 Abstract

The objective of this project is to provide an efficient navigation assist to overcome the limitations of conventional methods employed for the differently abled and visually impaired. This is achieved by employing sensors like MEMS accelerometer, Obstacle detection sensor. Use of ultrasound based ranging enhances the horizontal and vertical range of the obstacle detection. Also, with a simple twist of wrist, the wheelchair can be moved in the desired direction. Bluetooth module is also used to control the wheel chair by smart phone with the help of a specially designed application. Special three-wheel structure is used which helps the wheel chair climb pavements or staircases. The person sitting on the wheel chair himself can move it through gesture controlled mechanism providing independent mobility for the visually challenged and differently abled as well.

 Abstract

Use of composite started from World War II in marine application for military .Now today composites are used in all sectors including aerospace, automotive, marine, boating, sporting goods, and infrastructure. In order to study mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced hybrid resin composite. Hybrid resin consist of two different types of resins in which ploybenzimidizole (GAZOLE 5200P) is used because it has very high chemical and thermal stability and vinyl ester is used in order to increase its strengths, corrosion resistance .In our project we have developed glass fiber reinforced hybrid resin using hand lay-up method .

 Abstract

Composite materials are commercially recognized since last three decades due to their excellent mechanical properties. This work is to create an endeavor to boost the mechanical and thermal properties. The objective of the analysis is to see the optimum concentration of constituents to possess best set of properties. In the present work the effect of addition of polybenzamidazole on mechanical and thermal properties of glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin is studied. The woven glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin is fabricated by hand lay-up technique. The polybenzamidazole in powder form was used as filler material. The concentration of filler material within the matrix is varied to possess clear understanding concerning the impact on properties of the composite. The glass fiber 1200 G.S.M and the resin concentration would be varied. Tensile tests and flexural tests were conducted according to the ASTM standards. The result data thus obtained from the tests is useful in assessing the feasibility of glass fiber composite in mechanical applications and for thermal stability.

 Abstract

In India in protection and development of women many voices raises time to time for their libration and equality. Many reformers fought for the rights of the women. Gandhiji was one of them who favor of women empowerment documented the importance of women in societal and environmental development. In India in protection and development of women many voices raises time to time for their lubrication and equality. This paper discusses the importance of women in rural development or can say rural development verses women empowerment.

 Abstract

This paper examines that issues with international careers with Indian expatriates host countries and how they reconcile their conflicts between personal and work. International staff mobility has emerged a major strategic issue for multinational companies and expatriate numbers are expected to continue to rise steadily over the next decade (Harvey and Moeller, 2009). Although significant improvements have taken place in the workplace status of gender discrimination still exists especially in international postings, which are usually considered positive in terms of career advancement, salary increases, and managerial appointments. Even though percentages of expatriates working in overseas are increasing. Research on repatriation, however, indicates that many former expatriate employees feel that their overseas assignments harmed, rather than helped, their careers, and that they do not get the recognition they deserve (cf., Black and Gregersen, 1999).

 Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the largest cause of blindness that occurs to the retina due to diabetes mellitus. It is a serious sight-threatening complication of diabetes. Around 80 percent of the people having diabetes for 20 years or more are affected with diabetic retinopathy. Blood vessels in retina play a vital role in medical diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy. In addition, many diseases like hypertension, autoimmune disorders, high cholesterol, and cancer can also be detected. Segmentation of blood vessels is helpful for ophthalmologists to detect patients suffering with diabetic retinopathy. Imaging and computer vision systems offer the ability to quantitatively determine the human physiology. Manual interpretation requires tremendous amount of work, expertise, and processing time. Automated segmentation offers a varied range of applications in the field of biomedical imaging. In this project, an algorithm comprising optimized Gabor filter with local entropy Thresholding was utilized for automatic segmentation of blood vessels. The frequency and orientation of Gabor filter is tuned to match part of blood vessels that are to be enhanced. The classification of blood vessel pixels is done using local entropy Thresholding technique. The proposed algorithm is evaluated on the DRIVE database and is shown to provide an average accuracy (ACC) of 97.72% and sensitivity (Se) of 98.15%. Results indicate that the proposed approach presents a path toward precise and automated diabetic retinopathy diagnosis on a massive scale.

 Abstract

Demonetisation has been one of the most important and impactful financial event of our time. India being a cash-centric economy needed a force to become a cashless economy. Apart from the direct motives such as eradicating black money, money laundering, the hidden and important motive was to transform India a cashless economy. Cashless economy means an economy in which people use digital payments methods such as credit cards-wallets to make payments. Demonetisation was a progressive move towards making the economy less concentrated on cash. The government had demonetised the high value denominations which created a major cash crunch in the economy. To encourage people and compensate for the inconvenience caused to the people, the modi government started various benefits and concessions on cashless transaction. Thus, motivating people to use cards, e-wallets etc. to make transactions. Demonetisation created many inroads for the Indian economy in becoming a cashless economy. This paper emphasises on studying the path of India towards a cashless economy.
