 Abstract

We all are going through a tough time because of COVID-19. Hardly any nation and nation�s sector left untouched by the impact of COVID-19. Clearly, harmful impacts are visible to all but there are some opportunities available too. This article will review the impacts of COVID-19 on the psychological well being of humans and on some other important sectors of India. It will also put emphasis on opportunities provided by the lockdown due to COVID-19 which was earlier a thing to be forgotten.

 Abstract

The security based circuit breaker is designed to protect the circuit from damage .which is caused by short circuit or overload. Many electrical accidents are happened due to miscommunication between the lineman�s & the electric substation staff .To avoid these accidents , The project is designed in which only authorized person can operate it with the help of password. The password based circuit breaker is a system that access only specified password to control the circuit breaker by authorized person only. Here , there is also a provision of changing the password .The system is fully controlled by a aurdino . The code is dumped into the microcontroller , A matrix keypad is used to enter the password and relay .

Abstract Due to societal taboos, there continues to be intolerance and rejection of both lesbian and gay writing. The most obvious fact about the history of judicial formulation is that it codifies an intensely painful system of double binds, systematically oppressing gay people, identities and acts by undermining through contradictory constraints, on discourse the grounds of their very being. But there were certain clues in the Puranas that they enjoyed once some privileges in society. The present paper tries to analyse various narratives in literature in India and in Kerala to understand the queer identities vividly. It is an attempt to regain lost spaces of these people within the social space of Kerala.

 Abstract

This Project follows an interactive assistant which is accessible by authorized personnel using face recognition and performs the user requests, using this assistant we launched a poster with the help of IOT in which the system used register server module to connect with the node mcu to run the aurdino code which is connected with a DC motor to run the poster down. When this project is executed the assistant invokes and asks the name of the user, after that it asks the user for specific tasks, if the user gives any task it recognises with the help of GTTS package and performs given tasks. The assistant can perform two types of tasks. They are basic tasks and authorized tasks. if the user requests basic tasks it normally executes without any authorization. If the user requests authorized tasks then the assistant checks whether the user is authorized person or not, if yes it executes the request else it denies the access for the given task.

During the period preceding and ensuing the World War II, most of the common people felt oppressed either by the entire absence for all the human facets or by the strict ideologies included as principles to be practiced by the people. So, a lot of atrocious acts had been noted in Europe, USA, Japan, and Russia. A Suicide, undeniably, was spreading more especially in the poor communities. Therefore, there was a need to modify both the way of human conditions and the tyranny of the established organization. So, Albert Camus, the famous French philosophical essayist, novelist, and playwright exquisitely wrote his The Myth of Sisyphus, his splendid essay in which he apparently refused the concept of suicide to get an individual rid of his dilemmas insisting meanwhile on the absurd reasoning to deal with the possible ways of life. Thus, the human psyche suffered from a lot of plights as losing of its� identity, isolation, and the caged dream.

 Abstract

Among the various plants breeding technique induced mutation using physical and chemical mutagens play a great achieving role in current days in improving economic value of the crop with genetic modification. In the present investigation foxtail millet [Setaria italica (L.) Beauv.] seeds were treated with different doses of gamma rays (GR) ranging from 200, 300 and 400Gy, varying concentration of ethyl methane sulphonate (EMS) 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4% and sodium azide (SA) 0.02, 0.03 and 0.04%. Variations in the germination percent of seeds, seedling height, seedling injury and survival of plant at maturity of foxtail millet were recorded in M1 generation. The effects of the mutagenic treatments on quantitative traits resulting in reduction in traits such as percent seed germination except 200Gy (86.13%), 0.2% EMS (85.96%) and 0.02% SA (87.21%), seedling height except 200Gy (7.02cm), 0.2%EMS (7.12cm) and 0.02%SA (6.96cm) while survival of plant at maturity except 200Gy (82.94%), 0.2% EMS (81.73%) and 0.02%SA (83.02%) but increases seedling injury except 200Gy (-02.03%), 0.2% EMS (-03.49%) and 0.02%SA (-01.16%) was observed in treated M1 generated plants.

 Abstract

The smart energy meter system helps how much energy is consumed in real time by the users and also they can be able to make changes to reduce the energy usage. By implementing these meters we can reduce the inconvenience to the employees and by putting an intolerance of sending monthly reading to the users.This paper presents the design of prepaid energy meter by using GSM Technology. This designed automated prepaid energy meter is used to assess the values of voltage, current and the consumption of power by displaying the units on LCD display. The main objective of this paper is to design and implement a Smart Electricity Metering System to control electricity consumption effectively by the consumers. The consumers can buy a specific amount of energy as per their requirement. If once the sim card is out of balance the consumer would receive a message about the consumption of power by giving an alert to recharge by using GSM Technology.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: Now a days, people are more concerned with the environment change. Hence, they prefer environment friendly products. The present study is based on the behavior of consumers towards green products. To study this, a primary data set is taken. The data is collected through a questionnaire and the response of consumers of green product is collected to know their preference over the green products. The data is analysed in detail to describe the various statistical methods. The techniques used here are explained in detail. It is required to know the basics of the calculations if one wants to use these tools. From the data it is found that the consumers� preference does depend on many parameters. The tabular and graphical presentation of the data is employed to give the clear picture of the responses. The relationship between two parameters responsible for the preferences of people over green marketing is shown by contingency tables and appropriate hypothesis tests are used to study the relationship between variables. A detailed discussion is done in the paper.
