The rapid digitization of public services and everyday life under the 'Digital India' initiative has significantly increased citizens' exposure to cyber threats such as phishing, online fraud, identity theft, and social-media-based scams. In this context, social-awareness programs have emerged as a critical intervention to improve cyber-safety behavior among Indian digital citizens. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of existing cyber-safety awareness initiatives--launched by government bodies, educational institutions, and community organizations--using a mixed-method research design. Through structured surveys and focus-group discussions conducted across urban and semi-urban areas of Maharashtra (including Pune), the study examines citizens' awareness levels, perceived risk, and actual online behavior before and after exposure to cyber-safety campaigns. The findings reveal that while awareness of basic cyber-threats (such as password safety and public-Wi-Fi risks) has improved, critical gaps remain in understanding newer threats like deepfakes, ransomware-style extortion, and social-engineering attacks. The paper highlights that current awareness programs often emphasize generic messaging without tailoring content to specific user groups (e.g., students, elderly citizens, MSME owners). Based on the results, the study proposes a more targeted, participatory, and sustained model for cyber-awareness that integrates local context, role-based guidance, and continuous feedback mechanisms. The proposed framework aims to help transform the broader vision of 'Digital India' into a truly 'Secure India' by embedding cyber-safety awareness into everyday social practices and policy design.

- A worldwide increase in lifestyle-related diseases (such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and obesity) is associated with unhealthy lifestyles (e.g., sedentary behavior, poor dietary habits and increased stress levels). Early identification of these types of diseases can improve the outcomes of treatment and reduce long-term healthcare costs. Traditional diagnosis approaches use clinical testing as the primary means of identifying these diseases and generally, identify them after they have advanced or reached a More severe state based on symptoms. This research proposes an artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) framework to assess and predict disease using lifestyle data. The application provides assessments of various parameters of an individual's lifestyle (such as physical activity, sleep, eating habits, stress levels and substance use) and finds patterns among those parameters that increase an individual's risk of developing a certain disease. Using predictive algorithms such as logistic regression, decision trees and random forest, predictive models are developed to classify individuals into categories. This approach is to create a preventative healthcare approach by delivering interventions before symptoms reach a severe state. Experimental results show that these predictive models using lifestyle data can generate highly accurate and reliable results, which makes them suitable for use in health care facilities or through wearable technologies .

This paper proposes a Mini Mobile Digital Radiography System integrating portable X-ray imaging, embedded processing, and telemedicine communication for efficient and real-time medical diagnosis. The system employs a Raspberry Pi-based architecture to perform on-device image acquisition, enhancement, and transmission. A hybrid image processing approach combining Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and Wiener filtering is implemented to address challenges such as low contrast and noise in radiographic images. Performance evaluation using metrics such as Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE), and entropy demonstrates significant improvement in image quality compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, the system enables remote diagnosis through wireless data transmission using GSM/Wi-Fi networks, facilitating expert consultation in underserved and remote regions. The proposed system offers a cost-effective, portable, and scalable solution for modern healthcare applications, particularly in emergency and rural settings.

Abstract Cinema is a multisensory medium where sound and cinematography function as core elements of storytelling. Malayalam cinema has gained global recognition for its technical innovation and experimental narrative forms. The film Jallikattu (2019), directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, stands as a landmark in contemporary Indian cinema for its radical use of audiovisual language. This research paper examines the role of sound design and cinematography in constructing meaning, tension, and sensory overload in Jallikattu. The study analyzes how handheld camera movement, long takes, natural lighting, and immersive soundscapes contribute to the portrayal of chaos, human instinct, and collective violence. Using qualitative film analysis, the paper argues that Jallikattu transforms sound and visual composition into narrative agents rather than supporting elements. The film redefines cinematic realism by creating an experience of controlled chaos and sensory immersion.

Viruddha Ahara refers to incompatible dietary combinations and habits described in Ayurveda. Ayurveda considers Ahara as one of the three pillars responsible for sustaining life and maintaining health.Improper dietary combinations disturb digestion, produce Ama, and initiate pathological changes within the body. Modern dietary patterns involving processed foods, preservatives, junk food, and irregular meal timings strongly resemble many incompatible dietary practices described in Ayurveda.Acharya Charaka elaborately described various forms of Viruddha Ahara including Desha Viruddha, Kala Viruddha, Agni Viruddha, Matra Viruddha, Veerya Viruddha, and Samskara Viruddha. Classical examples include fish with milk, heated honey, curd at night, and incompatible fermented foods. According to Ayurveda, incompatible food leads to Agnimandya, Ama formation, Dosha imbalance, Dhatu Dushti, and Srotorodha. These pathological changes eventually contribute to chronic inflammatory and metabolic disorders. Modern science also recognizes the harmful impact of unhealthy dietary patterns on metabolism, gut microbiota, and immune function. Clinical manifestations include indigestion, allergies, obesity, fatigue, skin diseases, gastrointestinal disturbances, and metabolic syndrome. Long-term incompatible dietary habits may contribute to diabetes mellitus, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions .Ayurveda strongly emphasizes prevention through proper dietary discipline, seasonal regulation, individualized nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices. Consumption according to digestive capacity, avoidance of processed foods, and maintenance of regular eating habits are considered essential. The concept of Viruddha Ahara demonstrates the preventive and holistic nature of Ayurveda. Modern research supports that unhealthy food combinations and processed diets disturb metabolism and contribute to lifestyle disorders. Therefore, Ayurvedic dietary principles remain highly relevant in modern preventive medicine and nutritional science.

Abstract Purpose This research investigates how remote work impacts personal life satisfaction and job satisfaction of workers in various industries. This study delves into the impact of flexibility, work-life balance, autonomy, communication and organizational support on employee perceptions and satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative research design was used and structured questionnaire was utilized and sent to remote and hybrid workers of technology, education, finance, healthcare, and service sectors. A descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used to analyze the data to assess the relationship between remote work and employee satisfaction. Findings The results suggest that telework positively affects personal life satisfaction and job satisfaction, as long as the companies employ the proper technology, communication network and flexibility. Employees indicated higher levels of autonomy, lower stress levels related to commuting, and better work-life balance. But for some workers, social isolation, communication difficulties and limited work-life balance had a negative impact on employees' satisfaction. Research limitations/implications This study is based on the self-reported data, and the sample size is relatively small. Longitudinal studies could be conducted and cross-country and cross-culture comparisons of the experiences of teleworkers made. Practical implications To enhance employee wellbeing and productivity in remote working environments, organisations need to put in place structured communication practices, mental health support systems, and flexible work policies. Originality/value This paper adds to the existing body of literature on telework by also exploring the effects of telework on personal life satisfaction and on job satisfaction and provides implications for practice for organizations transitioning to a new way of working.

Bangles are a key feature of cultural and literary imagination among Indian communities and represent femininity, tradition, marital status, and transitions of life cycles. This comparative research paper will discuss two poems that are separated by more than a century: the iconic poem by Sarojini Naidu, 'the Bangle Sellers' (1912), and the modern poem by T. Ramesh Reddy, 'Clay Bangles' (2020). By showing continuities in the description of bangles as a sign of female identity and changes in the accentuation, the study demonstrates a shift in focus, between metaphorical idealized seasons and the traditional domestic role in Naidu to a wider spectrum of life stages, an overt symbolic definition of colour, defensive roles and material anchoring in Reddy. The article builds its argument based on Indian cultural anthropology and literary studies, contending that the two works recognize bangles as essential markers of continuity in socio-cultural transformation that suggest the changing ways Indian womanhood is being represented in postcolonial and globalized environments.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a paradigm shift in the Indian education system by emphasizing holistic and multidisciplinary development of learners. Moving beyond traditional content-focused approaches, NEP 2020 highlights the importance of cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions of learning. In this context, emotional intelligence (EI) emerges as a crucial competency that supports the realization of holistic development. Emotional intelligence, defined as the ability to perceive, understand, and manage emotions, plays a vital role in shaping students' behavior, learning experiences, and interpersonal relationships. The present paper examines the role of emotional intelligence in achieving holistic development as envisioned in NEP 2020. Adopting a qualitative narrative review approach, the study synthesizes existing literature and policy perspectives to analyze how emotional intelligence contributes to educational transformation. The findings suggest that emotional intelligence enhances socio-emotional learning, promotes student engagement, and supports the development of essential life skills. Furthermore, the paper highlights the importance of integrating emotional intelligence into teacher education and classroom practices to effectively implement NEP 2020.The study concludes that emotional intelligence is not merely an additional skill but a fundamental component of holistic education. Its integration into the educational framework can significantly contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals capable of meeting the challenges of the twenty-first century.
