 Abstract

Degradation of moral values among young generation is an important contemporary issue in India. Values are ideas held by people about ethical behavior or appropriate behavior, what is right or what is wrong, what is desirable or despicable. Human values are the doctrine, standards, convictions and beliefs that people adopt as their course of action in daily activities. Principal human values are the foundation on which professional ethics are built. They are a set of consistent measures and behaviors that individuals choose to practice in the pursuit of doing what is right or what is expected of them by society. But now a day youth is adversely diverted through different immoral activities which does not only influence the present Indian society but also it stimulates the future generation of our civilization. Therefore, it is very important and a duty of everybody to find out the solution of this crucial problem to establish India in the world of peace and harmony that is very much dependent over the hand of youth generation. In this context, this paper examines the relevancy of thoughts and ideas of Swami Vivekananda to encounter the present crisis of the youth.

The paper is an attempt to discuss how Mahesh Dattani and Vijay Tendulkar have highlighted the miseries of women folk in society. The cruelty inflicted on women exposes the intricate working of a patriarchal system that is instrumental in marginalizing them by giving them neither the rights nor access to resources. Dattani and Tendulkar, have written at different times and their canvass has been different but both have raised this issue through their plays. Both reflect on role change and rise of the feminine gender struggling with the dominant discourses of the system to gain the respect and a space of their own. Issues and problems associated especially with females- have been staged with the motive of changing the socio-cultural psyche conditioned by the dominant discourses.

 Abstract

The transportation in India fails to follow the scheduled timetable and puts the common man in to trouble. A person sitting inside a bus stop is unable to get the information where the bus has reached. These passengers often faces difficulty in taking the decision of whether it would be quicker to wait for the next bus or to walk or to hire a cab/rickshaw to reach his/her destination. Every day we see people going late to work, students late to their classes, just because they decide to wait for the bus instead of just using an alternate transportation .If passengers had an easy way to see which bus is near to their location and approximate time at what time bus reached the location, in real-time, they could make a more accurate, informed decision of whether or not to wait at a stop. The scope of this proposed web application is to build a system where a person inside the bus station or at any bus stop can get the information of the buses current position. This web application provide a easy way to passenger to see which bus is near to their location and the location of bus which the passenger have selected. This proposed web application give real time bus location information to passenger or people who are waiting for bus ,in bus stand or in any bus stop without installing GPS device in bus. The bus real time location information is manually inserted and updated by bus conductor by using this web application.

 Abstract

Abstract Mahatma Gandhi national rural employment guarantee scheme is one such sort of wage based and employment scheme implemented in India for the sake of rural development. It is plays a significant role in the inclusion of various segments of the people actively participate them in the process of development by providing at least 100 days work in the financial year. This scheme is providing various opportunities of the people those who are unskilled labours and adult persons. The present study focuses the inclusion of disabilities in Shivamogga district under MGNREGA. MGNREGA plays significant role in the inclusion of disabilities person by providing employment opportunities. The present study is based on secondary sources of data gathered from various books, articles, journals, census report, and rural development reports. The objective of the present study is to know the employment opportunities provided to person worker disabilities under MGNREGA in the year from 2015-16 to 2017-18 in Shivamogga District and to indentify the inclusion of disabilities after implementation of MGNREGA, in Shivamogga district.

Egg (Ovum) donation gives an opportunity to infertile women to get their own biological child. Creating awareness regarding Egg donation promotes the knowledge among women.After the Video assisted teaching 31 (51.7%) women gained adequate knowledge and 29 (48.3%) women gained moderately adequate knowledge on Egg donation. Thus Video Assisted Teaching was very effective.

 Abstract

Marotti oil, one of the non edible oils available in India, was esterified to produce biodiesel. The optimized procedure for biodiesel development from marotti oil involves a two stage process. The free fatty acid content of the selected oil is 4.5% which necessitates the two stage process. The free fatty acid content is reduced to less than 3% by the acid esterification process and biodiesel is produced in the alkaline transesterification process. The optimum conditions of the biodiesel production were established by studying the effects of various parameters like methanol to oil ratio, catalyst concentration, reaction temperature and reaction time. A conversion efficiency of 92% was attained and the different properties are found to be in the limits specified by biodiesel standards.
