ABSTRACT Background: Construction workers are victims of different health problems and the data regarding their health and living conditions are scanty in India. Unorganized workers do not have fixed working hours and the working conditions are non-congenial and risky. Common hazards include exposure to harsh environmental conditions resulting in accidents and adverse health conditions. Objectives: - To study the living conditions of unorganized construction workers. - To identify the common health problems among unorganised construction workers - To assess the awareness levels on social security schemes available to unorganised construction workers Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 104 workers using multistage sampling in Nagarbhavi block in Bangalore. A predesigned and pretested questionnaire was used to collect the data by interview method. Informed consent was taken from all the respondents. Results: Majority of the participants (43.2%) was in the age group of 20- 29 yrs. 57(54.8%) were males and 47(45.2%) were females. About 33.0 % of the families stayed at construction building, 30.7 % at rented house and 29.8 % in tents. Nearly 76% of the families did not have toilets and practiced open defecation. Health problems: Majority of the participants had lower limb pain (68.3%) and body ache (43.2%) followed by cough, cold, fever and back pain as common health problems. Cuts and injuries (87.5 %) were the most common accidents encountered. Awareness about Social security schemes: 95.1 % families did not have ration card and none had BPL card. Only 13.5 % were aware about health insurance and benefit schemes. Conclusion: Living conditions of construction workers was poor with high prevalence of health problems and accidents among the workers and their children. Awareness about the social security schemes was very poor.

The study was conducted to examine the determinants of online consumer reviews as electronic word of mouth has become more and more popular to help make buying decisions. The web provides a wide range of customer reviews, but all reviews can be difficult to read in order to properly evaluate a product or service. A text processing framework that summarizes reviews, therefore, would be desirable. The subtask presented by such a framework is to find a range of commonalities in the review sentences, for which this paper presents two methods. Unlike most existing methods, the first method introduced is an unsafe method that applies association rules mining on co-frequency data obtained from the corpus to find a range of these aspects.

Agriculture/warehouse sector being the backbone Dynamic Agriculture/distribution center area being the foundation of the Indian economy need security. Security not as far as assets just yet in addition farming items needs security and assurance at introductory stage, similar to insurance from assaults of rodents or creepy crawlies, in fields or grain stores. Such difficulties ought to likewise be contemplated. Security frameworks which are being utilized now a days are not shrewd enough to give constant notification in the wake of detecting the issue. The joining of customary philosophy with most recent advancements as Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Networks can prompt farming modernization. Keeping this situation in our source we have designed, tried and analiyzed a 'IOT of Things' based gadget which is fit for breaking down the detected data and afterward transmitting it to the client. This gadget can be controlled and observed from remote area and it tends to be actualized in warehouse, stores, grain stores and cold stores for security reason. This paper is arranged to acclerate the strategies to take care of such issues like identification of rodents, dangers to grains and conveying continuous notification dependent on data examination and handling without human intercession. Right now, sensors and electronic gadgets are coordinated utilizing c.

A multi-nutrient dense magic cake was made which can be also considered as a mid day meal. Standardization of this high calorie , high protein cake along with shelf life study was done. Sensory evaluation using 5 point scoring test was done with a naive panel (10 member). Score card consisted of characteristic such as appearance, flavour, texture, taste and over all acceptability . This recipe was well accepted by the consumer which gives high calorie, high protein, calcium, iron, vitamin A and B complex etc. Packaging, marketing, budgeting and nutrient labeling were the other aspects done in this study. In the present study germination, photosynthetic pigments growth and yield in Pisum sativum var. P.Arkel was investigated under salinity stress. Salinity caused by NaCl is an abiotic stress inducing morphological and metabolic disorders. The pot experiment was carried out in department of Botany at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, Rampur and the plants were exposed to different doses of NaCl and the data was recorded at 65 and 75 days after sowing (DAS). The impact of NaCl concentration (4mmhos/cm, 8mmhos/cm and 12mmhos/cm ) is reported on morphological and physiological traits on Pea . A significant reduction of shoot and root biomass, root nodules, plant length and leaf area affected by salinity was observed in 12 mmhos/cm of NaCl. Higher salinity induces a reduction, a delay and even a complete inhibition of germination caused due to osmotic effect or /and ion toxicity . All growth attributes such as plant length leaf number and leaf area decrease in all the salinity levels. Salt (NaCl) stress through enhancement of osmotic pressure leads to the reduction of germination, growth and effect the yield of the plant. Saline soil induces physiological and metabolic disturbances in plants, effecting growth development, and quality of yield in plants. In general, salt stress decreases the chlorophyll content and carotenoids of plants but increased the level of proline.
