The present study was conducted to explore difference in academic stress and academic performance among the higher secondary students with respect to their gender and to estimate the relation between academic stress and academic performance of the students of class XI of Bengali medium higher secondary schools affiliated to the West Bengal Council of Higer Secondary Education in Malda District, West Bengal. The researchers adopted the Academic Stress Scale consisted of forty items developed by Kim (1970) and adopted by Rajendran and Kaliappan (1990) and Rao (2012) and the scores obtained by the students in Madhyamik Examination were taken for the study. The researchers applied the Pearson Product Moment Method to find out the said relation and t-tests to find out the difference among the sub-samples. The present study found that there is a significant difference in academic stress and also revealed that there is a significant difference in academic performance due to the gender of the students of class XI. The present study explored negative correlation between the academic stress and academic performance of the students.

This work is concerned with spectral Jacobi - collocation methods for Volterra integral equations of the second kind with a weakly singular of the form When the underlying solutions are sufficiently smooth, the convergence analysis was carried out in [ Chen and Tang, J. Comput. Appl. Math.,233(2009), pp. 938 - 9450 ]; due to technical reasons the results are restricted to $ 0 < mu < 1/2 $ In this work, we will improve the results to the general case $ 0 < mu < 1 $ and demonstrate that the numerical errors decay exponentially in the infinity and weighted norms when the smooth solution is involved.

Currently many superior image compression strategies have been proposed in response to the increasing demands for medical image to store at very excessive quality and for efficient compression. Instead of lossless compression we used diagnostically suited lossy compression (Irreversible Compression) to lessen facts length for garage, coping with and transmitting content. At present JPEG 2000 is normally used compression format for medical images shared using DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) general. However JPEG 2000 isn't always efficiently used for storing series images and 3D images. So we choose new format HEVC with the intention to offer better compression efficiently as compared to JPEG 2000. HEVC is a maximum current standardized video compression generation that is evolved by way of Joint Collaborative Team on Video Coding (JCT-VC).Generally for medical images consisting of CT, CR, MR, and Digital Radiography the bit intensity is 1024 or 4096. HEVC range is appropriate for scientific photos programs. It offers more bit rate reduction while maintaining the identical subjective image excellent relative to its predecessor H.264/AVC. With HEVC, intra encoding complexity can be reduced with negligible increase in file length.

ABSTRACT In recent times, Distance Education has emerged as a boon to women of all ages to equip themselves intellectually through acquisition of knowledge, leading them to new radical methods of thinking, and alternative, lateral perspectives on existing information thus rendering them more autonomous and liberated. It reviews aspects of Gender and distance learning, participatory trends of women in distance learning in India, barriers affecting single lady parent advancement in academia, impact of distance learning on single lady women learners, limitations of distance education technologies, the Indian experience of distance learning. Women form the pivotal point around whom family life and living revolves. When economic level of a family goes down, women are the worst sufferers especially when she is a single mother. The poorer the family the greater is its dependence on women's economic productivity. Also illiteracy among women often leads to a poor self-image, lack of knowledge and self-worth, making them susceptible to being deprived of their rights and playing an active role in the society and restricts their economic productivity. Literacy among women opens the possibility of unlimited exposure to new information and more importantly to new ways of thinking and new perspectives on existing information. The Indian government envisions creating a middle-income, knowledge-based society with a middle class of entrepreneurs as the backbone of development processes in which women and men equally participate. As a result, many women have been starting businesses and the percentage of female owned enterprises in the capital currently is increasing. Nevertheless, a lack of education and skills has been identified as performance barrier of women owned enterprises self-employed women have indicated a need of specially designed MBA for education and training in order to improve their business practices. This study investigates the exact nature of these education needs and identifies what entrepreneurship education programmes are currently offering to look for similarities and discrepancies.

Account compromization is a serious issue to users of Online Social Networks(OSN). while spam accounts establishes the trust between account owners and their friends to spread malicious spam. Detecting compromised accounts is not easy due to trust relationships between the providers , account owners and their friends. In this paper, we study the activities and behavior of the OSN users, i.e.,by usage of OSN services.with more than one billion users worldwide, OSN is a new venue of innovation with many problems. We capture the user behavior by observing for how long user connects and what activities they do. we evaluate the capability of the social behavior profiles in distinguishing different OSN users, and our experimental results shows the social behavioral profile can accurately differentiate individual OSN user and detects compromised account.
