This present paper deals with the concrete mix of M25 grade which was made using OPC 53 grade of cement and in which rice husk ash, recycled aggregates and steel fibers are used to replacing the cement, natural coarse aggregates and natural fine aggregates. Rice husk ash in structural concrete is a sustainable solution to dealing with solid waste. This technology reduces the serious impact on ecological environments caused by a shortage of natural mineral resources. The aim of the present study is to investigate the coupling effects of incorporating rice husk ash on the compressive and split tensile performances of selected M25 grade concrete. Casting of Cubes and Cylindrical Specimens of (150*150 mm) and (150 mm diameter and 300 mm Height) in Sizes to find out the fresh and hardened properties of M25 grade concrete mix for 7 and 28 days

Background: Surgical site infections are a major complication of surgery and a potential indicator of causative organisms and the percentage of multi-resistant bacteria. Materials and methods: This is a six-month prospective study in the general surgery department of Mohammed VI University Hospital. All subjects who underwent general surgery between 01 March 2018 and 31 August 2018 were included and monitored 30 days after the intervention. Risk factors such as age, ASA sore, type of intervention and duration of operation were collected. All infected patients benefited from samples for bacteriological study. Results: During the 6-month period, 736 patients were included in the study. their ages ranged from 15 to 94 years, with an average of 48.5 years. A total of 39 SSIs was confirmed (incidence rate of 5.29%). The distribution according to the site of infection showed 27 superficial infections, 10 deep infections, and 2 space infections. Urgency, age, Altemeyer contamination class, type of intervention and duration of surgery were the main risk factors. The SSIs stratified rate on the NNIS index ranged from 2.7%(NNIS=0) to 12% (NNIS= 3) The causative organisms in order of frequency were: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Conclusion: The high frequency of SSIs makes it necessary to reinforce the hygiene measures during the operative procedure, and to reinforce regular monitoring according to standardized procedures in the surgical departments.

This paper analyzes the design and construction of a satellite receiver station whose purpose is to receive meteorological signals transmitted from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Satellites. This is done through an arrangement consisting of an SDR (Software Defined Radio), an adaptive antenna on the VHF band and web and FTP servers for analysing the obtained images remotely. The SDR maintains connection with the satellite in the specified time period. The paper also further analyzes the decoding of the thus obtained image. The enhanced image is further studied. These images can be used for clear meteorological monitoring with the only intention of effectively analysing and preventing climatic events in particular regions.

Gambhari is one of the Indian medicinal plants, from the family Verbenaceae. In English it is known as Candahar tree or White teak. Sanskrit is known as Pitarohini due to beautiful flowers and commonly known as Kashmarya. It is well explained in classical texts used to treat various disorders. The plant is known for its Vatapittahara action. It contains a plethora of chemical constituents claimed for their specific medicinal properties. The preliminary phytochemical results of Gmelina arborea Roxb. indicated the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and glycosides. The aim of the study is to develop the High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) profile of Gmelina arborea Roxb. flower. In this technique, the separation of the active constituents in extracts has been developed using solvent system Toluene: Ethyl acetate: Acetic acid (7:2:1). The analysis revealed 16, 11 peaks at different Rf values in 254 and 366nm respectively. HPTLC profiling is the easy and rapid resulting tool in the identification and quality control of the drug and ensures the therapeutic efficacy of the plants.

Falls have serious consequences and are prevalent in acute hospitals and nursing homes caring for older people Fall lead to many adverse consequences for the patients apart from physical injuries such as anxiety, depression and loss of independence. Technological interventions to reduce the risk of falling aim to monitor automatically monitor bed-exit events and subsequently alert healthcare personnel to provide timely supervisions. In that sense, the present work proposes an innovative IoT-based system for detecting falls of elderly people in indoor environments, which takes advantages of low-power wireless sensor networks and smart devices. For this purpose, we recognize the potential to employ a low resolution acceleration sensing modality in contrast to powering and sensing with a conventional MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) accelerometer. A 3D-axis passive accelerometer with gyroscope embedded into a wearable sensor device is used, which is responsible for collecting data from movements of elderly people in real-time. The accelerometer data from the devices are continuously sent to a multithreaded server which hosts a pre- trained machine learning model that analyzes the data to determine whether a fall has occurred or not. Finally this system provides service built on cloud. If a fall is detected, an alert is activated and the system reacts automatically by sending notifications to the groups responsible for the care of the elderly people.

Abstract The whole world is focusing on the utilization of renewable energy sources in order to mitigate the world power crisis. Power electronics is being used in a large scale for the renewable energy conversion in a more efficient manner. It has a great impact on controlling as well as interfacing the renewable system with both the grid and standalone applications. Hence more and more emphasis is given on design and control of power converters. In this paper different renewable energy systems (wind, solar) with different aspects of their power conversion have been discussed. Some basic principles of their operations with their recent technology advancements are reviewed. It is the reality that power electronics plays a vital part on interfacing and hence increasing the overall performance.

The present study was conducted to see the effect of cow urine on fertility levels and cow urine spray on growth and yield of Wheat (Triticum aestivum). Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is one of the important crop in the whole world and is consumed by nearly 65% of the Indian population. Among different organic sources cow urine is very unique product obtained from dairy and it has a high potential to prove as a organic fertilizer ,antimicrobial agent and disinfectant. The cow urine has proved to be a boon in the areas of agriculture, science and technology, industry, energy, medicine etc. for the development of any nation, there is a need in addition being eco-friendly in nature. Cow urine contains 95% water, 2.5% mineral salts and enzymes and remaining 2.5% contains the urea.In organic farming cow urine is used for enhancing the fertility level of plant and also the soil fertility. The nutritional effect of cow urine on plant growth was also tested with Wheat (Triticum aestivum) plant and protein and chlorophyll content was also estimated.

The flat plate slab is gaining popularity among architects. The flat plate slab provides a way for architect to achieve completely flat ceiling with no beam protrusion. There is also improvement in the construction speed and cost savings from using this system which requires only simple formwork. But when load acting on the slab is large or clear span between columns is more so it is required to increase the slab thickness; hence the self-weight of slab is increased due to increased volume of slab and also more amount of steel is required to resist this increased weight of slab. 2This paper deals with voided slabs using U-boot beton technology made by recycled polypropylene. The technology is designs for light weight slabs in RCC. It is solution to build slabs of large spans with more bearing capacity.
