Withania somnifera (Family; Solanaceae) is commonly known as Ashwagandha and is used in traditionally system of medicine since long time. Many compounds have been reported from the root part of the plant. In present study, comparative evaluation of microbial consortium and uninoculated control plant root collected from different geographically sources was done by HPLC. Methanol soluble root extract of the plant was subjected to Column chromatography to isolate and purify the phyto-constituents which can be termed as markers. Three compounds were isolated and purified. Compounds were characterized as withanone and withaferin-A. The third compound was found to be impure. Novel HPLC methods were developed for assessment of purity, for standardization and for estimation of the compounds. Simplicity of isolation and HPLC analysis for the compounds suggests that the compounds may be termed as markers for the standardization of the methanol extracts and preparations containing Withania somnifera.

: Handwritten character recognition is an area of pattern recognition. It is the most challenge problem in pattern recognition. This paper presents the techniques for solving the challenges and problems of Amharic handwritten character recognition. In Amharic character, there is visual similarity of shape and large in number. In this paper, combined feature extraction techniques, such as zoning based and histogram of oriented gradients features are used. Multiclass support vector machine used as a classifier. We trained and tested our approach on 21,420 Amharic handwritten character data set and Chars74K (40 handwritten character image for each digit) benchmark numeric data set. we validated our model using 10-fold cross validation

Guillotine Dampers are mostly recommended for heavy duty, 100% leak proof and gas tight isolation of duct. Their design permits to be installed into a short length of ductwork. Pressure drop is low across the wide-open damper. Guillotine blades are also better able to withstand furnace puffs and mild over pressure conditions than some other damper designs. Guillotine performance needs can vary from a simple chain fall blanking plate design to fully automated 100% gas tight perfect guillotine. Guillotine dampers are very well suited for applications needing total isolation where low leakage is an essential requirement. The integral mechanical components of a guillotine damper are flap, peripheral seal system, external support members and a drive to move the flap steadily, continuously & uniformly.

Spring is a mechanical element which is used to reduce the shocks and vibrations in any vehicle. In Railways we have two different types of suspensions which absorb the shocks and vibrations and balance the entire system under dynamic conditions. The springs both primary and secondary suspensions which have been using for the passenger railway trains are single coil helical suspension springs. Here in this paper the railway primary suspension spring is considered for the study. The concentric springs which have more than one spring with same central axis can able to bear the loads and withstand to the stresses and deformations better compared to the single helical coil springs. So, here in this present study the locomotive primary suspension is replaced with the concentric springs which have two springs with same axis one inside of the other spring. Chromium vanadium steel material is taken for the analyses of both the concentric and helical coil springs. The both concentric spring and helical coil springs are designed in Solidworks modeling software. Static, modal analyses are conducted in finite element analysis commercial tool ANSYS 15.0. The stress distributions, displacements are analyzed in Static analysis. The natural Frequencies and mode shapes are analyzed in Modal analysis. Comparison of stresses, deformations and natural frequencies for both the single helical coil primary suspension spring and replaced concentric springs are studied to determine better spring.

The uses of biodiesel are increasingly popular because of their low impact on environment. However, it causes combustion problems in conventional diesel engine [CE]. Hence it is proposed to use the biodiesel in low heat rejection (LHR) diesel engines with its significance characteristics of higher operating temperature, maximum heat release, and ability to handle the lower calorific value (CV) fuel etc,. In this work, biodiesel from linseed was used as sole fuel in both versions of the combustion chamber. Engine with LHR combustion chamber was developed with ceramic coating on inside portion of cylinder head by partially stabilized zirconia of 0.5 mm thickness. The experimental investigations were carried out on a four stroke, single cylinder, DI, 3.68 kW at a speed of 1500 rpm, In this investigation, comparative studies on performance parameters was made on CE and engine with LHR combustion chamber with different operating conditions of biodiesel with varied injector opening pressure and injection timing. CE showed compatible performance while LHR combustion chamber showed improved performance with biodiesel operation in comparison with pure diesel operation on CE

Context: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, relapsing skin disorder that affects all ages including infancy and childhood. There are many proved and unproved treatments for atopic dermatitis. Evidence Acquisition: Data sources of this narrative review included studies about pediatric atopic dermatitis with the following keywords, pediatric, atopic dermatitis, immunity, acute, chronic, pruritic inflammatory skin disorder, infancy, childhood, diagnosis, management and treatment. All of the articles were written in English language with full text on management or treatment. Results: Innate and adaptive immune system involved atopic dermatitis. Major characteristics of atopic dermatitis include pruritus, chronic or relapsing lesions and personal or family history of atopic disease. There is no specific treatment for atopic dermatitis. The treatment included rehydration, emollients, topical steroid, calcineurin inhibitors and immunosuppressant. Crisaborole topical ointment, a PDE4 anti-inflammatory topical agent (phase three of the research) could be effective in atopic dermatitis. Conclusions: Avoidance from trigger factors and emollients are basic treatments of atopic dermatitis.

Football fan culture has evolved immensely from sitting passively in front of a television screen, to live tweeting, live videos and an active involvement with the football team, players and management. This shows a development in interactivity between football fans and their favourite clubs through the use of social media. This study looks into football fans in Bangalore and their response to how football clubs on social media affects interactivity. Via social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube), professional football clubs provide minute to minute updates, information and details about games, transfers, injuries. This creates a direct link between football fans and clubs and allows two-way communication through comments, replies, tweets. The researcher aims to understand the effect of social media on increasing the interactivity between football fans and clubs.
