Community participation plays a critical role in the successful implementation and sustainability of rural development policies, especially in regions grappling with socio-economic challenges. This paper explores the role of community participation in enhancing the outcomes of policy implementation, with a focus on the Bihar JEEViKA Program, a prominent example of community-driven development. Launched in 2006-07, JEEViKA aims to empower marginalized groups, particularly women, by organizing them into Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and federations, enhancing access to financial services, promoting livelihood diversification, and fostering social capital. The paper examines the transformative impact of such initiatives, noting how community engagement in decision-making processes leads to improvements in financial inclusion, service delivery, and local governance. Drawing on case studies and relevant literature, the paper highlights the importance of bottom-up approaches in bridging the gap between policy formulation and local realities. The involvement of rural communities in policy implementation strengthens local institutions, builds accountability, and ensures policies align with the specific needs of the people. The paper also discusses key challenges faced by the JEEViKA program; the paper offers policy recommendations to enhance community participation. Ultimately, this paper demonstrates how community participation fosters a sense of ownership, leading to more sustainable and effective development outcomes, which can be replicated in other regions facing similar challenges.

In the modern world underwater images have become a very important aspect of various different fields and industries. Due to this, the requirement of high-quality underwater images has become very important in recent times. These images can be used for environmental monitoring, biodiversity, documentation, ocean exploration, as well as pollution awareness. Although all of these require high-quality underwater images it has become a constant challenge in order to obtain them. This is due to the fact that underwater images tend to have various problems that they face which degrades the quality of the image itself. Some of the issues that are faced when dealing with underwater images are color distortion, low contrast and blurriness, uneven illumination, and noise from the various particulate matter that is present in the water. All these issues sort the image to make it unusable in all the fields that we previously talked about. This is why we would like to use convolutional neural networks in order to create a model that is able to enhance these images to increase the quality. In this study, we would like to address the various issues that underwater images face, and how we intend on solving them. To do this, we will have to use various data sets in order to train the model, which we will create in order for image enhancement, and then vigorously test it using various different parameters, which we will also explain in our report. Through the study, we aim to create a model, which is able to take any form of underwater image and accurately enhance it so that it can be used in the many fields that are required today., which we will also explain in our report. Through the study, we aim to create a model, which is able to take any form of underwater image and accurately enhance it so that it can be used in the many fields that require it today.

ABSTRACT: Achieving a work-life balance is a significant challenge for women doctors due to the high demands of their profession and the added expectations of societal roles. This abstract examines the unique hurdles faced by women in medicine, including long working hours, on-call duties, and emotional stress. The intersection of professional responsibilities and personal commitments, such as family care and household management, further complicates this balance. Factors such as workplace culture, gender biases, and the availability of supportive policies like flexible working hours and parental leave are critical in shaping a more balanced life. The discussion emphasizes the importance of institutional support, mentorship, and peer networks in helping women doctors navigate their careers while maintaining personal well-being. The benefits of achieving work-life balance include improved mental health, job satisfaction, and enhanced patient care. In conclusion, addressing the challenges of work-life balance for women doctors is essential for fostering a healthier, more productive medical workforce. By implementing supportive measures and recognizing the unique needs of women in medicine, healthcare institutions can create an inclusive environment that promotes both professional and personal growth.

In recent times, there has been a significant increase in the number of vehicles, particularly those running on fuel. Unfortunately, the rising fuel prices have led to instances where some petrol pump owners attempt to deceive their customers. They manipulate the fuel data or display incorrect information when customers request fuel filling. To address this problem, we have developed a solution called the Smart Fuel Meter, which accurately measures the amount of fuel dispensed into the vehicle's tank and calculates the corresponding cost based on the current fuel price. The Automatic Fuel Level Controller is an advanced system designed to monitor and control the fuel level in a fuel tank, typically used in vehicles or fuel storage systems. The system automatically adjusts the fuel flow based on pre-set thresholds, ensuring an optimal fuel level at all times, preventing overflows or running out of fuel. The system uses sensors and controllers to detect and maintain the fuel levels, providing alerts and controlling pumps for refilling when required. The Smart Fuel Meter incorporates Internet of Things (IoT) technology, utilizing components such as the Arduino and an embedded system to enable efficient fuel quantity measurement and fraud detection. To enhance user accessibility and transparency, we have also implemented a web-based interface that allows customers to view real-time data regarding the actual volume of fuel dispensed and the associated cost.

The global construction industry is experiencing increased pressure on adopting sustainable materials and methods for addressing environmental challenges and resource scarcity. Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) has gained prominence as an alternative to traditional steel reinforcement in structural applications like beams and columns. GFRP provides several distinct advantages over traditional steel reinforcement. One of its most significant benefits is that it provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, strong resistance to corrosion, and non-magnetic properties. These properties make GFRP highly suitable for corrosion-relevant fields, like coastal cities, chemical plants, and wastewater treatment facilities, which could be exposed to corrosive conditions. Unlike steel, GFRP will not rust or oxidize and, hence its maintenance needs are greatly reduced as well as extends the lifespan of structures. From an environmental point of view, GFRP production has a lower carbon footprint than steel, but issues with end-of-life recyclability remain a concern. There is ongoing work to develop more sustainable manufacturing practices and improve the recyclability of GFRP, such as using bio-based resins. This paper examines the economic viability of GFRP and finds that although the initial material costs are higher than the related steel product, the long-term advantages of GFRP, such as increased durability and reduced maintenance, may make it a relatively cost-effective solution in a structure's lifecycle. The review concludes with an identification of the main challenges and opportunities to promote the use of GFRP for the common adoption within the construction industry. Therefore, GFRP is a viable and sustainable substitute for traditional steel rebar in cases where durability, lightweight properties, and resistance to corrosion are a critical requirement in the environment.

This paper analyzes The Circle by Dave Eggers, a novel that presents a dystopian view of a hyper-connected society where the distinction between public and private life disappears. It explores the pervasive effects of social media, data collection, and digital culture on identity, relationships, and societal norms. Eggers critiques how technological advancements, when unchecked, can lead to a loss of privacy, autonomy, and authenticity, as individuals prioritize virtual validation over genuine human connections. Through an examination of the novel's themes, characters, and narrative, this study highlights the ethical and psychological implications of living in a surveillance-driven, technology-dominated world. The paper emphasizes the dangers of unregulated technological integration, offering a cautionary tale about its potential doing so, it underscores the need for a balanced approach to technology that prioritizes human well-being over corporate or systemic control. The Circle as a cautionary tale, emphasizing the dangers of prioritizing corporate interests and systemic control over human dignity and freedom. The paper ultimately calls for a more balanced approach to technological integration in society.
