology, more use and reliability on the Internet in various businesses and government services has contributed to the increase in cybercrime. Criminals are harnessing the Internet for committing the crime. Economic gain is the primary motive to commit the crime. Now, cyber economic crimes are the significant portion of the cyber crimes in India. Cyber crimes and cyber economic crimes are increasing at an alarming rate in India. Mumbai, being a financial capital, accounts for more number of cyber economic crimes in India. While responding to the new phenomenon of the cyber economic crime, the traditional criminal justice system is facing various challenges. Technical, Operational, Legal and Human resource are main four types of challenges that all the stakeholders of the criminal justice system facing while dealing with cybercrime

 Abstract

In year 2015, the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing the social, economical and environment aspects by the General Assembly of United Nation with people in the centre stage to eradicate poverty and prosperity for all on a safe planet, is an unprecedented endeavour for transformation of the world. The agenda includes 17 SDGs: No poverty, Zero hunger, Good health and well being, Quality education, Gender equality, Clean water and sanitation, Affordable and clean energy, Decent work and economic growth, Industry, innovation and infrastructure, Reduced inequality, Sustainable cities and communities, Responsible consumption and production, Climate action, Life below water, Life on land, Peace justice and strong institutions and Partnership for goals, which are further refined to 169 targets (UN, 2017). It may seem utopian task of achieving the goals of no poverty, health and education, safe drinking water, affordable and clean energy etc. for all by the target date of year 2030. The challenge of achieving universal goals requires deeper and faster transformation of societies. Business-As-Usual (BAU) approach simply cannot deliver; Government needs to harness all the tools at their disposal-technology, finance, policy and partnership as means of delivery. The role of effective, accountable, transparent and inclusive public institutions is vital to build peaceful, just and inclusive societies. Public institutions need to mobilize private institutions and communities to achieve SDGs. The capacities and innovations in public institutions are to be enhanced for equitable and effective service delivery for all, particularly for the vulnerable groups and poorest. Information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly broadband connectivity can be the game changer to get us off BAU path for achieving SDGs. The purpose of the research paper is to identify the e-Governance policy framework adopted by Government of India for building accountable, transparent and inclusive service delivery institutions, development of digital infrastructure and empowerment of people, which contributes towards sustainable development.

 Abstract

The main aim of the study was to assess the psychological wellbeing of the infertile women. Quantitative research approach, non-experimental descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The main study was conducted with 60 samples using non probability convenient sampling technique. Data collection was done for a period of 3 days. The study was conducted at Roshini Aruna Infertility Hospital, Cuddalore. Analysis of the study identified the psychological wellbeing of women with infertility, association of the psychological wellbeing of infertile women with their selected socio demographic variables. The study finding reveals that, none of women had good level of wellbeing, maximum (53.4%) of women had average level of psychological wellbeing and minimum (46.6%) of women had poor level of well-being. According to overall mean standard deviation wise distribution of women showed that the mean was (126.18) and the standard deviation was( 28.47)and (p<0.05).

 Abstract

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is actually first stock exchange of India. It is also the first stock exchange of Asia as well as the it is the Fastest Stock Exchange on the planet. Earlier researches on Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in Indian context happen to give major importance to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) only rather than National Stock Exchange (NSE) or any other local exchange. The study seeks to find if Indian IPOs tend to be underpriced in short run. The study also tries to describe underpricing on day one with regard to the demand created throughout the book building process of IPO, the delay in listing which is the time period around the closing of the book building process and day the shares get listed on the exchange, the price at which the shares were issued and the size of the issue. Additionally, it tries to comprehend any kind of growing pattern in issue market of India with regards to the prior studies. Initial public offerings getting underpriced can prove to be a severe concern for virtually every economy. On one side, excessive underpricing trend within the IPO market makes companies, that are not in a position to or simply do not desire underpricing to lose confidence in IPOs. Alternatively, it generates arbitrage opportunities in the exchanges as well as within the grey market of IPO. Issues getting underpriced, as a result hinders the expansion prospects as well as generates lack of stability within the secondary markets. The current research on 107 IPOs which used book building mechanism, for the period of January 2012 to December 2017, discovered that the typical underpricing in those times was 9.44 % whilst the utmost underpricing had been close to 139.40%. Hence IPO underpricing continues to be a problem. The outcomes of the study claim that the demand produced for an IPO in the course of book building as well as the Issue Size had a positive influence on the underpricing on day one, whilst the Issue Price and Listing delay of the IPO had an insignificant impact.

 Abstract

Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that are arbitrarily located so that the interconnection between nodes is dynamically changing. In this paper an attempt has been made to explore the analysis work for 5 different routing algorithms (AODV, DSR, OLSR, GRP and TORA) with 2 parameters like delay and throughput. The above work has been simulated through software OPNET 14.5 and has been compared for each nodes group for particular algorithms. In this work, a comparative study is made between different node groups for particular specific algorithm using IEEE802.11g standard with constant speed of 36Mbps. All traffic node groups (20, 40, 60) are compared for 5 different routing algorithms in terms of delay and throughput.
