Plastic waste which is increasing day by day becomes eyesore and in turn pollutes the environment, especially in high mountain villages where no garbage collection system exists. A large amount of plastic is being brought into the tourist trekking regions are discarded or burned which leads to the contamination of environment and air. Hence, these waste plastics are to be effectively utilized. Low-density polyethylene bags are cleaned and added with sand at particular percentages to obtain high strength bricks that possess thermal and sound insulation properties to control pollution and to reduce the overall cost of construction; this is one of the best ways to avoid the accumulation of plastic waste which is an on-degradable pollutant. This alternatively saves the quantity of sand/clay that has to be taken away from the precious river beds/mines. The plastic waste is naturally available in surplus quantity and hence the cost factor comes down. Also coloring agents can be added to the mixture to attain desired shades. Hence in this thesis, an attempt is made to study regard the properties of the brick which is manufactured using plastic wastes. The present work deals with the manufacturing and analysis of bricks made with waste plastic (LDPE) and fine aggregates. The bricks produced are light weight, have smooth surface and fine edges, do not have cracks and have high crushing strength and very low water absorption. The bricks are manufactured by heating waste plastic to temperature range of 120 to 150 degree centigrade and mixing sand to the molten plastic.

Authentication oriented access to the applications is enormously used for computer privacy and security. Although humans are prone to plump for the fragile password which are easy to remember like date of birth, their phone number dearest person name and many more. instead of using combination of alphabets, Numerals and special characters strings but human tend to use short password which are easy for them to remember. With internet programs and cell apps piling up, human can access these application anytime and anywhere with various devices. The evolution brings outstanding comfort. However additionally will increase the opportunity of revealing passwords to shoulder surfing assaults. Attackers can oversee directly or use extraneous recording gadgets to accumulate customers credentials. To triumph over this problem, we proposed a unique authentication system pass matrix primarily based on graphical passwords to face up to shoulder surfing assaults. With one time legitimate login indicator and circulative horizontal and vertical bars overlaying the whole scope of pass pictures. Even though if the attackers do multiple camera based attacks. Pass matrix does not give a small clue for attackers to estimate and find out the password

Indian Government is proposing quiet stringent policies for tackling the climate changes and financial service sector is also covered in the regime. The massive amount of carbon emissions and pollutants are fatal for the human kind and countries are making effort to create a carbon free economy. To foster environmental friendly products and services, one of the buzzword in banking industry is Green Banking. The results revealed a high level of awareness about green banking concept and the most widely used green product found to be plastic money (debit and credit cards). The results highlighted that irrespective of the education level of customer, there is no difference in usage of green banking services. The findings showed three main perceptual benefits of green banking namely online transactions, safe and secure transactions and environmental benefits. This paper is a niche attempt to unveil the awareness of green banking initiatives, frequency of usage of green services and the perceived benefits of using green banking services among customers of selected sample branches of SBI, Hyderabad

The rivers of Karnataka have played a significant role in the state's history and culture, shaping its socio-economic, ecological, and cultural landscape over the centuries. Here is an abstract highlighting the historical significance of Karnataka's rivers: The rivers of Karnataka, including the Krishna, Cauvery, Tungabhadra, and many smaller tributaries, hold immense historical significance for the state. These water bodies have been integral to the development of Karnataka's civilization, agriculture, trade, and culture for millennia.1. Agriculture and Irrigation: Karnataka's rivers have been a lifeline for agriculture. The fertile alluvial plains along the banks of rivers like the Cauvery have supported extensive agricultural practices since ancient times. The construction of irrigation canals and reservoirs, dating back to the Chola and Hoysala periods, facilitated controlled water distribution, leading to increased agricultural productivity.2. Trade and Commerce: The rivers served as vital trade routes in antiquity. The Cauvery River, for instance, facilitated trade between the Chola Dynasty in the south and the Chalukya Dynasty in the north. The ports of ancient Karnataka, such as Muziris (modern-day Kodungallur) on the Malabar Coast, were linked to the interior through river networks.3. Cultural Heritage: Karnataka's rich cultural heritage is deeply intertwined with its rivers. Temples and settlements have sprung up along the riverbanks, and the state's architecture and art often feature motifs related to river worship. The town of Talakadu, located on the banks of the Cauvery, is known for its submerged temples that emerge periodically when the river's water levels recede.4. Historical Empires and Kingdoms: Many historical empires and kingdoms, such as the Chalukyas, Cholas, Hoysalas, Vijayanagara Empire, and the Wodeyar Dynasty, established their capitals or important cities near these rivers. The rivers provided strategic advantages, access to water, and agricultural resources that supported these powerful dynasties.5. Hydropower and Industrialization: In the modern era, the rivers have contributed to the state's industrialization and energy production. The construction of dams and reservoirs on rivers like the Tungabhadra and Krishna has harnessed hydropower for electricity generation and irrigation, fostering economic development.6. Ecological Importance: Beyond their historical and cultural significance, Karnataka's rivers are crucial for maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity. They support diverse ecosystems, providing habitats for various species of flora and fauna.

Dental and skeletal fluorosis is among the serious health hazards associated with fluoride in drinking water. The effectiveness of inexpensive materials for removing fluoride from water is examined in this study. The fluoride adsorption capabilities of several natural and agricultural by-products, including clay, zeolite, and activated charcoal, were assessed. To determine the ideal contact time, starting fluoride concentration, and pH levels, batch adsorption tests were carried out. The findings showed that some materials, in particular activated charcoal, showed encouraging fluoride removal efficiency, with maximal adsorption taking place under particular circumstances. According to the research, these inexpensive materials can be used as efficient substitutes for fluoride removal in water treatment, offering populations dealing with fluoride pollution a long-term option. It is advised that more research be done on these materials long-term efficacy and regeneration.

Demand for herbal pharmaceuticals has increased many folds during last three decades.Ayurveda is popularized by government efforts and large number of herbal practitioners , ethnobotanists and researchers .Researches are promoted for developing and processing of quality herbal preparations and dose standardization Huge quantity of ethnobotanical knowledge exist in india and is in use since ancient times. Any knowledge can perpetuates over such a long time only if it is effective and proved. Also a large number of herbal preparations are available in the market claiming permanent cure and other benefits. Traditional system of Herbal medicines are used on the basis of experiences, religious thoughts, beliefs and culture established during long time. Now a days herbal medicines are available in the market in the form of tablets, capsules and syrup in contrary to use of crude extracts and preparations used by local practitioners and by self at home. It is misleading to believe that all herbal medicines are safe and not associated with any risk.Traditional medicine is the sum total of the knowledge, skills and practices based on the theories, beliefs and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not, used in the maintenance of health and in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of physical and mental illness(WHO) In order to handle herbal medicines, in particular, to analyse the causes of adverse events, national pharmacovigilance centres (or equivalent institutions) will need to acquire specific technical expertise. This will include trained personnel in relevant technical areas and facilities to analyse the products concerned, for which there is often insufficient information and lack of access to reliable information support. Many countries currently lack this expertise, in particular, access to suitable analytical laboratories. Member States have therefore recommended the establishment of regional laboratories specializing in the analysis of herbal products. WHO encourages Member States to explore the feasibility of this proposal.(WHO guidelines on safety monitoring of herbal medicines in pharmacovigilance system). If the traditional herbs, herbal preparations and practices are used properly with dose and duration characterizations these can be highly beneficial The present paper is aimed to discuss safety concerns, challenges and future perspectives. How the people get cured using crude herbal preparations at home. What are the drawbacks and advantages of using herbal pharmaceuticals
