The Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) is a model that is used by investors to calculate the expected return on their portfolio. The model uses the risk-free rate of return, market risk premium and market beta in order to give the investors an idea about the return that the investor can get if he/she invests in a particular security or portfolio. This research aims to check the validity of the CAPM model in calculating expected return by comparing the calculated return with the actual return. In order to do this, the author has used 5 years of data from 1st April 2013 to 31st March 2018. The author has assumed the portfolio to comprise of all the companies of the Bank Nifty Index. The market beta has been calculated using the Nifty 50 index as the market and the Bank Nifty as the portfolio. Using the CAPM formula, the author calculates the expected return for the above-mentioned period and compares it with the actual return. The author finds a deviation of 1.7539%, where the actual return is higher than the calculated return. In order to confirm this, the author used ANOVA test between the actual and calculated deviation, which also confirmed the deviation. The author also carried out tests to check the effect of GARCH Model on the calculated return as well as expected return. Neither of the variables was affected by the GARCH Model, confirming that there was not much volatility in either of the variables. However, a basic standard deviation test carried out on both variables showed that the volatility in the calculated returns was higher than that of the actual returns.

As the growth of computer technology is immense, this paper proposes the mouse control system by using hand gestures captured from webcam through a color detection technique. This system will allow the user to perform the operations such as select, click, scroll, drag performed using different hand gestures. The proposed system uses the low-resolution webcam that acts as a sensor and it is able to track the user hand. The system will be implemented by using Python and OpenCV. Hand gesture is one of the most effortless and natural way of communication.

During the process of dog domestication the dogs have undergone evolutionary change that resulted in seventeen fold increase in the Amy2B gene copy number. Amy2B gene encodes a pancreatic amylase which enables the dogs to be able to better digest carbohydrate than their carnivorous ancestors. Indian free-ranging dogs live in environment where their access to protein foods is limited. They survive mainly on starch based foods in the urban environment. In this experiment forty adult dogs were provided with either a carbohydrate diet or a protein diet. The aim of the experiment was to determine whether the different food sources would result in any behavioral changes in the dog. We found that the protein diet was the better diet for the dogs and under normal circumstances sex of the dog did not affect the energy acquisition from food source

Physical remedy has a number of importance for the properly being and a better first-rate of residing for an affected person. One fundamental constituent of any affected person regime is the home-based workout that a affected person works on in a far comfy environment. In our assignment we have implemented to check and validate the physical activities performed with the aid of the affected person at home without the steerage or tracking by using other person the usage of our clever physiotherapy technology. Using Mem Sensor we would be deducting the x, y, or z axis based on the sufferers motion and also with the assist of Flex sensor we should deduct the remember based on diploma of bend. There would be a LCD Display which indicates degree upgradations based at the matter of sporting activities accomplished by way of the affected person .The reviews of the patient would be stored in cloud such the medical doctor ought to analyze. Through the Voice Playback we would have a recorded voice of the physiotherapist guiding the instructions or default commands being passed. The voice playback is about as according to the patients comfort.

Data deduplication is one of important data compression techniques for eliminating duplicate copies of repeating data, and has been widely used in cloud storage to reduce the amount of storage space and save bandwidth. To protect the confidentiality of sensitive data while supporting deduplication, the convergent encryption technique has been proposed to encrypt the data before outsourcing. To better protect data security, this paper makes the first attempt to formally address the problem of authorized data deduplication. Different from traditional deduplication systems, the differential privileges of users are further considered in duplicate check besides the data itself. We also present several new deduplication constructions supporting authorized duplicate check in hybrid cloud architecture. Security analysis demonstrates that our scheme is secure in terms of the definitions specified in the proposed security model. As a proof of concept, we implement a prototype of our proposed authorized duplicate check scheme and conduct tested experiments using our prototype. We show that our proposed authorized duplicate check scheme incurs minimal overhead compared to normal operations.

There is still a lot more to explore about COVID-19 - caused by SARS - CoV-2 - but it has been keenly observed that some people are much more affected than others by the virus. Scientists are working day and night to understand why Coronavirus can manifest so differently in different people. Data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control & Prevention suggests that elderly and immuno-compromised people may be more susceptible to severe forms of COVID-19. In this article we will write about the infection prevention at healthcare and self home care of patients dealing with corona virus .

Heat exchangers are devices designed for effectively transferring heat energy between hot and cold fluids. Heat exchangers are widely used in oil and gas industries, power generation, chemical processing, air conditioning systems etc., In this project, a Double pipe Heat Exchanger is designed & fabricated, experiments conducted upon it, with water and different concentrations of nano fluid. The results obtained are evaluated to study the effect of increase of heat transfer rate and overall heat transfer coefficient with the nano fluid. The results are tabulated and graphically depicted to facilitate comparisons and deducing conclusions.

Today, every company in existence requires a human effort to hire an employee, the traditional method so called Human Resource Management deals with such methodology, but still this traditional method havent been updated in a long time and the hiring process often gets very long which frustrates both the employee and the hiring manager, Here various details are collected up where the HR department can manage employee payment details and could able to update, delete, modify employee details from database manage employee payment details, work allocation details of share details, short listed candidate project allocation, recruitments information, experience, education details, employee attendance and according to attendance automatically generate the salary. Now this project aims to improvise and modernize the Hiring process through facial recognition software that scans areas like nose, eyes and expression of the candidate. The application interact with the user and recognizes the facial expression. Here we automate the process of the facial interaction and recognition with the candidate to complete their hiring process through collecting detailed data about each personality, thei application actually conducts deeper analysis of this data and uses gathered insights to take action.
