 Abstract

The economic success of every country depends on the quality of education imparted to its citizens. Hence education plays a vital role in building up any nation around the world. There is huge academic performance related data available, but they directly do not provide any useful information to educational managers and industry recruiters. It is often a challenging task to compare student performance and inter-disciplinary ranking. Through this paper, we demonstrate how data mining approaches can be used to compare and contrast student performance across various dimensions, and inter-department performance and analysis. Collective assesment of individual student performance can decipher information which can be used at various levels and situations for better decision making support. Knowledge mined from the huge pool of academic performance related data can be used by industry professionals at the time of recruitment to select the best candidates based on their requrements. It can also be used by academic professionals to compare the performance across the various departments and across universities. Above all, a waste of effort, time, and money can be avoided accordingly for both students, recruiters and educators.

 Abstract

Rainfall is one of the most important factors among the Climatic elements, and its distribution differs from time to time, season to season and place to place., which determines the Cropping pattern of an area. In India, the farmers mainly depend on monsoon season for agricultural practices. southwest monsoon and northeast monsoon together serves maximum rainfall to the nation. The present study deals with the rainfall characteristics of Cuddalore district which includes the spatial distribution of rainfall, rainfall variability and precipitation ratio, these three studies are most important in Rainfall analysis. Through rainfall variability study can be identified how rainfall varies from its mean, at the same time the precipitation ratio gives the abnormality of rainfall distribution. For this study 30 consecutive years (1985-2014) monthly rainfall data were collected and analyzed from 14 rain gauge stations. The long-term rainfall analysis reveals the gradual changes of rainfall of the study area. The long term mean annual rainfall of the study area is 1119.63mm, the maximum long-term mean annual rainfall recorded at Annamalai Nagar with 1388.68mm whereas minimum mean annual rainfall has been distributed over Lakkur with 900.74mm. In terms of mean seasonal rainfall of the study area northeast monsoon was received maximum amount of rainfall with 647.71mm followed by southwest monsoon, summer and winter season with rainfall 334.26mm, 95.52mm and 46.14mm respectively. The annual rainfall variability of the region is 40.06%. it varies from 62.40% to 32.17. maximum rainfall variability occurs during winter season and minimum variability experiences during northeast monsoon with 189.29% and 61.40% respectively. The high rainfall abnormality (639.33%) prevails during winter season whereas northeast monsoon season study area under very less (217.03%) abnormality.

 Abstract

The project deals with the Strength and Density comparison between normal and light weight aggregate concrete (foamed slag). Normal concrete is an artificial conglomerate stone made with Portland cement, water, and aggregates. Light weight concrete can be produced by using air entrain agents or light weight aggregates. in this study we have worked on light weight aggregate concrete and also made the comparison made between normal concrete and light weight concrete. it helps us to reduce the weight and increase the strength and durability.

 Abstract

With the drastic change of computer technology, most of the data owners are conducting a keyword search process for an encrypted data which is stored in cloud server on behalf of the user without learning about the under lying plain texts. However, there are various schemes for an encrypted data which supports either a single (or) conjuctive keyword search remaining are able to perform an expressive search format by using a keyword in an efficient manner. In this project, we are going to describe about the searching process of a encrypted data which is present in the cloud by using a keyword in an expressive way, by allowing different search policies and how it is working. When comes to security we are providing a high end security model which reaches to our standard. Finally the implementation of this scheme is carried out by using a rapid prototyping tool called charm.

 Abstract

Abstract : Effective learning means thorough and lasting acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and values that can be attained through good teaching. Teaching is a demanding and complex profession. It requires sweat and blood to be a good teacher. Teaching is not rocket science it demands dedication, talent, care, competency, expertness, professionalism as well as skills to handle budding generations. There are number of factors that entering into teaching and learning including instructional variables, teaching methodology and techniques and technology, and subject-matter. Thus there is need of evaluation system to promote the quality of teaching. Like other professionals, teachers need evaluation processes that accurately identify their strengths as well as areas in which they need to improve. Self evaluation is a best way for teachers which can enlighten that how much successful his teaching is. It would give teachers the information and support that they need to grow as professionals. This paper will deal with ways and means of self evaluation to promote quality in teacher education.

 Abstract

The present study Is based on analysis of normalized difference vegetation index ( NDVI ) and is calculated using the techniques of remote sensing and GIS. The present study use landsat 8 image for the purpose of study. The different band images are used to calculate NDVI. GIS gives us sense to identify the green vegetation present on our earth surface. This study helps us to explore forest vegetation, vegetation on field or any green life present on earth. The study area selected for the study is Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand. The Corbett National Park is a protected area of tarai with one of its component having status of national park. It comprises of tiger reserve and wild life sanctuary. The tarai area comprises of pure sal forest, mixed sal forest, tall grassland, and swamps. The vegetation is mainly moist deciduous type. This study demonstrates the NDVI of Corbett National Park.
