 Abstract

An indigenous fermented rice beverage locally known as ''Anthom'' is prepared from Oryza sativa var. glutinosa, either from black or white variety by the Thadou- Kuki tribes of Manipur. The Thadou- Kuki tribe is known for their rich traditional knowledges. They prepared and consumed different types of homemade fermented foods and beverages since time immemorial. Through trial-and-error methods, the knowledge of these fermentation technology is handed down from generation to generation, by words of mouth, and still remains alive as an oral tradition. So far, no written record is available on the technique of this fermented rice preparation technology. Due to modernization and advances in technology, the age-old traditional knowledge has been seriously neglected and the younger generation shows little interest and concern for this is depleting. This knowledge of fermentation technology is now at risk of dying out. The present paper documents the technique of ''Anthom'' preparation. The ethnomedicinal uses in the treatment of urinary tract infections, menstrual problems, post-partum weaknesses and pains, inadequate breast milk of lactating mothers, and kidney stones. It is also consumed after extreme fatigue and exhaustion not only by those who laboured under arduous conditions in the jhum fields of the hills and forests but also by women after child birth and those afflicted by serious sickness and weakness. ''Anthom'' is offered as a welcome drink to every guest by every household in the olden days. It forms an intrinsic part of the traditional diet and their cultural life style. The detail findings will be discussed in this paper.

The neural network's ability to learn from data and make predictions, coupled with the fuzzy system's capacity to handle uncertainty and imprecision, has led to innovative approaches in various fields. From intelligent control systems that adapt to changing environments to natural language processing applications that capture nuanced meanings, the fusion of neural networks and fuzzy systems has unlocked new dimensions of computational intelligence. This paper reviews key theoretical foundations, methodologies, and techniques that underpin the integration of neural networks and fuzzy systems. We delve into case studies spanning robotics, healthcare, finance, and more, illustrating how this hybrid approach addresses complex, real-world problems more effectively than traditional methods.  Abstract

In the information era, the best knowledge and information are the foundation of the organization. Knowledge is a fundamental but distinctive concept. Individuals and organizations alike no longer find it unusual to recognize that in today's very unstable economic environment, only innovative organizations will survive. It is also true that innovations can only be made when a company is actively learning and developing. A learning organization exhibits the traits of the information that it has amassed over time, as well as how that knowledge is used. The pool of knowledge only has a purpose when it is shared and used to increase human capital and all organizational activities as a whole. Knowledge management (KM) is crucial, for businesses whose success depends on the creation, application, and integration of knowledge by experts and staff. The management and organization of knowledge are becoming major challenges. This study has both theoretical and useful implications.

 Abstract

Balochistan is the biggest province of Pakistan. It is sandwiched between Afghanistan on the north and Iran on the west. Geostrategically, geopolitically and geoeconomically it is the most important place of Pakistan. It is well endowed by nature and very rich in natural resources. But unfortunately the development of Balochistan is least among the four provinces of Pakistan. The Balochistan have faced the five phases of insurgency from 1948 to till now. In the wave of insurgency many people have been killed and abducted by Pakistani security forces. Baloch freedom fighters are completely against the state and its machinery. Pakistan maintains control by disappearing, torturing and murdering the peoples and their leaders. The root causes of movement are that Balochistan is lacking for basic facilities like education hospitals etc. The Pakistan government started many new policies against Balochi freedom fighters, they marginalised the Baloch in his own territory. The Government of Pakistan have never fulfilled the requirement of Baloch in politics, military etc. The Gwadar deep port and China Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) is also the cause of movement in Balochistan. Baloch leaders feels that one day Balochistan will be Colony of China. So the separatist organisations like Balochistan Republican Party, Balochistan Liberation front etc. fight for the independence of Greater Balochistan

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕರಾವಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆ ಇದೆ. ತುಳುನಾಡು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಶುರಾಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ತಾಣ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರತೀತಿಯೂ ಇದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಇತರೆಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಚಿತ್ತಾರ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದು. ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಬುದ್ಧರಾಧನೆ ನಾಗಮಂಡಲ ಕಂಬಳ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಗುರುತುಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನಜೀವನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾಸುಹೊಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕ ಪರಿಸರವು ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ದೈವಗಳು ಆರಾಧನೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

 Abstract

In today's modern world, stress pervades our lives. Despite the increased efficiency brought about by machines, it does not translate into more leisure time for personal life and spiritual development. Stress knows no age limits, affecting everyone from newborns to bedridden individuals. It has become an inevitable aspect of our lives to varying degrees. The fast-paced and complex nature of modern life has challenged our ability to live healthily and fully in the present moment. Addressing and overcoming stress has become a necessity for survival. This paper focuses on defining stress, its causes and effects, general stress management techniques, and the specific role of meditation in stress management. Stress can arise from numerous sources, categorized as work stress and personal stress. When faced with a distressing situation, the human body initiates a physical response. The nervous system becomes highly active, releasing hormones that prepare individuals to either fight or flee. This response affects both the body and mind, making stress management crucial.
