Most of the Structural buildings such as school, residential, industrial and commercial buildings are suffering from earthquake due to inadequate of structures stabilities and lack of construction techniques/methods, specifications and supervision guideline. We can take the example of, on April 25,2015 an earthquake with magnitude of 7.8(according to Geological Survey) struck many districts of Nepal, the main earthquake and aftershocks caused widespread devastation, killing 8,702 people, wounding 22,303 others and demolishing 498,852 houses. The objective of this project is to improve the education environment with earthquake resistance schools which will be safe shelters against future earthquake is the priority for the safeguard of children based on the Build Back Better (BBB) concept. Thereby contributing to sustainable socioeconomic development.

Seismic excitation causes severe structural damage. Elevated water tanks are frequently used structures for various purposes like water supply, irrigation, etc. Thus, seismic behavior of these tanks needs to be studied. Horizontal vibration due to seismic forces causes sloshing of water in tanks which can be threat to the structure. This paper aims to study the sloshing effect on elevated circular water tank for different water columns and heights of tank. Software package STAAD.Pro is used for analysis. Three different tank models are analyzed and parametric study is carried out for base shear and plate stresses.

The institutions of higher education are in need of infusion of new model of education in order to keep the curriculum in pace with changing environment which include technology adoption, changing industry requirement, changing aspiration of students and changing expectations of society. It is expected that two models and two systems of higher education are going to get importance in this changing environment. The two models of higher education which are going to be relevant in future days are (1) Conventional classroom based education model and (2) Technology supported online ubiquitous education model. The two higher education systems which are expected to be attractive to the learners are Choice Based Credit system and Competency based Credit system. University Grants Commission has come up with the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) programme in which the students have a choice to choose from the prescribed courses, which are referred as core, elective or minor or soft skill courses and they can learn at their own pace and the entire assessment is graded-based on a credit system. In this paper we have attempted to make a comparative analysis of "Choice Based Credit System" using SWOC analysis and ABCD analysis.

The objectives of the present study were to discuss about the use of traditional knowledge and culture in preserving public health nutrition of tribal people of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. One hundred households were selected by random purposive sampling method for collection of data and information on traditional food and health practices was collected by interview cum questionnaire method. The results of the study revealed that they used different types of locally available foods for their health benefits. Handia was their common beverage and they used it for their better health and getting relief from tiredness. For getting relief from diseased conditions they used various types of things such as Wild ant chutney for cough, Gangasiuli leaves juice for Malaria fever, Amarpoi leaves for Diarrhea, Powder of Black berry seeds for Diabetes, Bhalia for Eczema, Neem leaves and oil for scabies, Handia rasi, Pedipedica leaves and Mehendi roots for Jaundice, Bug with banana for Piles, etc. Palta medicines for son and Babul leaves for fair baby during pregnancy, Kalibahu and Gaichira (one type of root) for recovery after delivery, Bottlle gourd and sago dana kheer for better lactation, Even though medical facilities are available in that area still then the people were not utilizing it because of their misconception and lack of knowledge. Therefore Government should give emphasis on nutrition and health education of the tribal people and further in depth scientific research should be carried out in this direction to adopt new strategies for future generation.

What makes this world exist as it does? The thoughts, imaginations are not only imaginary but whatever we can think is real. This whole universe, all the galaxies and beyond that everything has some link which make them exist. As we know different forces exist in this world which can be attractive or repulsive, in different states. For the charge particle, poles of the magnet, sub nuclear particles all follow the rules of their corresponding forces like electric, magnetic, nuclear forces etc. Can human being attract the things that they want in their lives. Psychologist believes that what we think consistently is surely going to happen. But there is no proof of above fact in physics till now. In this paper we would like to prove above fact from physics point of view.

Spinach is important vegetable product in the minimally processed leafy vegetables industry. It contains 91.4% moisture, 2.2% fiber, 3.6% carbohydrate, 0.4% fat and rich source of vitamin A, iron and calcium. It includes ascorbic acid, carotenoids, anthocyanins, phenols and vitamins. The most part of these compounds are also called phytonutrients because of their beneficial effect. Spinach has a huge demand and is easily perishable commodity which effects the vegetable market around the world, s

P-cumidine is very important intermediate for many chemical and agrochemical industries. The product, Para cumidine is versatile chemical intermediate that has applications in dyes, pharmaceuticals, and herbicides. The major use of para cumidine as an intermediate in the manufacturing of isoproturon which is a selective herbicide belonging to the family of substituted ureas and acts principally after root absorption, either pre-emergence or post-emergence. There are many different processes from which p-cumidine can be manufactured. but industrially used process is nitration of cumene followed by hydrogenation. The processes for manufacturing of p-cumidine are alkylation of aniline, nitration of cumene followed by hydrogenation, nitration of cumene followed by reduction using caustic lye and sulphur. But industrially used process is nitration of cumene followed by hydrogenation.

Essential oils are a diverse group of natural products. Oils are the important source of aromatic and flavoring chemicals in food, industrial, and pharmaceutical products. Essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds derived from the different parts of the plants. Various extraction methods are used in the manufacture and extraction of essential oils from the plant materials. Essential oils are produced using several techniques like water distillation, steam distillation, hydro diffusion, maceration, solvent-free microwave extraction, solar distillation and CO2 supercritical fluid extraction, etc. These extraction and expression methods are used to remove the oils from the dried/fresh plants (or) machines to squeeze the oil out of the plants. Out of all the extraction methods, supercritical carbon dioxide method is more efficient. The present report is an attempt to list out the various methods of extraction of essential oil from the different parts of the mint leaves and their merits and demerits. The world production and consumption of essential oils and perfumes are increasing very fast. Production technology is an essential element to improve the overall yield and quality of essential oil. The traditional technologies pertaining to essential oil processing are of great significance and are still being used in many parts of the globe. Water distillation, water and steam distillation, steam distillation, are the most traditional and commonly used methods.

Unwanted unsolicited communications ("spam") first became a problem for email because of the negligible cost of sending email. It is increasingly becoming a problem for phone services due to falling costs of phone calls themselves and increasing international phone access in developing countries where labour costs are relatively low. Caller ID allows individuals to ignore calls from unknown sources, but business often revolves around acquiring new customers, and caller IDs can be spoofed. In this project you will investigate technical mechanisms that could help defend against such phone spam. Examples may include applying collaborative filtering techniques (as used to filter email spam) to filter phone calls and in extending phone system software (e.g. the Asterix PBX) to check (e.g. apply ingress filtering to) caller IDs. You will implement prototypes of such mechanisms in software, possibly in the form of a Smartphone app or Asterix module.

The individual part that makes up the turbine portion of a gas turbine is a turbine blade. The high temperature, high pressure gas that the combustor produces must be converted into energy by the blades. Pro/Engineer, a 3D modeling programmed, is used in this research to build and simulate a turbine blade. To improve cooling effectiveness, the blade base is changed in the design. Material selection is crucial since turbo machinery design is intricate and material performance directly affects efficiency. In this project, chromium steel and stainless steel 316L are both potential materials for turbine blades. Optimization is done by varying the materials chromium steel and stainless steel 316L by performing coupled field analysis (thermal and structural) on the turbine blade for the designs (without holes, internal cooling, external cooling and internal-external cooling) .
